Experiencia fantástica: Interesting museum very huge inside and volunteers very friendly. Krystie (I think) was so great at telling us about the area and showing us around. It'd be nice to see more information on the Chinese miners and other non-European immigrants, as well as Yorta Yorta history.

Experiencia positiva: Looks good. The opening hours are very unique: even Sundays, odd Wednesdays etc. It's better to call and be sure about the timings. 8-10 historical items are on display in the garden, and they can be viewed from outside, even if the office is closed.

Experiencia fantástica: Blown away by the wonderful exhibits and friendly staff. Full of amazing things to see and of course our Aussie irreverent humour is obvious around the displays. You can even leave your own comments as 'post it' pads are thoughtfully left throughout.

Experiencia negativa: We came all the way from Strathbogie to find it closed! It's mentioned as "Open" online and it's so misleading... According to the paper sign on the door, it will be open again on 22nd March 2022.

Experiencia positiva: Being someone who grew up in Shepparton and moved away, this was a very nostalgic journey through my pre teen and teen years. Certainly well worth visiting if you have any past relationship with Shepparton.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible repository of historical items, packed into every available space. It is easy to spend hours here. I was especially interested in the military displays, foremost of which is the one dedicated to HMAS Shepparton. There are also two important artillery pieces in the museum. A Japanese-made German-designed QF 37mm AT No.2163 Type 94 1942 on carriage and a smooth-bore muzzle-loading (SBML) 32-pdr 42cwt 43-0-10 cannon No.1012 made in 1843 by Walker & Co. resting in the rear yard.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic seeing all the old items my mum used to use. The guy in the shop was great and included my granddaughter who was very interested .

Experiencia fantástica: The Heritage Centre is a must-see for visitors to Shepparton. It may look small on the outside but it's far bigger than it looks on the inside. They even have the old post-office clock in there! As well as a ton of things from the area from over the years. You could honestly spend hours in there, poking around. I definitely recommend a visit!
