Experiencia fantástica: Interesting history, lots of answers, not open very often(another covid), but worth seeing.
Experiencia fantástica: It’s a volunteer based museum. The knowledgeable volunteers gave us a very detailed explanation about the tel-history and the tel-equipments being used in the past. People are very nice and all valuable antiques are really well maintained. Though this museum is small, it has covered BC’s tel-development history. I hope that all British Columbians would support the museum so that it could be sustainable for future generations.

Experiencia fantástica: Uh, did somebody say ultimate stop for history about Aldergrove and telephones? You did? Then head on down to the telephone museum! From telephones to photographs of what Aldergrove looked like before it became the sess pool we all call a town. After browsing for a bit at the vintage artitecture of the building and the telephones, take a tour through history with the very nice director.

Experiencia positiva: Major portion of work still in progress but you can still walk in and visit a chapter in history on telecommunications. It has the earlier switch boards used in telephone exchanges
We have done a fair bit of work in the museum, but we are still finding it a challenge to be open regular hours as we are entirely volunteer-run.
Experiencia negativa: Rarely open
Thank you for your rating and comment. It is a challenge for small societies like ours to maintain regular hours due to a lack of volunteers. We do not have any paid staff, but we do endeavour to be open as often as we can, and you can always contact the museum to book a tour. The museum will be open this Saturday during the Cruise In event for anyone who wishes to drop by.
