Experiencia positiva: The permanent exhibit is only¥430! But it's not that interesting. The special gallery is 3 floors while the permanent is only one floor (4th). Sadly the windows on the 4th floor are covered by construction :(

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice museum, exhibits were beautiful altho we could only see the top once since thet are renovating the rest. Instalations are top and they have free water, lockers, wifi, and even umbrella lockers.

During my visit the exhibits included the permanent collection and a special exhibition of art and design in Vienna. The first floor has lots of space for relaxing and prove watching.

Experiencia fantástica: A very entertaining though concise exhibition. Modern art lovers should definitely taste this, has a very special Japanese flavour to it. Admission was quite cheap (around Y300pp)

Experiencia fantástica: They have the Van Gogh expedition here thru 3/4 so it was nice to see a lot of his work here in one location. Way crowded when the museum opens in the morning. We're talking about at least 3-4 rows of people as you walk to view each painting so best to go in the afternoon. We came out and no line. Enjoy!!!

Experiencia positiva: It's a nice museum where you can find many kinds of exhibitions, mostly modern exhibitions. It has a good view to outside from the fourth floor, and you can see the big gate outside, that's the gate of Heian shrine, one of the most representative shrines in Kyoto.

Experiencia fantástica: This modern art museum hosts 4~6 special exhibitions per year. Focus is often on western Japanese artists.

Experiencia positiva: Their current special exhibition is the VanCleef & Arpels exhibition. It is really nice, would recommend to come and see, spent 3 hours in the whole museum admiring the works. The whole exhibition is probably worth billions. Bring your student card and you will get a discount on the entry tickets.
