Fantastische Erfahrung: Great museum, great planetarium. Took all the grandkids, children's section, megalodon exhibit, art, touch tank. Everyone enjoyed it. If you get a membership, the planetarium shows are included, saves some money over buying entrance and planetarium tickets separately.

Negative Erfahrung: DONT BOTHER ! And don’t bother calling because they don’t know their own business ! We called TWICE and they said their planetarium show started at 4pm and she recommended we get there early for tickets. We show up at 3pm and they said they already started their last show! So we drove up there for nothing. No need to spend $20 on a ticket just to walk around the tiny museum when you don’t even get to do what you were actually looking forward to. We literally called them!

Fantastische Erfahrung: What a beautiful museum complex! We didn't have time to see the planetarium but hope to return. We purchased memberships for future visits that also includes admission to reciprocating museums throughout Florida. It's a great bargain! And you get discounts at the MOAS gift shop!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Review is just of the Art portion the 'Cici Museum'. Great collection of Florida-themed art. Lots of depictions from over a hundred years ago. Venue is real nice too, with an outside area we used to read some pamphlets for a bit. Worth a visit!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We've been here many times and always enjoy the museum and the planetarium. The upgrades to the planetarium are fantastic. Loved the presentation on the night sky. The new megalodon exhibit is also extremely interesting.

It's a beautiful place, that offers something for everyone, and we were thoroughly impressed by our visit. the following week, I came back for an office party, so it is a very versatile venue. Exhibits: The highlight for us was the giant sloth exhibit. It's incredible to see such a fascinating creature that was found at a local park here. The exhibit is well-presented and informative, making it a must-see. Planetarium: The planetarium is another standout feature of the museum. It's very informative and perfect for children. The shows are engaging and educational, sparking curiosity about the universe in young minds. It’s a wonderful way for kids to learn about astronomy in a fun setting. Fantastische Erfahrung: This Location has a Very Kid Friendly Section of hands on Science. The Exhibits are Really Nice. The Planetarium is a delight for Space enthusiasts. The cost is reasonable. An Annual Pass is recommended if You plan to visit at least twice in one year. The Pass will also allow you to visit other attractions related to MOAS! Fantastische Erfahrung: Visiting with my family was an amazing experience. My mother and I geeked out and my brother and husband enjoyed it as well. We stayed for over 3 hours doing the whole tour by ourselves. Florida or just in state for a visit, you should go and have an amazing time.

Positive Erfahrung: We went for the Megalodon exhibit and it was very enjoyable and fascinating. I wish there had been more Megalodon and shark related things though, they could’ve done a lot with that. The museum is extremely clean and quiet, everyone was respectful. The gift shop is small but filled with adorable things, we didn’t buy anything this time. We really wanted to go on the trains that they have displayed, I think it would’ve been very cool to see. One disappointment was that in the train room you can only access the ground portion by stairs or a handicap elevator, but it didn’t seem to be working or you have to get someone from the museum to turn it on, and nobody was ever around. We had a baby and stroller and wanted to go down and see everything but we couldn’t. As far as employees in the museum, it seemed like a ghost town except for at the very front desk and gift shop. I don’t recall seeing a single employee around the actual museum.

Fantastische Erfahrung: What a Hidden GEM in Daytona 10min from the Speedway! My 8yo Grandson LOVED the Megalodon exhibit that was so much to explore & we enjoyed the classic cars & 2 Trains, (wished we could have been able to actually board the trains for the full experience). Truly do appreciate they give back to the community by offering "Free" admission to Volusia residents the 1st Tuesday of every month (w/driver license). Staff was wonderful, friendly & dressed professional. No WOKE AGENDA here like in Orlando! So many antiques and paintings to explore! Affordable & highly recommend. Parking is "Free" too! Thank you MOAS!!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Lots to look at. A great place for kids to learn and interact with exhibits. We saw a planetarium show and had lunch at the small cafe. All and all a great experience.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Beautiful museum and grounds. We saw both the Melagadon exhibit and the Florida Fishing exhibit. It made for a great afternoon and the price was reasonable. We actually went for lunch at nearby Steve's Diner and then returned to tour the other art gallery there later in the afternoon.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Had a wonderful time with the family. The kids loved the children's museum, obviously but they also really enjoyed all the vintage cars, teddy bear museum and the real life train cars. What a gem.

Fantastische Erfahrung: MOAS is one of the best places to visit in Daytona Beach. A vast collection of diverse works and their Cici & Hyatt Brown houses the largest collection of Florida Art in the world! Be sure to ask about the NARM & ASTC benefits with a membership. GREAT place to bring young children.

Negative Erfahrung: Sound system poor, couldn't understand young lady, too much echo. Seats don't go back far enough, stiff neck.

Negative Erfahrung: No Longer Accepts ASTC Passport Program! Drove an hour out of our way only to be turned away. We instead drove up to Jacksonville instead (who graciously does accept Passport Program)

Negative Erfahrung: Extremely hot in the common areas. Souvenir shop was closed. Children's area (which is obviously the most highly trafficked area) is quite worn (pizza and foam blocks were discolored from being so dirty and worn), many of the science experiments for the kids were broken (xray dark room and race cars) or missing pieces or so worn they were illegible as to what they were or how the worked. But the biggest reason for the rating is the extremely rude housekeeping staff. The man approached us from behind with a large cart as we were rounding a corner to enter the children's area so we did not know he was there and rather than saying "excuse me" he loudy said "get outta the way." Coca-cola exhibit and pharmacy exhibit were fascinating though.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Love the place, but wish the Planetarium wasn't named after the Funeral Family, who's buried many of our local family and friends. Imagine being so narcissistic, that you want a Planetarium named after your family which is obviously synonymous with death. If I were them, I'd have gladly named the Planetarium something relevant or even inspiring. Imagine the narcissism? I physically can't.

Fantastische Erfahrung: My son loved the art and the prehistoric sloth! He's a big fan of Coke!

Negative Erfahrung: I am hoping we just visited during a bad time for the museum.. most of the exhibits were closed. We came primarily for the children’s exhibit for our son, but we were pretty sad to see that a majority of the toys or interactive portions were broken or hardly worked. Super disappointed! The portion we ended up hanging out the most in was the front part of the “Tuscawilla Preserve” the rest of the exhibit is closed off from storm damage in 2022 according to the website. The part we could stand in was so gorgeous I am not sure why they wouldn’t try to get the rest of it fixed faster. I think if we would have been able to see that full exhibit then our experience might have really been different.

Fantastische Erfahrung: So much to see and do. The kiddos had a blast with the experiments and interactive stations. Before we knew it 3 hrs had passed and they were still trying to get it all in. We'll be back!

Positive Erfahrung: We really enjoyed the Museum and the Megladon exhibit was pretty cool. I took one star off because a lot of the exhibits in the children’s part of the museum were old, broken down, or just didn’t work. I think some refreshing of the children’s exhibits is definitely in order. My 5 year old enjoyed it, but definitely kept asking for more to do.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This hidden gem of a history museum -- along with the nearby gallery of local paintings -- was the highlight of my second visit to Daytona in over 6 years. My friend there is a member, so he got us in front free with his two years guest passes. But even if I had to pay $15 on my very limited budget, it would have been worth it. Being a fan of modern history, I loved almost everything on display, from the huge vintage Coca Cola items, early 20th century pharmacy and soda fountain, cool antique knickknacks, two old American passenger train cars, and even the giant dollhouse filled with cleverly posed teddy bears in each room. Also enjoyed the smaller rooms with science themed displays, even though they were unrelated to the Americana displays. This is a great museum for kids and kid-like adults like we all were. We saw almost everything in under two hours, without rushing.

Positive Erfahrung: I took my kids here for the megalodon exhibit. The kids had a good time. We learned a lot and they really enjoyed the hands on kid area. Unfortunately a lot of the things in the kid section were broken or missing pieces but we still enjoyed it. We ordered some food and drinks from the Cafe and enjoyed that as well. We are a family of 6 so it was pretty expensive for us to go. We ended up getting the membership because it was pretty much the same price as a 1 day visit for us though. We look forward to coming back soon especially during the summer time.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I sight to see. Passes get you into 2 museum and an add-on for the Planetarium. The painting and art work museum is a must see. It was day 1 of the Megalodon exhibit. We just stumbled across going to a Museum today. The Coca-Cola exhibit is amazing, real train cars ( not sure why it smelled like a train depot though). Definitely a fun day out. Positive Erfahrung: So many interesting exhibits. The Ford museum is guite expensive with a lot of fasinating antique cars. Attended two presentations about spade and enjoyed them both. I would highly recommend this place.

Negative Erfahrung: Came here yesterday alone with my children, would never recommend doing that. I approached the front desk to pay for entry (nobody greeted us upon walking in... even though there was multiple staff members including security sitting there) and then the lady who showed me the temporary entrance into the childrens area, I had to go outside and then through the side door. I was alone with my children in there when a male came in shouting " WHO IS IN HERE" TERRIFIED MY CHILDREN. It turned out to be a museum member of staff. He then started questioning how I got in there even though the sign on the door says TEMP CHILDREN MUSEUM ENTRANCE. The WORST experience my children have ever had at a museum.

Fantastische Erfahrung: One of my very favorite museums because of the variety of gallery subjects, themes plus planetarium and children's science museum. The visiting WWII exhibit was marvelous. The gift shop has a neat variety of items from affordable to quality pieces. All ages were happy to spend 2 hours here 2 different days and we still haven't seen everything. Good thing we got a membership! The reciprocal discounts at SERM and NERM museums plus The Crayola Discovery Experience make it a terrific value.

Fantastische Erfahrung: A very nice museum to go to a great place to go for the whole family they have a lot of items on display through the decades and through a lot of history throughout the US Museum of Arts and Sciences just that it's a fun place to go to they have a great place for the children to learn they have a lot to see in there whether you're young or old this is a great place for the whole family we went here before going to the Daytona 500 this year it was a nice little outing it was a very good learning experience for the younger children I myself have been here before but this was the first time taking this larger group of the family down there and we all had a blast you can get lots of good pictures down here too and some good souvenirs from the souvenir shops museums like this help people grow and their knowledge museums of all types do this but this one has a great interacting place for children to go and the children's section there's a lot of good things for even adults to see this is a must visit when you're down Daytona Beach area you will have a great time we did and do have good times here when we're down here at Daytona area we highly recommend a visit to here for the whole family

Fantastische Erfahrung: Great educational experience with the Planetarium shows and the museum itself! Between artwork, hands on learning experiences, the cleanliness and safety of the whole place, I highly recommend this for all walks of life!

Positive Erfahrung: Has a wide variety of exhibits from African masks to swords to paintings and furniture to WWII. We weren't particularly interested in every exhibit. Met a friendly and informative dosent in the Coca-Cola Bottling exhibit and enjoyed the passenger rail cars.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is one of my son's favorite places to visit. So, when he said he wanted a big birthday party, I could not have found a better venue than here. At first, I had a very difficult time, but then a fantastic person by the name of Savannah reached out to me. And she not only made it right, but she went above and beyond her duties in my opinion. She took care of booking our event, and when I arrived, I was given a hand written letter by her in a nice card. Savannah not only saved the day for my son's party, but she made us feel appreciated and welcomed and kept communication the whole way through. Savannah is a true asset to this beautiful museum! As for the venue itself, I couldn't recommend it highly enough! The facility was so clean and accommodating! The planetarium is updated, and there are new exhibits to explore as well. The children's area is perfect for all ages to play and learn. And they are working on upgrading that as well. So, believe me when I tell you that this is the perfect place to have your kid's birthday party.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I have been in Halifax Health Brooks Rehabilitation center for two weeks! A group of us had a scheduled outing to MOAS today .We only saw one fifth of what they have to offer. Fantastic displays and artworks from Florida as well as all over the world! Very emotionally moving military momentoes. They have special events for the upcoming holidays! I am definitely going to attend.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Love this place, love the programs, the exhibits, definitely worth the money. Only downside is the exhibits don’t switch out super often so unless you decide to limit your time at the museum to not “use it all up” at once, there’s not a lot of incentive to go back once you have seen and read everything except for the random events. Still love it though.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We went to the candlelight concert featuring Vivaldi. They played the four seasons. The quartet was amazing. We really enjoyed it.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We were pleasantly surprised at the diversity of displays at this museum. We found both the World War II, and the Coca-Cola bottling plant exhibits interesting, but the star of the show was the enormous Pleistocene era giant sloth.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We spent 2.5 hours here. We enjoyed all of the exhibits, even the kids area although we did have kids with us. It was well worth the price.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Beautiful place. There alot of things to see. About a three hour deal if you take your time and look between the two museums. Would highly recommend.

Fantastische Erfahrung: When we got there people were set up with telescopes looking and waiting for the solar eclipse they handed out free glasses for the show before we went in to see the art and science exhibits. The staff was nice and inviting. Awesome gift shop I got to see all the different types of bottles coke was distributed in how it was made and cost. This place was like many museums in one place. I watched the movie Captain America this museum has the motorcycle with the shotgun attached I thought I would never lay my eyes on a real one. I may have cried a little bit just looking at it and imagining it's journey. And the trains. I shall return soon as I missed the planetarium show

Fantastische Erfahrung: My family has had a membership here for about 6 months. The exhibits are interesting and fun. All of my kids like the kid zone and the planetarium. Also, if parents want to keep kids engaged, there is a scavenger hunt at the front desk. You just need to ask. My kids loved finding everything on it, and then they got a small prize.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We missed the new WW2 exhibit by just two days, which we're bummed about. We would have loved to of seen that, but I guess it just means we'll have to come back. This is a fun museum. There really is a lot to see for everyone of all ages. My husband and I even found ourselves playing like kids in the children's exhibits. The giant sloth was my personal favorite (because duh). But the locomotive, automotive and coke displays were also incredible. Coming from Pennsylvania, it was really fun to see the Cuban art exhibit and learning that our very own, and very loved, Milton Hershey got his sugar cane from Cuba, developed a sugar mill, and schools for orphaned children in the process. It was really fun to learn new things about our state's favorite legend all the way here in Florida. It's definitely worth checking out.

Fantastische Erfahrung: So much fun!! We came for the new telescope exhibit and it was interesting. This museum covers an array of history and even has sections for children. My favorite was the insect and bone displays while my grandfather enjoyed everything automotive/locomotive!! This spot is a true gem to spend 1-2 hours exploring!

Fantastische Erfahrung: This museum has something for everyone, and the whole family (3 generations) as a whole. I enjoyed the art very much, and my parents loved reminiscing of all things from the past. Something to see, learn and explore around every corner. I would like to make a special note about the ladies who worked at the front desk, I had a personal request and they came through.
