🗣️ Museo de Historia Natural del Eton College: Opiniones
Experiencia positiva: An amazing small collection of artefacts, just a shame about such limited opening times.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely brilliant evening shared with fellow members of Aktiveyes. I strongly recommend a visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Cute little museum with a surprisingly amount of pieces. Only open 3 hours a week on some Sundays - check on the Eton college website before going.
Experiencia fantástica: Okay
Experiencia positiva: Piccolo museo, alcuni animali sono fossili, gli altri conservati. Bello l'angolo per i bambini.
Experiencia fantástica: Just work there
Experiencia fantástica: Great experience for younger kids, went with kid's school trip.
Experiencia positiva: Musel is closed on saturday so if you plan to visit schedule another day
Experiencia fantástica: A great museum, loads of interest, visited with the cubs and they loved it, great activities
Experiencia positiva: Good place for a short visit
Experiencia fantástica: Lovely little museum with a variety of pieces picked up on travels etc. Well worth the pop in on a Sunday afternoon
Experiencia fantástica: Went on a school trip and it was a great afternoon
Experiencia positiva: small and only open Sunday afternoons!
Experiencia fantástica: The museum is an integral part of the oldest non-stop functioning, most prestigious and most expensive college in the world. It is open to the public only once a week on Sundays from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Entry is free of charge. However, I strongly suggest leaving a small donation of a couple of pounds if you can afford it. A great educational place for couples with kids. After all that is, where princes William and Harry studied natural history, whilst studying at Eton for 5 years.
Experiencia fantástica: Had a fabulous lecture about arctic mammals from George Fussey at the Eton College Natural History museum as a part of the Windsor & Eton Living Advent Calendar
Experiencia positiva: Hidden gem. I never new this place was hear till recently. Definitely a resource to be used.
Experiencia fantástica: This was a pleasant surprise. My 6yo and I thoroughly enjoyed spending some time here. It is very small - but soooo much to see and do
Experiencia negativa: I didn't really mind going around the museum, but it didn't have a cafe or an information centre. Even though you don't need to pay an admission fee, you just look at things from the ground floor and the 1st floor. I would genuinely recommend this place if you're just looking to save money and explore somewhere just to pass the time.
Experiencia positiva: Small museum, extensive collection of British birds, but also other spiecies. No acces for buggies or wheelchairs you have to climb a curved staircase and then come out on an even curvier one. Good for older children. Very friendly staff.
Experiencia fantástica: Very well presented in historic environment. Very educational
Experiencia fantástica: Lovely museum very helpful staff
Experiencia fantástica: Suggestivo
Experiencia fantástica: Shame it's only open on Sunday afternoons, but it's free and it worth a quick visit, I spent about 30min here
Experiencia negativa: It's OK, but not very interesting.
Experiencia positiva: Good place to see
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic little museum. Extensive collections of all manner of creatures.
Experiencia fantástica: Hidden gem. Stumbled across it by accident . Great collection, the 4 eyed kitten was a definite highlight!
Experiencia positiva: Interesting museum, although it didn't get updated recently. I liked the fact that there are different paths for children through the museum, but some aspects could benefit from a more modern approach. There was a QR code at the beginning, maybe there could be more NFC or QR codes throughout the museum. The museum isn't open often, make sure to check the opening times before going here.
Experiencia fantástica: They've got some really cool stuffed animals and the exhibits were really interesting. It's mainly focused on exploration and evolution.
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing little museum tucked away. If you can make it in their select opening hours then I recommend it.
Experiencia positiva: 名門イートン校が、毎週日曜日の午後2時半から5時の間だけ一般向けに無料開放している自然史博物館。小規模ながら充実した展示内容です。同じ界隈に点在する、イートン校による他2箇所のミュージアム(The museum of eton life, The museum of Antiquities)も是非訪れてみたい隠れ家的ミュージアムです。
Experiencia positiva: Lovely local to Windsor. Has some interesting items..x
Experiencia positiva: The museum is well done, you can feel amazed as if you were in the Natural History Museum in London although its smaller size. It was interesting to discover how many pupils of the Eton college later became great scientist in the past to understand the importance of this institution. Free admission on Sundays 2.30-5.00pm, easily reached by feet from Eton Central.
Experiencia positiva: Great
Experiencia positiva: Open once a week to the public.
Experiencia negativa: Never been there
Experiencia positiva: Lovely little museum, if you have a spare hour the kids will love it
Experiencia positiva: Brilliant fine. Foc. Many beautiful exhibits and much natural history
Experiencia fantástica: Hidden gem in Eton! The museum is not big but full of exhibits. The display is well organised. Contents have covered different biology knowledge and explorers’ adventure. It is a great place for kids and adults to learn! Sadly it is only open on Sunday afternoon but if you are going to Windsor Castle on Sunday (like I do), you can come before joining the service in St. George Chapel which is not open for visit on Sundays.
