Experiencia fantástica: Visited the Palestinian voices exhibition and was so pleased to see such an important exhibition celebrating Palestinian history and culture in Peterborough. The beautiful, poignant poetry written by children, along with extensive educational information on Palestinian history and culture is so needed right now, especially as there is so much misinformation and dehumanisation of Palestinians, particularly in mainstream media, at present. Thank you to all involved in organising this wonderful exhibition.

Experiencia fantástica: Free museum with a wide range of well presented displays, covering the story of Peterborough from prehistoric times up to its recent industrial heritage. There's plenty to see, and exhibits have been thoughtfully designed, presenting lots of information in an accessible format. There's lots to read but it doesn't feel overwhelming. Whether you're interested in dinosaurs, archaeology, military history, railways or art, there's something for everyone. The preserved Victorian operating theatre is a rare survivor, and a reminder of the building's former use as a hospital. Facilities include a café, toilets and a small gift shop. The museum is less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station.

Experiencia fantástica: I vsited the museum today, having not been for around 2 years. Some wonderful new displays, as well as those I remember seeing as a kid (bone models from Norman Cross etc.). I had the privilege of speaking to a couple of lovely people who were with the History of Palestine feature. Such an amazing display with heartfelt poetry written by the children. I'm so impressed the museum has such a meaningful display on at the moment. Well done all those involved

The exhibition showcases poignant poems written by children highlighting the struggles they face everyday and exhibits the true and extensive history of Palestine/Palestinians before illegal occupation, ethnic cleansing and genocide. Palestinian culture and heritage is truly beautiful and I highly recommend everyone to go and visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended the launch of the Palestine Voices exhibition recently and can’t thank the organisers (Peterborough Palestinian Solidarity Campaign) and Peterborough Museum enough for the enlightening experience. A very moving and educational evening. I paid a second visit just to absorb the depth of the rich culture that is on display. Some very moving poems from very young Palestinians. My favourite exhibit was the true portrayal of the map of Ancient Palestine with the original and authentic names of every village most of which have now been erased. Well done, Peterborough Museum, for such an enriching experience.

We have learnt about the Romans, World Wars, the history of our birthplace, so many beautiful art exhibitions from local artists and perhaps this is what we love the most that the museum always endorses a voice for each and all. A town diverse in culture and heritage but showing the historical significance and change in Peterborough. We loved the Palestinian exhibition, a true display of history which was not in anyway antisemitic but a representation of history which all of our children deserve to know existed.

Experiencia fantástica: I regularly visit the museum with my brother and we thoroughly enjoy everytime. Recently, we went to view the Palestine Exhibition and it was one of the best visits. The Exhibition is so beautiful and it was incredibly enlightening to see the vibrant culture and the poems by the children were so powerful and so sad. So much to learn, so enjoyable and definitely worth a visit if you want to learn new information and have a profound experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited the museum yesterday looking at the artefacts, poems written by the children of Palestine and the handicrafts from Hebron. I was impressed by the display and to see how culturally diverse the Palestinian people are in spite of the difficult times they are going through. The Peterborough PSC Branch members have done a fantastic job in brining this cultural display to Peterborough. It is highly informative. I would recommend everyone to visit the Peterborough Museum to see the Palestinian display especially.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful museum. Friendly staff and a good selection of local finds including fossils and Roman pottery. There is a large room that hosts a variety of exhibitions that change regularly and plenty of activities for children. The recent exhibition about Palestinian culture was especially wonderful to see especially the two beautiful robes on display with stunning traditional embroidery. The beautiful selection of children’s poetry was especially poignant. The cafe has a small but tasty selection of cakes and the tea is served is the most beautiful little pots. The gift shop has a great variety of items and draws me in every time! Lovely atmosphere and a great place to visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Just been to the Palestine voices exhibition, what an amazing display of history and culture. So important when there are well financed and heavily resourced powers seeking to dehumanise those people and commnit horrendous acts of ethnic cleansing and Genocide.

Experiencia negativa: 6 million minus stars to a place that is basically portraying Isreal as a terriost state. Besides for wiping Isreal off the map this museum has blatantly disregarded the fact that Isreal is a Jewish homeland and has been so since before Palestine was even thought of. Museums are supposed to be neutral ground for people and especially children of all backgrounds to learn interesting history that is TRUE. Instead of presenting the isreal-gaza war in its true form it is presenting gaza as an innocent smooth skinned baby and isreal as a revolting terriost state that wants to push all arabs into the sea. This is FALSE! this museum is NOT a museum but merely a terriost solidarity building hiding behind a museum this is a lying terriost solidarty organization full of inaccurate facts. Continue this way and your 'honorable' museum will be 'honorable' no longer

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful homely and friendly place . With lots of interesting subjects throughout history ( upstairs) Down stairs there was an art display by local artists . The staff in the cafe were most friendly and helpful and it had such a cosy atmosphere.The walls filled with past history which got everyone talking They even had an operating table with all the surgical instruments that were used .The building in the past was used as a hospital ! So thank you Peterborough museum for making my day with a beautiful place that's filled with wonderful history ( even dinosaurs) loved every moment ,so relaxing and definitely worth a visit . They also have great facilities for disabled people.

Experiencia fantástica: Easy wheelchair access to all floors via lift. I went for the Must Farm exhibition, in a dedicated exhibition space that changes. Very friendly staff. Only thing to watch for is cafe lunch cut off time. Really interesting place.

Consejo profesional: si tienes poco tiempo, empieza desde el último piso. La era Victoriana, uno de los 3 teatros restantes, fue algo emocionante de ver. My one issue is how little of the art collection is on show - given how much empty wall space there is, I can't see any reason to keep 90% of their paintings in storage.

Experiencia fantástica: Escondido en una calle lateral, este museo es una joya oculta. Originalmente sirviendo como hospital, el museo ahora exhibe un teatro de operaciones victoriano original en un piso superior. Los pisos inferiores y otras habitaciones albergan diversas exposiciones temáticas locales e historia local que abarcan desde la era moderna hasta la romana y prehistórica. ¡Un fabuloso café y cafetería para complementar!

Experiencia fantástica: Viajamos desde Ipswich específicamente para ver la exposición de Must Farm, un asentamiento sajón. Qué museo tan increíble, un verdadero tesoro. Había 3 pisos con las exposiciones más completas que he visto. No es complicado, ¡no hay montones de interminables avisos de información que te aburren leer! Solo excelentes objetos para ver con la cantidad justa de información. Había hechos fascinantes por todo el museo, incluso sobre las escaleras y el cabrestante del teatro de operaciones victoriano en la parte superior. Visita el café y pide una tetera para 2, ¡que es tan grande que te quedarás sin té! Todo esto es gratis, (bueno, el té no lo es) así que haz una donación y mantén esta maravilla de Peterborough en funcionamiento para el futuro.

Experiencia fantástica: El museo tiene una amplia colección acumulada a lo largo de 130 años. Exploras millones de años de la historia de Peterborough, desde los mares jurásicos y las fortalezas romanas. Visitamos durante los días de semana con actividades adicionales y aves silvestres en vivo.

Experiencia fantástica: Fui allí para una experiencia de Escape Room. Muy buena y en algunos casos un poco difícil. Necesitas pensar fuera de la caja en todas las pistas. Recomiendo mucho la sala de escape The Wine Cellar.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a delightful museum. We visited during the school holidays & it was busy, with a good number of young families - all clearly enjoying themselves. There was an exhibition of paintings of local scenes by a local artist, which were very appealing (& would be interesting from a historical perspective to locals, especially as old photos were displayed alongside). The fossil gallery is bound to be a big draw with kids. Interesting to read about the work of 2 local palaeontologists. Roman section also very interesting. Didn't have time to see the Norman Cross finds, so will have to go back! Nice little café.
