Aparcamiento del Museo Industrial de Etruria

Experiencia fantástica: Attended the canal boat festival (June every year) a wonderful day absolutely rammed with people. One of the best yet. The museum is on the same site, is open but it's not the main attraction today.

Experiencia positiva: Brilliant place very educational and interesting

Experiencia fantástica: I visited the Etruria Boat Gathering weekend July 2021. The museum and cafe were closed for this event. The narrow boats assembled were lovely to see. On the adjoining field there was plenty going on for all the family with stalls, storytelling, craft activities such as braiding and making coiled pots, bollywood dancing workshops and a choir singing songs about rivers and canals. There was a bar and tables and chairs spaced out on the grass. Portaloos, signs about social distancing and hand sanitising points throughout the site. The event was free, but people had to book a timed entry slot prior to arriving. It was well attended, but never crowded. Definitely an event to look out for in the future.
