🗣️ Galería Asiática (Toyokan): Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Very good well laid with treasures from all around asia.
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing
Experiencia fantástica: It was beautiful gallery
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful Museum!
Experiencia fantástica: Quite limited antiques from Ancient Egypt.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice Museum with historical information.
Experiencia positiva: Large museum with lots to see, but nothing that blew me away. For me, the coolest piece was probably the mummy (not for the feint of heart).
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museum experiences my partner and I ever had. Wonderfully designed, cleverly presented and with a perfect balance of still exhibits and interactive ones. An absolute must if you're visiting Tokyo!
Experiencia fantástica: A great place to visit if you're in Ueno Park~
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum with a rich collection of Japanese history.
Experiencia fantástica: There's a lot of interesting collection related to cultural and history of Japan and other Asia country. There are several rule you should be aware, so please pay attention for the signs. You can find vending machines and food stalls in average Japan price, so don't worry bout getting hungry. But there are museum shop, you should consider to prepare money not just for the ticket if you don't want to lose chance having their great souvenirs (but I think they accept cards).
Experiencia fantástica: A perfect place to explore the history and culture of Japan, easy to wander more than 2 hours inside.
Experiencia fantástica: The best museum in Tokyo. Must see! A lot of japanese art there! The most interesting exhibition for me was katanas and other traditional japanese blades!
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting collections of all sorts of items. Beautiful artifacts very well laid out
Experiencia fantástica: Great collection of a little bit of everything
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting exhibits.
Experiencia fantástica: The main exhibitions have some amazing pieces of history and culture. If you are a fan of Edo period then this is a must visit!
Experiencia fantástica: Not crowded except for temporary exhibitions. Good exhibition of Japanese and Asian art.
Experiencia fantástica: A place to see if you have more than one week at Tokyo.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice place to spend a day in when it's raining. Fair price and outstanding exhibition.
Experiencia fantástica: Entrance only ¥620, with the history of Japan with China Korea India egyp central Asia and South East Asia
Experiencia fantástica: A collection of great heritages are shown in this museum. It has three buildings, one for Japan and one for Asia (I am not sure about the third one). I spend more than two hours in this museum and only could see one of the buildings patiently. I just scanned the Asia gallery and did not have a change to visit the third building. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know about the history and culture of Japan. But beware of that it needs at least 4 hours.
Experiencia fantástica: Just one word, amazing, an exhibition of portions of earlier Asian civilization, English translations available.
Experiencia fantástica: The presentation of the existing exhibits is world leading. Interestingly, they don’t have many exhibits on display but only a carefully selected few. It makes it much easier to stay focused and keep kids interested.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place if you enjoy asian/Japanese history.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are into museum. Plan at least 3 hours here. A lot to see and appreciat
Experiencia fantástica: Very cool and free for high school students
Experiencia fantástica: So glad we went here totally awesom
Experiencia fantástica: Huge exhibit for Asian art. Collection of Chinese art is formidable. Audio guide tour says 45 mins but expect 1.5 hours to take it all in
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum. Heavily layered so there's a lot to see. Price was about $5-6 USD per person to get access to all the different buildings. Can easily spend a couple of hours here.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place to stay all day long if you really like japanese and asian cultu
Experiencia fantástica: The place where you learn alot about asia
Experiencia fantástica: A quiet, tasteful place to spend an afternoon
Experiencia fantástica: Extremely interesting historical and archaeological museum of civilizations in East Asia.
Experiencia fantástica: Actually the best part of this great museum
Experiencia fantástica: Must see exhibition of Japanese art and historical artifacts
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful place, beautiful facilities, beautiful displays of artifacts.
Experiencia fantástica: A really good museum. Has lots of history about Japan and parts of Asia. Good for families too. Has cafes on sight. Has wheelchair access too.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are Korean and want to visit Tokyo National Museum, I recommend you to visit Toyokan. You can see Korean ancient relics there. Meaningful place for Korean people.
Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoyed the Museum. Diverse collect, inexpensive entrance fee.
Experiencia fantástica: I thought the size would be small similar to most museums so I planned a visit of 30min-1hr. But this is huge and I ended up spending 2+hrs. This is so beautiful museum
Experiencia positiva: Nice museum. The katanas were cool. There was also Chinese and Korean art in the building to the right. There's a nice garden/pond area in the back. Don't miss it :)
Experiencia fantástica: I have to say... the quality of the eastern treasures is simply impressive.... a definitely must s
Experiencia fantástica: I thought this was a great museum. Collections mostly focus on Japanese and Central Asian works (China, India, Korea) and they were great. The buildings and the grounds themselves are also worth a mention. Beautiful to walk around and view in their own right. I also really enjoyed the app for the rooms in one of the collections. Would be great if that worked throughout the whole facility.
Experiencia fantástica: I would say this is the best part of the museum. Great collections from China. But not sure how they got those Buddha statues.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a one of great museum, It is not just for children but is good for every one in Family
Experiencia fantástica: Very very interesting museums. We spent hours looking at everything and eventually ran out of time when they closed. Only made it to the second building. Get there early.
Experiencia fantástica: Very good museum. Displays lots of ancient crafts.
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum for the family. On the days we have been (mid week) it is very empty. Lots to see, I especially liked there ancient swords and history of Japanese theatre. Gift shop us really good for getting gifts and souvenirs.
Experiencia positiva: Huge collection of Japanese relics, as well as some Korean, Chinese, Indian and Egyptian pieces too. Many fascinating historical objects, including almost 2000-year-old swords and armour. A real gem for Japanese history buffs. On the downside, the rich collections were let down by the haphazard curation and fell into the common old-school museum trap of just showing a bunch of great objects on shelves, without presenting the visitor with a clear thread through history, events and culture tying everything together. Also, the layout of the museum is confusing. Upon entry, one does not know where to start in the huge compound of several major buildings, and progress through the exhibitions is not clearly marked.
Experiencia positiva: Museum complex with different buildings. A lot of information to read also in English. They have a reduced price for students (around 420 Yen instead of like 600 Yen). There was a coffee and pizza car on the square in front of the buildings. There are lockers so you can put away your bags. The small lockers required 100 Yen to use but you get your money back.
