🗣️ Museo Nacional de Kyushu: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: A very nice and modern museum. It's accessible to everyone because the museum provides many languages. Renting an audio guide is free.
Experiencia fantástica: The museum has an elegant and modern building that exemplifies the merger between history and art. A must see for every fan of history!
Experiencia fantástica: A very modern design museum built on the hill. The exhibition is mainly about how Japanese is evolved and how the culture is influenced by China and West Asia. They have English guide so it is a good place to visit if you are in 太宰府
Experiencia fantástica: Set on the mountain side of Dazaifu. This is an impressive museum worth a visit if your in town. Family friendly with a kids activities corner.
Experiencia fantástica: I was in a workshop of mizuhiki and people was very kind.
Experiencia fantástica: Totally underrated. The 4th floor exhibition is top notch! Could have spend 2h there!
Experiencia fantástica: A good place to see the history of japan
Experiencia positiva: Beautiful building and exhibitions. Large organized spaces and people flow. Interesting exhibits about Pakistani artifacts.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are interrsted in art and history, I would recommend this museum very much. It is one of the biggest museum in Kyushu and contain Japanese culture history and even international cultures.
Experiencia fantástica: A great museum for artifacts and history important to Kyushu and Japan as a whole. All info is offered in English alongside Japanese.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting. There are many explanations in English so you can learn a lot of things ! Plus quite cheap compared to some museum (700¥)
Experiencia fantástica: That is a lot of things to see! Recommended
Experiencia fantástica: Very huge and beautiful. Right now, only one floor is open due to corona but it’s still great! Highly recommend
Experiencia fantástica: Free to enter this museum if you just look around inside.
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic museum with rotating world-class exhibits! Lots of measures being taken for COVID-19 atm, but the upside is that it’s not crowded at all. If you like a leisurely-pace, it’s a great time to visit. Check the online site for current and future exhibits. If you visit here after the shrine, you can take an elaborate escalator system up to the top to get to the museum entrance. Honestly, it’s a fantastic space for art and ancient items on display.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting place!! You have to ride a very long long escalator to go here! Bec this museum is on top of the mountain! For me Its like a different world really.. thats why i like it! I actually just accidentally found it while exploring the temple.. i recommend this place!
Experiencia fantástica: Well worth the price of admission for the main exhibit. It was around $5 if I remember correctly. The film about Inō Tadataka was fascinating and I would recommend watching that before visiting the map room. You will have a greater appreciation for them. Very restricted in what pictures you can take which was nice.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent exhibits, free audio tour information, great explanation of the shared history of Asia in general and Japan specifically throughout the ages.
Experiencia fantástica: Great architecture and small but good exhibition, displaying the history of Kyushu. Student price for 130 JPY.
Experiencia fantástica: The building is designed to look like a tortoise at some angle. It was pre fall when I visited and there were some one to three maple trees that is starting to change colors. There was also this lone tree who some Sakura blooms.
Experiencia fantástica: Have English in everyplace. You can understand the history of Kyushu, Japan and any other countries. I like this museum so much! It is very near to Dazaifu temple!
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum with many interesting things to see. Good for people with low mobility (wide halls, places to sit, and escalator into the premises) but I wasn't able to see whether or not there was elevator access. Staff were friendly and able to answer the few questions I had about the current exhibition. It is clearly signed where photos are and aren't permitted but if in doubt, staff will assist. Audio guide was in English and contained a lot of helpful information. The temple gardens outside are amazing so ensure you allow plenty of time to explore both inside and out!
Experiencia fantástica: Nice place to visit. Closed early at 430pm. Can visit this museum, after the Dazaifu Tenman-gu on the way out. Just walking distance 10min. Have a shopping street on the way to the museum, sell local delicacies and handcraft. Entry fee for 70 years old & above is foc free even for foreigner.
Experiencia fantástica: Wide and spacious, It's beautifully constructed and is very relaxing to stroll at. It's mostly showcasing traditional art more than contemporary, so expect a lot of historical Japanese art.
Experiencia fantástica: Architecture of this place is beautiful. The glass windows reflect the mountains nearby, so much that they had to add lights to prevent birds from flying into it. The museum itself gives a good timeline of the Japan Kyushu area, stemming back from original settlers to more recent trade facts that led the nation to what it is today. There are different language audio guides so you can follow along.
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic exhibit. English audio guide and descriptions on the items make it very easy for non Japanese speakers (also have other languages available). Large, airy, impressive building. Highly recommend a visit.
Experiencia fantástica: There is an area free of charge where you can view some exhibits for the public. Walking distance from Dazaifu station so you can do a day trip from Fukuoka.
Experiencia fantástica: This huge museum has a serene and quite atmosphere with fresh air which is nice and relaxing. Located in the touristy area of Dazaifu, Fukuoka, this museum can be easily spotted from the garden in front of Tenmangu shrine.
Experiencia fantástica: It’s truly an honour to see “The Buddhist Sculptures of Daihō’onji, Kyoto Masterpieces by Kaikei and Jōkei”, an exhibition commemorating the 800th anniversary of Temple’s founding in 2020 with great curatorshop. Make sure you don’t miss the chance to appreciate the architecture of the Museum, characterised by its gently curved structure that blends into the mountainous surroundings. The shop is excellent too.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting place to discover history and culture of Japan. It is very near to Dazaifu tenmangu shrine. So the natural scenery of the sorrounding is also very beautiful. If you are in Fukuoka Dazaifu tenmangu shrine and Kyushu national museum is a must visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Big museum with many artifacts from Asia and Japan. The special exhibitions are always worth going to. Kofukuji and Daigoji exhibitions were great!!! If your visiting Fukuoka with a trip to Dazaifu go to this museum.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice museum, gives a good idea of Japan's history with quite a few artifacts. The bigger panels have explanations in English.
Experiencia fantástica: Awesome museum with a Japanese perspective. All facets about the museum screams Japanese quality and fantastic storytelling through their pieces.
Experiencia fantástica: So much to see, you will need to spare at least 2 hours and if you want to have detail look, spare even longer time! Big portion is related to the China and Japan culture exchange on the early era, another part is Buddhism culture related stuff, if you aren't into these areas, I suggest go elsewhere and don't waste your time here.
Experiencia fantástica: Need entrance fee. The neon lights tunnel reaching the museum worth for a visit. So many sakura trees in front of the museum。We are lucky to meet the cherry blossoms. Took many good pictures.
Experiencia fantástica: Very huge museum with lots of things to see, must visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Just getting to this place is already an exciting adventure by riding the science fiction style escalator up this endless tunnel with neon lights on the side. One thing having been said, you cannot rush through this museum as it holds so many things to see and read about with free audio headphones. One large bit focuses on the relation between Kyushu and China with another one focusing on the introduction of Buddhism and the different teachings common in Kyushu. The architecture of the museum is also worth seeing with nice additional pond and park arrangements surrounding this beautiful museum.
Experiencia fantástica: The most beautiful museum I have ever been so far. The lighting, the collections were arranged beautifully. Most of them had English description, if you are a museum junkie, be sure to rent the English audio museum guide (for free!). Sometimes they have a small event, when I went there, they had a small exhibition about ASIA Countries and also, they have special exhibition (which required more expensive ticket, but I am sure it's worth it!). No photo is allowed inside the museum (collection room).
Experiencia fantástica: It's worth visiting the museum located on the top of the mountain, back side of Dazaifu Shrine. The long escalator leads you to the entrance.
Experiencia fantástica: The museum is gorgeous and the exhibits really interesting. Sadly, there isn't enough to see for such a huge building! I guess I can't remove a start for this, as quality is better than quantity! Nice view from the top of the hill.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting architecture. Good exhibitions. Very close from Dazaifu shrine.
Experiencia fantástica: Make this part of your must see list of Fukuoka. The sheer size will surprise you. The journey up the impressive escalator is followed by a colorful moving sidewalk. The permanent East Asian collection is hands on, perfect for kids, and best of all, free. This museum houses many exhibits specific to Kyushu but its modern design rivals that of more famous buildings around the world. Definitely worth the trip (along with nearby Dazaifu Shrine).
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful setting for this amazing museum with plenty of English including an audio guide. Great train trip from Fukuoka as well.
Experiencia fantástica: Newly built, I can rent an audio guide for f
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent English language volunteer guide on Sunday afternoon who pointed out incredible details. Also told us about other opportunities if we revisit so another reason to return.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a must see Japanese museum. The quality of the art collection is first rate and includes art from a number of Asian countries. The museum itself is stunning and easy to visit. You can easily spend three hours enjoying the beautiful collections exhibited. The museum also has special exhibits but reservations are usually necessary and may still involve quite a lengthy waiting in line.
