Experiencia fantástica: What a great little museum, I've only lived here for two years, and would have never thought to visit. The gift shop has some different and well priced gifts too. Decent branded bottled drinks and yum cakes in the cafe.

Experiencia fantástica: Great little museum in Wrexham that gives you an insight to it's local history and heritage. There was a small display of Welsh football with Wales legend John Charles golden boot and Aaron Ramsey's No.8 Wales shirt. Nice displays about the Acton dog and links to Roman history. It has a children's room, cafe and toilets. Some rooms are a little dark and make it difficult to photograph the displays.

Experiencia fantástica: Small museum showing the local history of Wrexham and the surrounding area, it is free entry and there is a pay and display carpark just behind that is £1.30 for 2 hours which is more than enough time to explore the museum and even visit the café.

Experiencia fantástica: I need to visit this more often. A gem for local history and culture which should be more appreciated in my opinion. Always fascinating exhibitions going on and failing all that it's even got a cafe. If you want to learn about wrexham this is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: I didn't know what to expect, but me and the kids really enjoyed it. It's small, but it gives you a great idea of the history of Wrexham.

Experiencia fantástica: A modest little museum detailing Wrexham's earliest beginnings to it's importance in medieval times being on the borderlands with information on the former ancient Holt castle (long lost to time) right through to Wrexham's more famed industrial past. I especially liked the cinema corner where it showcased 3 different films on Wrexham's history from the proud mining heritage in the nearby former coal district, the football club and the Racecourse's important place in Welsh football and lastly a film looking at the history behind Wrexham's famous larger which has been brought back into production in more recent years. The museum is all on one floor so it won't take too long to explore, there is also an exhibition area which at the moment is centered on Welsh football. Most of the displays seem child friendly for young curious minds and a few are interactive. There is also a cafe opposite the entrance and front desk but I didn't use it. Well worth a look in if in town and have a little time to spare. Proud to be a son of Wrexham

Enjoy the super cafe - can recommend cheese and pineapple on toast. And don't miss the well stocked and reasonably priced diverse gift shop. Relax, learn and enjoy.

Experiencia fantástica: A regular visitor to this fabulous museum with rotating interesting exhibitions and its free entry. The cafe is a must too with a good selection at a reasonable price. It's my go to place when ever I visit Wrexham for a large good pot of tea!

Experiencia fantástica: For a small museum Wrexham museum has a wealth of information and exhibits. Well informed staff are at hand to answer questions and there are archivists with access to local history working from the same building.
