Experiencia positiva: This museum is mostly about the families of early Picton. It does have some interesting displays about whaling. But not sure it was worth the entry fee of $16 for our family of four.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a lvly place to visit. Learnt loads more of our history...took me back to my school day teachings of Kupe and the foreshore. Dustless museum. Recommend highly to visit or re-visit this amazing place of history. $5 entry per adult. So worth it. Thank u Picton Museum

Experiencia positiva: Surprisingly moving place where you can feel History. Coming from the antipodes, I enjoyed a lot visiting it and it took less than an half hour to do it. I don't see any reason not to indulge. This of course doesn't mean that I appreciate hunting whales. Conveniently located a stone's throw from the Ferry terminal.

Experiencia positiva: Very small, had some interesting facts about the area as well as some weird stuff like a blue whale embryo, old medical equipment, as well as heaps of old photos depicting the whaling origins of the area. It was free on the day which was preferring as I don't think it would have been worth an entry fee.
