🗣️ Museo de Arte KYOCERA de la Ciudad de Kioto: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Dali exhibition! Talk about good timing! 16$ to see everything but the famous works, aka the real bulk of an artists work. Great exhibition.
Experiencia fantástica: This is the first museum I visited in Japan. They have always organized the special exhibition event. It's so valuable to spend time there.
Experiencia fantástica: To see French art up close in this old capital of Japan represents the international power Japan still has - at least on the cultural side of things. Think Van Gogh and Monet being influenced by Japanese art and vice versa…make sure you take time to visit!
Experiencia fantástica: Andy Warhol exposition was very good, a little expensive 2200 but definitely worth it if you love pop art
Experiencia fantástica: Loved the helpful staff, accessibility, exhibit ("History of Kawaii"), shop and the nearby museums and temple.
Experiencia fantástica: Worth to come visit this beautiful plac
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful exhibition hall with amazing overlook of kyoto and beautiful outside garden once you've completed your visit of your favorite artist
Experiencia fantástica: Went for the Botero exhibit. Quite unfortunate that there isn’t an English audio guide however that is common in majority of Japanese museums and galleries. The exhibit was well structured and was a treat to experience
Experiencia fantástica: They have two exhibitions: the permanent one, which varies according to the season, and the featured one. Tickers are sold separately for each exhibition. Nicely curated, short exhibition, great to have a short taste of japanesse art.
Experiencia fantástica: Recently , Chinori Motobayashi published a collection of poems " Chinori - Mermaid in the sea of memory " written in Japanese and English in collaboration with her cousin Madam Ishida and a professional poetess Mariko Sumikura . Michiko Tohiguchi is in charge of illustration . This is composed by Chinori , who has been suffering from the after effects of accident for more than three decades , in which Ms. Sumikura's verses connect to Chinori's poetry . This is a heavy theme . But one thing I can say is that Chinori doesn't spend her time only in moaning . And we can get a courage in this difficult situation with the corona virus pandemic . You can get this on Amazon , Kindle .
Experiencia fantástica: Modern and traditional vibes! Awesome
Experiencia fantástica: Nice exhibition Worth a visit
Experiencia fantástica: Very cool pieces, beautiful building, and a nice cafe!
Experiencia fantástica: The Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art, which is located opposite the Kyoto National Museum of Modern Art across the Otorii of Heian Jingu Shrine, was renovated in May 2020. The Kyocera name comes from the company's 5 billion yen support. Various exhibitions are held from modern art to contemporary art. There are various spaces inside, where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience. Visitors including camera shooters will never get tired of it. At least half a day could be killed if you visit here. Fully equipped with facilities for meals and toilets for the elderly and children.Wheelchair users are also welcome.
Experiencia fantástica: Always so many interesting things to see here. Discount for student. Nice cafe and surroundings.
Experiencia fantástica: Visited on Public holiday Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended Yes …
Experiencia fantástica: Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art
Experiencia fantástica: I was there solely for Andy Warhol’s exhibition. I was really surprised so little people talked about this exhibition. Yes it’s small and the collection was limited. But I’m genuinely amazed by the meticulous attention the curators put into each piece of artwork. The lightings and set up are one that deserved big applause. They helped visitors like me to see every detail of the pieces. I can see canvas, silk print, brushes, gold pieces, brushes, all in the art piece. Thanks to the amazing set up. I can enjoy and appreciate them at close distance. I had been to other Andy Warhol’s exhibitions. This Kyoto exhibition is definitely worth visiting by far. The exhibition runs til 12 Feb 2023.
Experiencia fantástica: A wonderful building, worth appreciating from the airside and from the inside. The special exhibitions are usually expensive, so plan ahead. You may not be able to attend more than one special exhibition per day unless you run through it. Normal exhibitions are usually free and worth of your time. Nearby you'll find other places or interest like the Heian shrine and kyoto museum of photography which are highly recommended.
Experiencia positiva: ¥2,000 per adult ticket to see they Andy Warhol Kyoto exhibit. The exhibit was interesting but very small and not worth the price in my opinion. The museum architecture is beautiful if you're in to that
Experiencia fantástica: The backyard garden is very beautiful.
Experiencia fantástica: The Terracotta Warriors Exhibition was amazing, only doesn’t was good because they don’t have audio with others language. Unique opportunity
Experiencia fantástica: Modern art museum. Great Mable walls able to see inside building.
Experiencia positiva: This is the Kyoto Museum of Art, where Kyocera uses the naming rights of the Kyoto Museum of Art. It has Japanese garden with a wonderful backyard in a very large space. It is located in Heian Shrine. It is a building that feels history.
Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to visit when there are rurouni kenshin exhibition event but it was delayed because of covid 19
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing museum with a renovation project by stararchitect Jun Aoki
Experiencia fantástica: The main building is currently closed due to renovations (until 2019) however my husband and I visited the exhibition currently being held at the annex and were not disappointed. Was a beautiful and very clean space with lovely art pieces and a wonderful exhibit displaying artworks by children in the community. It was very heartwarming to see how Kyoto values creativity and individuality of its young people and was honestly one of the hi-lights of our time in Kyoto.
Experiencia fantástica: We visited this museum during the Renoir exhibit which was very interesting and had pieces borrowed from collections around the world. Very beautiful area and quite affordable visit prices.
