Experiencia fantástica: 縮景園でボランティアガイドをしています。最初の縮景園の模型と、以前園内に安置されていた十王像が、一階に展示されています。必見です。

Experiencia fantástica: 川瀬巴水の特設展、あまりにも広すぎ＋解説が丁寧すぎる。それに加えて常設展？もボリューム半端ない、満足度すごい。2時間半でも足りなかった。 ただ17時ちょうどに閉めてやんよ！感が強すぎて地元(京都)の美術館とのギャップが恐ろしくもありましたが…せめて物販のお会計は17時すぎても良くないすか。選んでる最中だったのでびっくりしたよ。

Experiencia fantástica: At the moment they have a wonderful exhibition of the famous woodblock print artist Kawase Hasui. This exhibition will last until Sunday June 11 2023. It shows most of his original works. Anyone that likes this art should go. It’s probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was there for hours and I enjoyed every minute of it. In the museum shop you can buy a book with more than 200 of these prints. At a very reasonable price.

Experiencia fantástica: The 69th Japan Traditional Kogei Arts and Craft Exhibition is currently on until 5 March. The exhibition showcases modern interpretations of established ‘kogei’ traditions by emerging artists. The exhibits are exquisite - from ceramics, woodwork, kimonos, basketry, pottery etc. There is also an audio-visual presentation of older artisans showcasing their skills and mentoring younger artists. Japan has several thousand museums - many are famous and have big shows. I find the smaller prefectural museums and galleries put on smaller but equally impressive and important exhibitions that keep cultural traditions alive, vibrant and contemporary. Well worth the Y700 entry fee.

Experiencia fantástica: Brilliant and world class museum. Surprised to see the master piece of Dali and other global artists here, while appreciate other Japanese and Hiroshima prefecture artists with work about the tragedy here. The 8:15am by Ay-o was really striking to me, visually and the emotion it evoked as well as the details of a normal life were depicted in the artwork under the impact of the tragedy yet a rose still managed to bloom, representing love, hope and a new beginning, as least from my personal take. You will also find little corner with breathtaking view of the nature and view. Love the place to bits.

Experiencia fantástica: ひさしぶりの広島滞在で、この美術館を訪問しました。安野光雅さんの展覧会を見ました。最近よくある最上階にメインの展示室があり、エスカレーターやエレベーターで向かいます。広くて、静かでいい時間を過ごせました。安野光雅さんの作品もすばらしく満足でしたが、この美術館の展示スペースがとてもよかったと思います。アクセスは駅からはそれほど遠くはなく、路面電車やバスでも便利な立地です。また機会があれば是非訪問して、コレクションも鑑賞したいですね。ぜひ一度訪問されることを強くお薦めします。

Experiencia fantástica: 今はバンクシー展をしています。カメラ撮影も可能で、ゆっくりと芸術に触れることができます。入場制限があり、好きな時間に入れないので事前に調べて行かれた方が待ち時間が少なくて良いです。当日券も購入可能ですが、時間指定のチケットを持ってると1番最初に案内してくれます。また帰りにはグッズ販売もたくさんありました。

Experiencia fantástica: ダリのヴィーナスの夢が所蔵品だったとは! 中央アジアの装飾品コレクションも有名だそうです。漫画家の森薫の色紙が、その所蔵品と一緒に見れたのが感激。 縮景園が見える休憩室もいい感じ。

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing displays - both the special show and the regular - and a lovely garden. Sadly pictures are not allowed, but well worth the visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Was not expecting much but this museum really delivers! It has a little of everything but the kicker is the Shukkei-en gardens which is included in the admission. The collection is very tasteful and the garden combined to make a peaceful and fulfilling visit. If you are a senior, the admission is free and they even give you a coupon for a discount in the tea garden.

Experiencia fantástica: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the different exhibition options. ( They even helped me with directions to the visitor bus stop!) The main floor, gift shop and cafe are very welcoming, even if you don't have time to explore the museum. I hope to return in the future for a longer visit, thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful building full of attractions and exhibits year round. We attended a Kagura show and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended going for their Kagura. It has subtitles, a Q&A after and a photo OP with the performers. Great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: The permanent exhibition features works by artists who represent Schulleurim.Max Ernst is impressive. The exhibition covered the works and history of Mizuki Shigeru. The inside of the building was very cool, there was a locker room, a multipurpose toilet, and we could drink water. There were many sofa, works were voluminous, but I think we can see everything if you take a break. It's about 15 minutes' walk from Hachioji Station.

Experiencia positiva: This small museum has a diverse collection of modern and traditional art. We didn't have much time, so the small size was perfect for us. Allow about an hour for this museum.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazed by the calibre of artist exhibited: Dali, Picasso, Klee, Magrite, Moro, Kandinsky amongst others. The building itself is very well designed and was very peaceful when we visited. The Shukkei-en gardens are accessible through the museum with a joint ticket are beautiful. Well worth a visit!

Experiencia fantástica: We went to an M C Escher exhibit which was fantastic. Not sure if worth going if you aren't going for a specific exhibit though. Gardens are lovely too and worth a trip round... Lots of big carp being fed by an unusual bridge.
