Experiencia positiva: Free with Salzburg pass, it is worth a quick look if you have the time. The main feature is the actual panorama which does have a lot of details. Was interesting to compare with the view from the castle to see what had changed. The paintings displayed were interesting because of the differences in style as much as what they displayed.

Experiencia negativa: No es de extrañar que estuviésemos solos los 20 minutos que pasamos dentro. Son un par de salas y una pintura circular en medio y una serie de cuadros menores alrededor, mayoritariamente de paisajes. El cuadro circular está muy bien técnicamente, pero no aporta nada más. No vale la pena perder el tiempo.

Experiencia fantástica: A short visit that I only decided to do because of the heat outside turned out very well. Entrance for jugend was 2euros and for this you get some nice background information on how Salzburg looked through the years. After that you're treated to a stunning panorama painting of the whole city seen from the fortress hohensalzburg. I very much giving this place a short look especially if you happen to have the Salzburg card or are a student.

Wir wurden auch hingewiesen, dass Sie einen Umbau machen. Durch die SalzburgCard gingen wir trotzdem hinein. Für dass ich für weniger interessant gehalten habe, war es umgekehrt. Gerne wieder.

Experiencia fantástica: Sollte man dort in der Stadt unterwegs sein darf dieses Museum definitiv nicht fehlen, man hat dort einen super Blick auf die Stadt vor mehreren hundert Jahren und das Bild ist einfach imposant und sehr detailliert.

Experiencia negativa: Ich kenne ein ähnliches Museum in Wroclaw (Panorama Raclawicka) - und dieses kann man mit dem Breslauer gar nicht vergleichen.

Experiencia negativa: Was ein Witz, Salzburg zeichnet sich durch vieles aus, besonders dadurch an lang Vergangenem kräftig zu verdienen. Aber das Panorama Museum ist der Knaller. Eintritt bezahlt, Gemälde gesucht, Gemälde war ausserhäusig zur Renovierung, hatte man an der Kasse zufällig zu erwähnen vergessen. Wer Salzburg besucht sollte sich nicht nur auf Phantasiepreise einstellen, sondern auch auf interessante Museen.

Experiencia positiva: Not really a must see when visiting Salzburg. It's a small place with a 360° painting of Salzburg around the year 1900. But don't expect it to be much more. If I wouldn't have had the Salzburg card which grants you free entry to the museum, I would have skipped it. But if you do have the Salzburg card it's definitly an option and you're probably outside again after 10 to 15 minutes.

Experiencia fantástica: Das Sattlerpanorama aus dem Jahr 1825 zeigt detailgenau die Stadt Salzburg von der Festung aus gesehen. Das 25 Meter lange und fast 5 Meter hohe Gemälde wurde perfekt restauriert. Die Präsentation mit optimaler Beleuchtung vermittelt einen eindrucksvollen Rundumblick!

Experiencia fantástica: This small museum can be accessed directly from the square outside via a door by the post office or from the main museum through an interesting underground tunnel. Hint: if visiting the main museum as well, ask for a combined ticket. Even with a Salzburg Card, which includes the entry for both, this will save you time and frustration, especially if coming from the main museum, as there is no option to buy a ticket at the end of the tunnel and the automated gates only allow entry to the correct tickets. The museum itself has s a small display of local views around the edge of the main display, which as the name suggests is a large circular view of the city looking outwards from the centre. The wall painting is very detailed and realistic, there is even a telescope provided to get close up views of the amazing detail. The shop sells a number of cards, some quite large with copies of sections of the panorama. Definitely worth a visit and recommended for children.
