Experiencia fantástica: My Three Sons and I had a great morning here! We learnt so much and really appreciated the Staff chatting to us about some interesting history behind the aircrafts and other machinery and equipment they have there. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Experiencia fantástica: Interesting place to visit. We celebrated Hunters 5th birthday in the kids area.

Experiencia negativa: Toxic organisation. Another bunch of hypocrites who aren't what they try to pass themselves off as. The arrogant and abusive doctor is not the only one. Avoid if you expect to be treated with respect.

Experiencia positiva: Took my nieces son (6yrs old Nixon who has a passion for planes) out for a look around. I then had a bit of a struggle to get him to leave. Staff were very friendly and interactive with the children. The area set aside specifically for children is awesome. Highly recommend this venue for children of all ages (this includes adults ).

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to spend an hour or two checking out a bit of history. Be sure to take a ride with Paul in the Tiger Moth. Avoid the arrogant & abusive French / Pom doctor, but the rest of the volunteers are absolutely brilliant .

Experiencia fantástica: Well worth a visit especially if you have an interest in aircraft and the history of Darton Airfield, Gisborne. New Zealand. With restored planes and all kinds of aircraft memorabilia. Currently OPEN on Sunday and Tuesday mornings only - from 9am to 1:30pm.

Experiencia fantástica: They have kids playing area suited for 3yrs and up. Good information about the aircraft. It has improved a lot over the past 2 years. The annual wings and wheels event is a must do.

Experiencia positiva: For what these guys are trying to achieve, you have to take your hat off to them. There is some neat stuff here including a restored ex RNZAF TBF Avenger, Bristol Hercules engine and an airworthy Tiger Moth. The volunteers here are really interesting to talk to with some great stories about the local area and Aviation in general.
