🗣️ Museo Ghibli: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: almost brought to happy tears! i love ghibli and while pictures aren’t allowed inside the museum my favourite part was showing Miyazaki’s storyboards! the whole area is beautiful. even for residents it is frustrating to get tickets (Lawson), but apart from this it’s well worth the effort.
Experiencia fantástica: Visited on Public holiday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …
Experiencia fantástica: First time back here in 4 years. Theres definitely more to see as theres an additional exhibit room. I'd advise getting there 10-15 mins before your ticket time amd findinf a spot near by in the shade to wait. You'll have plenty time to look about and make sure you dont miss the door by the cat bus to access the roof garden. No photos are allowed inside the building. Love this rul
Experiencia fantástica: I think this is on of the best experience I’ve had in my life as a Ghibli fan. It was so gratifying and wholesome. The staff was so kind and helpful. Inside the museum everything is so unique and cute. I wish we could take photos of everything, but once you are inside the museum you can’t take photos. But no worries you can buy a book with the map drawn by Hayao Miyazaki. Also you get to go at the cinema and watch one short film in it. The only thing is that the audio was too loud for me. But had the most wonderful time with my family. Everything is so well design and cute. You must make time to go if you are a ghibli fan.
Experiencia fantástica: A must-visit for Ghibli fans!! We were extremely excited to visit this museum! You have to purchase the tickets online and collect them from the konbini. You can take a bus to the museum from Kichijoji station. Was a bit disappointed when they told us there we are not allowed to take pictures indoors. Upon checking in, we were given a small film ticket to view a short movie, which is absolutely cute. We get to keep the ticket as a souvenir. At that period, we watched the film Mei and the Kitten Bus in a small theatre. This short movie is only available for viewing at the museum. Hence it is very worth it. There was so much to look at and everything is so cute and pretty. Absolutely loved the stained glass which was all over the place. We loved how detailed they are with all the decorations. It feels like we went into the movies! It is also very crowded. We wanted to have lunch at the cafe but the queue was crazy! The gift shop was also one of the main highlights cause we spent like $300 at the shop getting gifts. The goods are only available at this museum which makes it unique and good as gifts.
Experiencia fantástica: This little museum is a bit of Ghibli magic tucked away in a park a bit out from the busy tourist areas of Tokyo. We spent just over 1 hour looking at the exhibit and watching a 20 minute short animation in their on-site cinema. The shop has lots of little merch but it is quite small. There is an on-site cafe. No photos are allowed inside the museum. Recommended for existing fans of the Ghibli movies otherwise probably not the most interesting.
Experiencia fantástica: Worth the ticket adrenaline IMHO. If you like Studio Ghibli movies and/or you find animation and creative processes interesting, you'll probably like it. Random but relevant info: - If you buy the ticket online, you'll need a japanese phone number when inputting your personal info. - If you arrive early, I recommend walking from the station to the museum through the park. It's a beautiful and relaxing 20min walk. - If you're an English speaker, know that in every room you can ask the staff for an English brochure so you can actually get the explanations of what you're seeing.
Experiencia fantástica: The best place for a Ghibli fan! So whimsical and cute. I have gone twice and taken my mum and also boyfriend who both enjoyed it even though they aren't Ghibli fans (mum had no idea what Ghibli was). You can't take photos inside but that's what adds to the magic of it, nothing is spoiled. I have seen two exclusive Ghibli films here (15mins each) which have been great. Allow yourself about 3 hours, more if you want to go to the restaurant which is quite busy. I always go outside for a snack, the ice-cream there is amazing.
Experiencia fantástica: Reservation recommended Yes …
Experiencia fantástica: A must-visit for all Ghibli fans and young-at-heart in general. Tickets go on sale on the 10th of each month and are for the next month; you can buy them from any Lawson Loppi machine in Japan, or from Lawson Ticket online from outside Japan. Very reasonably priced. Located in Mitaka which is about 30 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. Because of the visitor limit and prohibition of photography inside, it's never overcrowded with people wielding selfie sticks (at least not inside). Just go, relax, immerse, wonder, enjoy. Well, you can get a nice photo of yourself taken with a sentinel from Laputa!
Experiencia fantástica: Words can’t say Enough to express how sweet and beautiful our experience was during this visit. There is a uplifting SPIRIT to this place! It met all expectations and beyond! Husband and I went with our 3 adults kids (2 are Ghibli fans). We all came away with renewed appreciation, joyful hearts and Thankful for how Mr. Miyazaki’s intentions created a space that connected all our human hearts through art animations, bringing humbled consciousness into the entire visit. From the grounds up, to museum colorful stain glass windows, inside building to roof too and all staff present with warmth service. Everyone was so happy to help make our visit a success. Special Arigato Gozaimasu to Hanna with her help in our purchase at Mama auito store, she was so sweet in helping us and sharing that we had good luck to have purchased last lucky Haku dragon Get ravp tickets well ahead of planned visits. Very affordable price. Get there for 1st group of the day as it does get very crowded as day goes on. The system allows groups in at certain allotted hour. Once you are in, there is no limit to how long you stay. Easy to get to from local train connections with Tokyo main hub. A short 5 minutes bus to drop you off right by museum entrance. Well Organized! No indoor photos! Very strict and close monitoring from staff onsite. Honestly! Put your phone away! You will come away happy having fully immerse into the Ghibli spirits! It brought out the magical child inside us! Wholesome experience. Love love love the entire architecture building and its design blending into nature down to the tiniest details parts. Very glad for the two elevators, one inside main hall, one by the little courtyard. There you’ll also find lockers and stroller storage. Our group separated many times and the elevators was god send for our bad knees and lockers for our tourist bags! We easily spent 3-4 hours with 30mins lunch break at Straw Hat Cafe. Tip: go to the Mamma Auito store first so you don’t miss out on favorite souvenirs. Popular items sells quick.
Experiencia fantástica: Such an incredible place. The museum itself is so beautiful and whimsical. Not photos inside, but that makes it all the more magical (not dealing with influencers blocking every view). Great displays and Information about the process of animation as much as the movies themselves, and so much to see and do. You could take hours pouring over every detail. A small cinema displays different short films on a seasonal schedule, and there is a nice small cafe and gift shop, as standard. If I had one complaint, it would be the militant nature of the person overseeing the catbus soft play area. Other than that, a treat for all ages.
Experiencia fantástica: Recommended to non-ghibili fans too! Need to do online reservation a month earlier on 10th. Remember to print out the QR code and staff will check your passport for enter. Free entry souvenirs are cute. Inside the building taking photos are prohibited. Lots of details on dedoration and interior design. You can also enjoy a short movie inside.
Experiencia fantástica: The Ghibli Museum was great to visit in Tokyo all around the famous studios films and their memorable characters. I hadn't watched a huge number of Ghibli films beforehand but still had a really enjoyable experience. The museum was a combination of how the films were made, showcasing animation techniques but also being an interactive insight into the Ghibli universe. There are several rooms that have different themes as well as outdoor spaces that are interesting to explore. There is also a mini cinema which shows a short film which I'd highly recommend going to (the showings are every 15 mins during the day and it's included in your entry ticket price!). We ended up spending about 2 hours at the museum. There is also a cafe and restaurant as well as a couple of gift shops if you want a souvenir. You need to book tickets online (you can pick them up and pay for them from any Lawson store via the electronic terminals). They do get booked up so try and book a couple of weeks in advance if you can. For 1000 Yen per person, the Ghibli museum is well worth a visit if you're in Tokyo!
Experiencia positiva: It's good for kids and adults too. You can see old Ghibli movies shots. There is a cafe inside with a limited menu. Recommended to take your own food and drinks. You are allowed to eat and drink only in designated place. You can't take pics inside but you are allowed to click pics outside. It's crowded as we visited on weekends. IMP: they check your ID card and name on your tickets. You can get a bus to mitaka station just outside the play area.
Experiencia positiva: It’s an experience for all those who love Ghibli. You MUST buy tickets in advance, either online (which then show up in an app that you have to download, requiring a Japanese phone number, or you can choose to pick up the ticket at a Lawson) or through a Lawson convenience store. The main building is whimsical inside, but no photos are allowed, which is a massive shame. You’re only allowed to take photos outside. Upon entry, you’re provided with one ticket (per person) that features a random clip of a scene from a Ghibli movie (see photo), which you use as a ticket for the mini film theatre inside the main building. The short films are rotated throughout the year, and currently they have 10 short films. There is also a small exhibit that rotates their display. This ensures people return. There is a small cafe to the side of the main building, with a limited menu to satisfy hunger, along with an ice cream stand to one side. There’s nothing on the menu to cater for those with dietary restrictions, so make sure you bring your own food if you do have concerns in this area.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved every bit of this museum. I recommend going during a weekday as it's much less crowded, buy tickets in advance using the Lawson Ticket app online! Admission includes an exclusive short film and the museum is filled with stunning original drawings from Miyazaki. Very much worth the ¥1,000 price. The cafe is pretty average and doesn't have anything special. The gift shop is on the top floor as well as the big cat bus that only small children are allowed to play in. The garden on the roof is the best part cause you can take photos here (no photos allowed inside but anywhere outside is fine)! This place is a must see for any Ghibli fan!
Experiencia positiva: Ghibli Museum was a great experience. You can see how the films were made. We went on the weekend so it was extremely crowded. You will have to buy the tickets a week in advance, and they sold out quickly. You are not allowed to take photos in the museum. The only part I didn't enjoy was it was too crowded with many children running around and screaming, which makes it exhausting to navigate. You can only buy drinks from a cafe if you are thirsty, so I recommend bringing your water bottle with you to the museum.
