Experiencia fantástica: beautiful place to visit

Experiencia fantástica: Carahue is 52 kilometers from Temuco on the banks of the Imperial River. In one of its avenues, what is described as "the largest steam engine museum in the world" is exhibited. It is not railway-type steam locomotives, they are steam machines used from the 70s of the 19th century until almost the middle of the 20th century, in rural areas, to drive threshers, saws for wood and any other type of machinery that demanded a lot of constant force. Almost all these machines were manufactured in England and were used in the southern region of Chile.

Experiencia positiva: Loved this open-air museum! A little over a score-and-a-half of old steam engines, very well preserved. The only thing missing would be some signage telling us the story and details about each exhibit. But it was free and it could be visited any time at one's own pace, so I'm not really complaining, actually it's more like a suggestion (if the curators ever read this, that is).
