🗣️ Museo al Aire Libre de Hakone: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museums I visited here in Japan. Enjoyed arts and nature at the same time. Visited during the Summer vacation so there are many kids who are enjoying the place. The entrance fee was 1600 yen for adults but got a discount of 200 yen because we purchased a Hakone pass.
Experiencia fantástica: Definite highlight if you like modern sculpture. Amazing collection, beautifully curated so you keep discovering as you wander.
Experiencia fantástica: The experience at Hakone Open air museum was wonderful. But it's better to go there during fall because during summer it's just too hot .
Experiencia fantástica: The most spectacular and thoughtfully curated art gallery in a breathtaking setting. The the beauty of the giant sculptures is enhanced by the sheer natural beauty of the surroundings. The additional treat are the exhibits in the Picasso pavilion. The must see if going to view Mount Fuji.
Experiencia fantástica: It is a very beautiful place I totally loved it. The museum also has a lavetory and snacks store inside. Just at the exit there is a restaurant with a beautiful view and souvenir stores. Be careful of the parking fee though it gets expensive after 3 hours.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museums ever!!! Very cool and amazing modern art and pieces. The garden is beautiful too. It is like entering a utopic world of peace, tranquillity and beauty
Experiencia fantástica: Must see for art lovers. It features a museum dedicated to Picasso's works. You could really spend the whole day here. The are some kid-friendly areas too with interactive activities for the kids. I enjoyed the most the open air setup so you can stroll at your own pace and enjoy the fresh air!
Experiencia fantástica: This place exceeded my expectations! We spent way longer than expected and enjoyed the hot foot bath there because our feet were hurting so much. Such a lovely space! Loved all the art, sculptures, stained glass, and Picasso pieces. Definitely definitely a must see.
Experiencia fantástica: The reason this place is really nice is because you can take your kids to museum but you don't have to be too worried about making them quiet. As long as it's a nice weather, you can basically spend the whole day slowly walking around, and let your kids run around. All the sculptures and the art is also dynamic and is in harmony with the nature. You cannot get proper food there as there's only hot dog that can be counted as food. He brought small sandwiches for our kids.
Experiencia fantástica: This one’s a must visit, for all those who are a fan of sculptures in wide open space; there is just a feeling of quiet awe. Serene sculptures soaked in sunrays & surrounded by undulating hills and mountain sides. There is a great little Picasso collection, as well as sculptures throughout the museum as you wander around and enjoy the brisk winter weather in full sunshine. I pulled out the big camera equipment for this day out, and it didn’t disappoint! If you are interested in landscape or object photography you’ll find endless opportunities to ply your craft here. After exhausting my shooting energy, I found myself gravitating towards the much needed foot spa; you buy a towel and then sit yourself down at one of the available spots and enjoy the warm water as it relaxes and soothes your weary feet; in front of you are individuals wending their way towards their own inspiration. I really wish we’d had more time to spend in Hakone. I’d recommend leaving very early if you are coming from Tokyo; as the romance car express is about 90 mins; and then you have other transportation options which sap your limited time once you arrive (remember you also have to get back). Also - if you feel like a coffee skip the cafe and get the Tomoyose truck coffee, it was way better!
Experiencia fantástica: Well worth a visit. Large lockers for suitcases, 100 to use but you get your coin back. Has wifi and the area.
Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing way to experience art and nature. I was really impressed by the way they've structured and displayed so many any pieces. From various artists using a range of materials. This is definitely a great way to spend an afternoon.
Experiencia fantástica: An absolute must while in Hakone! Very diverse artworks and the grounds are beautifully maintained. With all the outdoor sculptures and the Picasso Museum, you can easily spend a few hours here. Family-friendly too!
Experiencia fantástica: Just a beautiful and peaceful place to spend the day on you own as an art lover or enjoying a leisurely time with the family. The open air provides entertainment for kids and some really nice art. In addition, the feel of the place is very zen and relaxing
Experiencia fantástica: Great exhibition of different artists from the world that fits perfectly into the landscape. I loved the Picasso part, though photography was not allowed. 2 hours is okay to visit all parts
Experiencia fantástica: Must visit on your way through Hakone area. Beautiful, large open-air art sculpture museum. Not crowded on a weekday especially in the morning. Get off the train at Chokokunomori station and it's a 3 minute walk to the museum. I spent 2 hours there.
Experiencia fantástica: Really great experience to walk around on a sunny day. Loved the make area with the Koi fish. The only downside were too many children which made it feel a bit like public kids park.
Experiencia fantástica: One of Japan's most famous museums. the best sculptures and gardens in the area. Excellent collection of artwork. Also, the environment's architecture engages you
Experiencia fantástica: I wish we had more time here. I would allow at least 2 hours or more. The garden itself is a work.of art but there is so much to look at and do. Even the kids will like this one.
Experiencia fantástica: I loved this place! We went on a sunny but windy day in April. The museum has a lot of sculptures and in general the whole place was clean and tidy. I would go there again landscape and mountains around are beautiful as well
Experiencia fantástica: A must to visit. Truly fun imaginative well documented for the large pieces of art displayed from art from around the world. A great way to spend a half day at let. Do do the tower and its amazing panes of glass.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely stunning place with outdoor sculptures, art pieces & etc. Free outdoor foot bath. Bring either your own towel or pay 100 yen for one. No photography for indoor art exhibition, only for outdoors. Overall, fun & educational experience.
Experiencia positiva: It is a nice place to pay a visit, but there is only one play ground for kids. And the toilet near the play ground is totally old and not clean. However, the Picasso’s art works are pretty, and the art works outside are really beautiful. Personal recommend: ★ ★ ★ Family-friendly: ★ ★ ★ Date for couples: ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking lot: ◯ 500 yen for 5 hours Services/meals/products/design: ★ ★ ★ ★ Period for stay: 2 hours Charge: adults 1,600 yen per person kids, free Baby room/accessible toilet: ◯ Cleanness: ★ ★
Experiencia fantástica: Great exhibition of different artists that fits perfectly into the landscape. Very varied and entertaining. Many exhibits can be experienced directly, they may be touched or walked through. Especially suitable for children of all ages. At different times of the year you get different impressions.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful open air museum set in an incredible mountain backdrop. Lots of awesome sculptures including some interactive ones that kids can play on. There’s also an awesome indoor Picasso exhibit with 300 works (no photos allowed). Quite a bit of walking, so something to keep in mind if you’re differently able, although there are ramps which is good. Worth noting is the gift store - one of the most unique I’ve seen, so bring some spending money for that!
