🗣️ Museo de Ciencias de Osaka: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: A lot of cool interactive exhibits and most of the museums description is also displayed in english. Pretty cheap too. The planetarium is big.
Experiencia fantástica: Had a great time here! There are a few exhibits aimed at kids but it was still a really fun experience - very educational. Highly recommend for families with kids, or even couples that are interested in science.
Experiencia fantástica: This museum is for everyone, adults as well as kids. There are so many interactive exhibits you can try out, and most of the exhibits have explanations in English. We only went to the exhibition section but spent about 3 hours there because there was so much to look at. I felt like learnt a lot too - the information given wasn't over-simplified like it sometimes is in some science museums, and the interactive parts of the exhibits reinforced the concepts leading to lots of "oh now I get it!" moments, as well as a sense of awe at some of the counter-intuitive things humans have been able to figure out. It was a great reminder of just how fun and fascinating science can be!
Experiencia fantástica: My son come 1.5 hours before closing. He is really excited until he doesnt want to go home. Next day we visit osaka kids plaza. He prefer this museum more than that. There is still few english explanation. The upper floor is the most interesting fl
Experiencia positiva: The museum has some very interesting and interactive exhibits with quite a few English translations. I think kids would enjoy some of the hands-on exhibits. The planetarium show was decent but a little dull without English translations. A lot of people enjoyed a good nap. ???? Overall, we enjoyed visiting quite a bit.
Experiencia fantástica: A fun science museum with lots of activities that are sure to keep the kids busy. Very few displays in English so will be hard to properly understand without a excellent grasp on the Japanese language due to the technicality of the subject.
Experiencia fantástica: Lots of hands on activities even with many that are currently closed due to COVID19. It's a great place to have some fun out of the heat. I'd highly recommend for anyone of any age.
Experiencia positiva: Fun place to rediscover some awesome science experiments and science history. Not all but many demonstrations have english description. A lot is stuff was closed because of Covid but still a lot to discover. The only problem is to find a decent parking spot
Experiencia fantástica: Various activities & experiments for everyone to learn about science especially the sun & universe, power & energy.
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic booths that makes you realize how everyday phenomena around us work. Appropriate for both kids and adults of all ages. The planetarium was also really good. If you go to Osaka, I highly recommend it!
Experiencia fantástica: Osaka Science Museum is a multi-floor building with many interesting anf interactive exhibits on each floor, focused on astronomy and physical/chemical sciences with some information in English for most exhibits. There's a kids floor for the younger kids with lots of cool activities they can engage with. The museum also has a gift shop, and a planetarium show which I didn't have time to see. Overall, a good educational and engaging experience I can recommend.
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum for kids and adults! The museum entry was around 400¥ and the planetarium 600¥ (or perhaps it was the other way around?). You can do these activities independently of one another so if you just feel like doing one thing, that's fine. Tourists: Bring your passport as there is a discount available (10% from memory?). The planetarium show is around 45vminites long and is presented ONLY in Japanese, but you are informed of this upfront at the ticket office. Though you can kind of work out what's going on. It starts with about 15 minutes exploring constellations in the Osaka night sky, and then they run two of so pre-narrated video shows about various things such as the aurora's. The museum exhibits themselves are great too, we (2 adults - no kids) spent around 3 hours all up (including the planetarium show) and found it fun and informative. Around 30% of the displays have English, though there is a free app which has multiple languages for all displays, so download it from your app store to really see the exhibits to their full potential. A great museum for a great price, good to kill a few hours!
Experiencia fantástica: The Science Museum was a lot of fun. Very interactive and fun to walk through. There were tons of kids as I assume it's a popular student field trip spot. All the kids were having a great time with the interactive displays and they really enjoyed the hands-on learning floor. It's a great place for a family to take your kids. If you dislike being around kids, you should skip this museum.
Experiencia fantástica: 1) Hands on experience on the science exhibition. 2) The entertaining, educational and interactive science show. (The last show at 2PM). 3) Very structured visits program. Start at 4th floor and going down to 1st floor. 4) Discount for foreigner. (Upon showing passport at the ticket counter) >> Recommended.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent hands on science museum. Some really interesting exhibits that I have never seen in any other science museum, like a cloud chamber! Quite small so don’t need much more than an hour. Free with the Osaka Amazing Pass!
Experiencia fantástica: This is the greatest place for science kids. Actually even adults can enjoy themselves as far as they have the positive minds to find scientific things interesting. Fees are very reasonable, children under 12 years old are free! Wow, I can say good job for Osaka City Hall!
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting science and technology museums, although Japanese science and technology museums are all good. There is a lot of interaction and it is displayed in the way of children. It's a pity that the video hall is all in Japanese. Tourists only 320 yen, very cheap. It is recommended to bring your children here.
Experiencia positiva: A great place for young minds to spend a good few hours. All Planetarium shows Are in Japanese, but most of the exhibitions are interactive, and has English explanation of the theory behind it. Almost every thing is interactive and very fun, there over 80 things to play with. It’s 320 yen for adult, Primary school students are free. Very well maintained equipment very worthwhile to go
Experiencia fantástica: Planetarium was very impressive, and if you dont come early (recommended to come at museum open time) the ticket for planetarium will be sold out very soon. There is a corner archiving Japanese Laureate’s work. A lot of fun science equipments, fit for family visit
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing XP for science lovers. Went there with the kids and they enjoyed and learned a lot!
Experiencia fantástica: Very educational and a lot of fun; even for adult tourists (Have detail English descriptions)!
Experiencia fantástica: An interesting museum for students, kids to discover science in a visual way! Even adults find this place fantastic!
Experiencia fantástica: Very entertaining. There are lots of fun demos to try out. Most exhibitions are in Japanese.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place for kids, family. Should spend about two hours here unless you're always wanted to be a marine scientist.
Experiencia fantástica: Good place to visit. Tons of knowledge here. I always visit Museum when visit Japan.
Experiencia fantástica: I went on a rainy long weekend so that the place was packed. However staff were super friendly demonstration was super good for my kids ( 9 years old) . you can be in and out for lunch wothout repaying entrance fee or you can bring in your own food. I can stay all day long , so were my kids.
Experiencia fantástica: This museum is a great place to go. There are so many innovative science exhibitions, such as different elements, physics experiments, and outer space. The exhibitions are great for all ages. My personal favorite is the energy generating treadmill, it lights up a light bulb using the energy you generate on the treadmill, the faster you walk, the more energy you generate, and the brighter the light bulb shine. There are also many intriguing features and exhibitions, such as a spacesuit's material under a microscope, and videos showing the spacesuit cannot be burned or ripped!
Experiencia fantástica: Great science museum, exebition hall and planetarium have to be payed for seperately but definitely worth the money, activities are also in the exebition hall to help teach science and make it fun. The planetarium has time for show on the ticket and the show changes also you have to be ready to go in ten minutes before the show starts as it is very popular and staff tell you to be there ten minutes before. There is also a small gift shop where you can get souvenirs.
Experiencia fantástica: Very good and very nicely organised science museum must see for children's. You can reach by bus from the Osaka station Bus Terminus.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is so cool! There are 4 floors of fun, hand-on science exhibits. Almost every display was interactive. My boys are older and had a blast and we saw much younger kids that were also enjoying themselves. The price is very reasonable as well. We were free because we had the Osaka Amazing pass but the regular price is only 400 yen per adult and ages 15 and under were free! We were trying to hurry here because we had other activities that we had to fit in the day but we still spent 2.5 hours here. If we were not trying to hurry my boys could have easily spent 4 hours going at a leisurely pace. We did not do the planetarium as that cost extra and we knew it would be in Japanese. Unlike other reviewers, we felt that there were a lot of English translations but sometimes they were in much smaller writing or on a different side so they took some effort to find on certain exhibits.
Experiencia fantástica: Some authentic displays, great models for kids, learn about Japanese role in science and tech, although display writings are mostly in japanese I don't think it is a problem.
Experiencia fantástica: love have many activities. Osaka Amazing pass fress, should go!
Experiencia fantástica: Get your hands on science! Only direct encounter can make people to better understand how the things work. And this museum is the place for it. I recommend to spend at least 2 hours for exhibition and another 45 mins for planetarium (in Japanese but the views are stunning even without understanding the language).
Experiencia fantástica: A lot of devices for experiencing science in am interesting way
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place to learn about scientific subjects. Interactive exhibitions and fun experiments with liquid nitrogen. Some English translations are available, but I guess it's even more fun if you are able to speak Japanese.
Experiencia fantástica: A science fair for children and their parents and caregivers, on steroids (it's huge!), as is everything in Japan! Great space for great fun and learning!
Experiencia fantástica: One of the better science museums I’ve been to. Maybe not the newest in terms of technology inside, but there’s a lot of hands on things to try. Excellent for the kids. My 6 year old son loved it.
Experiencia fantástica: There are 4 floors with different theme in each floor. Perfect place for family to spend time in. If you really want to enjoy each and everything in the museum, I suggest to allocate at least half an hour to one hour for each floor. Love the experience. It's included in Osaka Amazing pass!
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum for kids and adults alike. Lots of interactive activities to showcase the many weird and wonderful aspects of science. Not too many stations have an English translation however the concepts are easy to grasp and explain to your kids.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place for science lovers, students and teachers. Only one thing is missing that only few things are in English. But still i respect the Japanese spirit for their language and very helping nature of staff.
Experiencia fantástica: It was surprisingly very entertaining and delightful experience on a very rainy and windy day in Osaka City. Great day activity for both families and couples alike. A lot of Japanese people had gone there with their dates. Some of the science experiments require you to be two people. Three floors of interactive and educating science stuff. Most explanations and descriptions are in Japanese so perhaps not the best if you don't know any Japanese or don't really understand science. They are only open until 5pm so male sure you come about two hours before if you really want to read and experience most of the stuff in there without rushing through it. Bring your university ID with you if you study in the University.
Experiencia fantástica: Definitely one of the best science museums I’ve been to and would definitely recommend for both kids and adults. On top of having a lot of hands-on interactive learning for kids, there’s a lot of exhibits about modern scientific discoveries. The vast majority of the museum is in Japanese, however the English speaking staff happily explains exhibits and answers questions. The 4 floors were definitely worth the ¥600
Experiencia fantástica: Great little museum! Lots of hands-on activities, many of the displays have English translations, good place to bring your kids. The layout of the museum presents a very clear path that proceeds in a pretty logical order. An enjoyable hour or two.
Experiencia fantástica: Many fun and educational demonstrations for all sorts of space, chemistry, physics, electricity etc. related topics. Absolutely worth the ~¥300 entry. Did not try the planetarium as it wasn't available until 2pm, perhaps because the school groups booked it. The ~5 school groups made the visit extremely lively.
Experiencia fantástica: Many hands on core Physics examples. I would recommend for both university level students and young kids. Best place to review your Physics knowledge!
Experiencia fantástica: If you have kids, it will be the best place to explore to your family. Even there wasnot enough english explanations i saw many great stuffs; how electric stations work, what is dna, how much i will weigh in Mars or Jupiter...etc. and the price is 400yen as a 2017 year.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a really nice time in the science museum. You basically review what you learn in school in physics and chemistry with really cool experiments, gadgets and exhibitions. Sadly, most explanations are in japanese, including the narration of the planetarium. If you have already visited a planetarium before, I suggest to skip it, specially if you do not understand japanese.
Experiencia fantástica: Science at it's best, old and new technology changes but the science is intact!
