Experiencia fantástica: Encantador pequeño museo. Superó con creces mis expectativas. A los niños les encantaron las partes interactivas, que los mantuvieron entretenidos e interesados. Brillante por las pocas libras que costó. También era una pareja muy encantadora la que lo dirigía.

Experiencia fantástica: Interesantes colecciones. Se pueden encontrar huellas de polacco, en memoria de los aviadores polacos o la visita del embajador polaco. Porthcawl es un pintoresco pueblo costero con una amplia playa y un puerto deportivo, famoso por el Festival anual de Elvis Presley.

Experiencia fantástica: Brilliant place!!! I popped in for no particular reason other than occupying my time for a short while. I was amazed at the amount of items on view, and all pertaining to local history. Fascinating! Staff are very friendly and are happy to answer all queries and more than willing to engage in conversations regarding local history. Run by volunteers who act as professional as you would want. Well worth a visit if you are on the area

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a plenty to see! There's a lot to learn about the history of Porthcawl such as shipwrecks and Porthcawl and the Dambusters. Items are all donated by local people. Entry is only £2.50. Well worth a visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Not to be missed. Really interesting and informative visit. The guides, all volunteers, are passionate about the history of Porthcawl. Some unusual exhibits. Very well presented.

Experiencia fantástica: It was our first visit yes I agree it's small but well worth the £2.50 it charges . It will not be our last visit has we are hoping to shortly leave the isle of Wight to live in Portcawl I spoke to the people that volunteer and was given a warm reception.

Experiencia fantástica: A truly excellent couple of hours spent discovering the wonderful history of Porthcawl and how it has evolved over the years. The presentation is so well done that you hardly notice time go by while you are there. You can also discover fascinating facts about the surrounding area and the second world War which will really surprise you. A great team of volunteers that really know their stuff. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: Lovely little museum with friendly and knowledgeable staff only to happy to share what they know. While these kinds of small town museums tend to be a bit eclectic they carry it off here. These places aren't always the most exciting for younger children but they've put dinosaurs, cats and rats in every room for the kids to find.

Experiencia fantástica: I discovered this hidden gem today ! I would highly recommend a visit . Fascinating memorabilia from both world wars , and the maritime history of Porthcawl is also well represented. Volunteers are welcoming and very helpful . Free art gallery on the first floor .

Experiencia fantástica: We visited this Museum on Tuesday 24th July 18, We found it very interesting, lots of information, and the two men on duty that day were very very knowledgable , and were a great help in our enjoyment. it is a must for anyone interested in the history of the ship wrecks around this coast.
