🗣️ Museo de Arte Adachi: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful,
Experiencia fantástica: The Adachi Japanese Gardens and Art Museum is an unmissable experience. Voted the top Japanese garden 18 years in a row, we were there as it was snowing!! It literally brought tears to my eyes - so beautiful. The enormous glass windows looking onto the gardens must be museum-grade glass as there are no reflections. You can't walk into the gardens, but there are many areas where you can view the scenes without glass. There are also a number of art galleries for Japanese art - both painting and ceramics - glorious. There are a number of restaurants and an excellent gift shop. Next time (and there'll definitely be a next time) I'll stay for longer. One morning was not long enough.
Experiencia fantástica: Must see, absolutely gorgeous garden - museum also contains a large variety of masterpiece paintings (with accompanying detailed English descriptions!)
Experiencia fantástica: Adachi Museum of Art was a sensory overload and well worth visiting on out 30th anniversary trip. The garden is so well maintained and lovely, you can see why it wins awards, and the Takeuchi Seiho retrospective, the Waterscapes exhibit and the Rosanjin hall all were such a pleasure to get to view up close. Just go, you won’t be disappointed!
Experiencia fantástica: What a great museum. A museum of Japanese garden and Japanese paintings. You can take shuttle bus from Yasugi station for free. Well organized so easy to explore. Moreover, a good place to know about Yokoyama Taikan, a famous Japanese painter.
Experiencia fantástica: I recognized the true combination of architecture with the environmental aesthetic value of this museum. Furthermore, this is a unique illustration of the need to focus on the aesthetic environment of a museum beyond objects.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best experiences for me in Japan. Highly recommended that you visit this place if you like visiting art galleries . If not please don't visit. It's a good at least 4 hour commitment.
Experiencia fantástica: I have never before or since been so moved by a landscape that it has nearly made me weep. Viewing the gardens from various points in the gallery offers ever changing perspective as you move through the building, and every one so considered and different that it is worth stopping to take it all in, every view is perfect and a brilliant example of the Japanese gardening tradition. I sat for hours just looking, utterly sublime. There is also some art on the walls.
Experiencia fantástica: Very beautiful! The garden is amazing and peaceful, and all their exhibits are very interesting (especially their special Oct 2021 one). Sadly, we can't take pictures of most of their items on display. Staff is super friendly and helpful
Experiencia fantástica: Fabulous place to visit for Japanese traditional garden
Experiencia fantástica: Visiting these gardens was like medicine for my soul. Time folded in on itself the deeper I wandered into here. I felt the stress leaving my body as it was replaced by a calm serenity and solace. It is easy to see why this is rated as the no. 1 Japanese garden in Japan.
Experiencia fantástica: The garden did not disappoint, every bit as beautiful as they say. We had a lot of fun at the cafe that overlooked the garden as well. Highly recommended if you’re in Matsue area!
Experiencia fantástica: I went at the end of December. A few days before it started to snow. The garden is quite unique to this area. It is different from the one in kanazawa and kyoto. The painting collection is master class. I enjoyed the painting more.
Experiencia fantástica: Breathtaking Japanese garden which was rated first for 18 years straight. There is also a museum with Japanese paintings but I guess everyone came for the garden.
Experiencia fantástica: It took a few hours to get here, was it worth it to spend less time to look thru glasses of this beautifully manicured picturistic garden? The answer is yes if you treat this as art and consider the amount of details and careful work that goes into it by so many people. Each season is different. Though man made, it was so artistic, peaceful and calming. Spring and fall are the best time to visit. Try to spend some quality time in the cafe to enjoy!
Experiencia fantástica: The art museum that keeps on giving. The whole place is built like a Japanese garden as you turn around the corner and find yet more beautiful art. It is also surrounded by a Japanese garden that blends in with the scenic mountains in the distance. The exhibits today showed many scrolls of birds, trees and flowers along with artistic canvases and huge screens of Mt. Fuji and other sights in Japan that were made in the Showa and Taisho periods. There were maki-e gold inlaid boxes and even a whole cabinet. I want to examine the detail more closely. The ceramics collection was small yet charming. When you get to the gift shop, it’s not the end. Keep following the arrows and you can see huge modern paintings that are quite stunning, too. And then go upstairs and there are more. These were my favorite of the modern collection. For transportation, get to the Yasugi JR station and then you will find a free shuttle bus to the museum. Make sure to get a time ticket at the museum for when you plan to return on the bus (for crowd-control). Google maps did not show me this route, but you can find the information on the Adach Museum website. Worth the visit even though it took my whole morning starting from Matsue station. Plus foreigners currently get discount tickets to the exhibits, like most the tourists site in Matsue. Note: I spent about 1 hour 15 minutes wandering the halls. Would have liked to spend more time, but I didn’t know when it would end, and I had to get to my next destinations
Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommended. Don't pass it off because it's out of the way from central matsue. Very beautiful Japanese gardens. Unlike others where you walk in, this you will admire from behind windows and behind fences.
Experiencia fantástica: Very beautiful garden. You need to follow the visitor trail to enjoy the beautiful view, cannot get inside since it will break the plants. Photos are allowed for take in the garden, but not allowed to take photos of the exhibition in the art museum
Experiencia fantástica: A must go if you love Japanese garden. With excellent view to the garden, it is so relaxed to have a cup of coffee at the cafe inside the museum. Highly recommended.
Experiencia fantástica: Very lovely museum! Great balance of scenery and paintings.
Experiencia fantástica: The photos don't really do it justice. This place is beautiful. Admission is a bit pricey, but bring your passport, and you get half off. Nice cafes inside, again, a little pricey, but totally worth it.
Experiencia fantástica: A must go if you’re in Tottori Yonago area! Pictures can do justice to seeing the place with your own eyes! At least 2 hours is required, especially of you’re into art. Went on early November morning weekend and there are tour buses but not too crowded. Getting there is a bit tricky, we drove there and it took us about 30mins from Yonago station
Experiencia fantástica: Really beautiful Japanese Garden. The exhibitions are good as well.
Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed an amazing exhibition of paintings by Yokohama Taikan, who I didn’t know (but what do I know). The gardens are also very beautiful, but since we can walk in them, it would be impossible for me to say that they are the most beautiful ones.
Experiencia fantástica: The garden is the real piece of art there. Even if it rains, you can enjoy the visit since the garden is made to be seen from different point of view on the inside of the building. Do not forget to say that you are a foreigner since it offers you a 50% discount. From Matsue, take the JR to Yasugi station and then the free shuttle bus (you can see the schedule on the website, which has a good english version)
Experiencia fantástica: One of Most Beautiful Japanese Garden I visited in Japan - free shuttle to Museum from Yasugi Station. 50% discount entrance fee for Foreigners - just show your passport. Well worth a visit. Highly Recommended if u like Japanese style gardens - immaculate with style Love to come back in autumn time
Experiencia fantástica: We loved visiting the museum. The indoor outdoor space is beautifully crafted for the visitor to experience both art and the magical gardens. The gardens are not accessible but can be viewed from different angles. The museum store is worth a stop as well.
Experiencia fantástica: An amazing place which is worth the effort of traveling there. The garden is of course extraordinary beautiful, but the museum should not be overlooked. It exhibits classic masterpieces and also modern paintings. My day at the Adachi museum was definitely a wonderful one.
Experiencia fantástica: Never been a real garden fan or something. I do like gardens, but this garden was indeed something special. Just made me feel relax. If you are in the neighbourhood i would recommend passing by. The café midori had a nice view of the garden with good latte matcha and icecream. Nice extra is that you get a nice discount as a foreigner. Only had to pay a bit over 1000¥ for the entry
Experiencia fantástica: Most beautiful garden I have ever been to. Simply serene and peaceful.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful sort. The garden is fabulous. How anyone can say not, is a little difficult to believe. The garden is built around the museum, to match the surrounding landscape. You can view it from inside, but also from points outside. However, you cannot enter/walk on the stones etc - when you go and see it, you will not want to. The present exhibition that I saw, matching working by Yokoyama Taikan with other artists' works was really well done and interesting. But I only had enough time to scout around. To relax a little more and have tea/coffee in this wonderful place would have been great. Some pictures attached.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful garden, but disappointed that we couldn't walk around in it. You can only view it from the museum.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a modern art museum which is not really my thing and the art work was nothing special although that may just be a personal opinion, I have appreciated modern art previously and the art work here didn't sadly inspire me. However I have given five stars as the gardens are so beautiful and breath taking, need to visit to fully appreciate, also only 500Y entry fee. The museum also has quite a nice gift shop. Overall worth a visit if your in the area.
Experiencia fantástica: Admission fee is 50% off for foreigners. There are many Japanese paintings, I spent about 2.5 hours. Shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes, check the timetable.
Experiencia fantástica: You need at least two hours to enjoy the whole area. The Japanese garden is really well worth the award they have received for 16 consecutive years as number one Japanese garden. We went in end of July which is summer. The garden is lush green with nice settings and forms. Don’t miss this place if you are in the area.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful garden, also true to the exhibition, relaxed atmosphere.
Experiencia fantástica: The Adachi Museum of Art was founded by Adachi Zenko. You can enjoy Japanese arts together with garden at the same time. Their awarded winning garden looks like Masterpiece of Art when loooking through windows. If you love Art and Garden, this is a place !
Experiencia fantástica: A beautiful garden with lots to see. If you love nature in general, do visit this exquisite place, no wonder it's won 1st place in Best Japanese garden for 15 years straight. Well worth the price and a trip I went here as a day trip from Kyoto and the train ride itself is great. There is a free shuttle bus from the nearest JR station. Lots of souvenirs you can buy, people are friendly and helpful and the art gallery is awesome. Perfect for a day trip as not that many people come here. Come early!
Experiencia fantástica: A gorgeous classical Japanese garden with borrowed scenery, which you view from various points in the museum - plus a spectacular selection of traditional Japanese paintings, as well as an annex of contemporary paintings and a small ceramics collection. Well worth a side-trip to visit!
Experiencia fantástica: I've been to quite a few gardens and this ranks among the best. It's crafted to look unique in each season. Highly recommend if you come to this region.
Experiencia fantástica: The gardens are the real museum, carefully thought out by a locally born man it is considered one of the best gardens in Japan in all four seasons.
Experiencia fantástica: Very beautiful garden and great arts. We strongly recommend this museum to foreigners because it is quite Japanese!
