🗣️ Museo del Vidrio Veneciano de Hakone (Bosque de Vidrio): Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: This is a definite return. Such an amazing gem in the middle of the forest. Literally. They only take cash, so make sure you bring yen. There are no atms nearby. The inside is something straigh out of alice in wonderland. The glass bridge, the sun shinning off the glass trees. Everything just perfect.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful place. Also there is a live music show!
Experiencia fantástica: If u like glass. This is the place for you.
Experiencia fantástica: Visited on Public holiday …
Experiencia fantástica: Surprisingly, this place is not as pretentious as it makes out to be. Lots of family friendly activities and beautiful glass sculptures all over the place. A nice cafe that sometimes has live music. Big parking lot. Lots of places to sit while your kid roams around.
Experiencia fantástica: Small space but big beauty, must see during a sunny day
Experiencia fantástica: Good . Very nic
Experiencia fantástica: Small but really cool. We enjoyed it a lot and it was worth the short bus ride from gora.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful atmosphere. My 9 year old and I had a great afternoon exploring and looking at all the beautiful glass artwork
Experiencia fantástica: If you love anything that sparkles, then this place is for you. The entrance fee is 1500 yen.
Experiencia positiva: It is hard to capture the shunning lights by a camera but it is really amazing while you see the scene by your own eyes. A place for lunch or some food while visiting the area. Bus access is very convenient. You can also spend times seeing the exhibits indoors.
Experiencia positiva: There’s a lot of information of how’s artworks made, and some more intro on techniques and processes. Quite a wide range of masterpieces can be previewed, ranging from 15th century to modern glass-making art-pieces, most of them obviously are originated from Venetian / European artists, and of course Japanese artists, too. We bought ¥2k per special ticket of which ¥500 coupon is embedded and can be spent on the same date, versus normal adult ticket at ¥1800 each. Personally such ¥1k worth of coupon (2 people) couldn’t really “assist” to get something nice and memorable. For whoever would like to join the workshop, please note that collection of your works will not be immediately available, so make sure you leave sufficient time and plan ahead!
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic little escape nestled in the hills of Hakone. If you go for the Venetian crafts, there's a labyrinth of glass exhibitions of all ages and varying history and importance. In addition, you can be guided by experienced glass makers in learning how to craft glassworks of your own. If you would just like an escape, the atmosphere, architectural and themed detail are quite unique and worth a visit. Then there's the food and live performances at the restaurant to really transport you somewhere special. Glad I visited. Hope you enjoy it too.
Experiencia fantástica: The architecture is amazing, there is a lot to see, it's very charming place. The shops are part of the visit as they have so many beautiful thing to see.
Experiencia fantástica: This is Japan’s first art museum specializing in Venetian glass, and exhibits works from the fifteenth to nineteenth centuries and also modern pieces. The pond on the grounds is in between the Venetian Glass Museum and the Modern Glass Museum where you can appreciate delicate glass crafts at each respective museum. Its medieval Venice-inspired garden also has spots where you can take photos. Listen carefully to the live canzone (Italian song) performances held every day while gazing at the scenery from the café restaurant on the grounds and you’re sure to find yourself feeling elegant. They also hold glasswork workshops, making this a spot you can enjoy all day long.
Experiencia fantástica: That a place where you enjoy your time alone or with a family. Additionally, the place is enjoyable in the morning as well as during the night time. The constructions built with glasses is amazing both indoor and outdoor. Even thought the museum considered to be a bit small in size but it is an advantage in my opinion.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is literally the definition of magnificence and beauty!! I recommend you to visit here when the weather is clear.
Experiencia fantástica: Very beautiful and romantic ❤️❤️ i love it
Experiencia positiva: A nice, elegant, beautiful museum. If you like shiny objects and glitters, you will love this place in Hakone. There is also a restaurant inside, but it was very crowded. I enjoyed window shopping the great variety of objects on display. There was also a bell for lovers so I think this is a nice place to bring a date, specially if you are both young.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely gorgeous! I went with a small group of people and we took some great photos and had a good time walking around the museum. The sights are beautiful, and the entry fee is extremely affordable. There's places to eat, relax, and simply enjoy the views as well. Loved every second of this place, bring your cameras!
Experiencia fantástica: Very impressive glass art work from Venice and other countries and Italian food! The gift shop has many beautiful jewelries and decorations.
Experiencia fantástica: Best to go on a cloud free day, to really get the sparkle. The gift shop is practically a display as well! We particularly loves seeing the chihuly exhibit. Start at the correct direction and if you think you want to make a keepsake, go there first. Though they don't give you any trouble if you come back just to pick it up. Lots of information in english and japanese, very nice change from other museums I have been in here. Cherry blossoms were finishing up the last week of March 2021, azaleas are starting and the hydrangea are just begining to grow leaves. The hydrangea season would make the lower section really impressive but now in early spring it's just sticks. My kids and husband enjoyed it as well.
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing museum!! Such beautiful pieces and the restaurants are amazing!!
Experiencia fantástica: An amazing experience. The Museum leading up to the shop is so beautiful. Not to mention the little area where you can pizza and drinks.
Experiencia fantástica: Super cosy and a wonderful experience of a something you wouldn't expect. Costume hire and dress up if that's your thing that looks great and amazing glass pieces all around the garden.
Experiencia fantástica: It’s an artistic place that worth to spend half day here. Great to see lots of Picasso’s work here. First time to see big pieces of fascinating glass artwork are displayed in open air that blended with natural sunlight.
Experiencia fantástica: I visited here last October with my boyfriend. It was our two year anniversary and just days after Typhoon Hagibis so almost nothing was open due to the aftermath. We decided to go for a walk to explore and came across this museum. It was overcast and rainy, but everything looked so beautiful. We had lunch in the restaurant, it was also very good, and listened to live music. It was one of our favourite memories from our trip! Would highly recommend visiting. :)
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum! Has a lovely little cafe, we enjoyed our desserts and coffees.
Experiencia fantástica: Great, it's very wet, so good to stay dry with some interesting sculptures to look at. A huge shop with some huge prices. It would be fantastic on nice day to explore outside glass sculptures.
Experiencia fantástica: If you plan to visit Japan, Hakone Venetian glass museum would be one of the best place to enjoy scenery that I would recommend to you.
Experiencia fantástica: Well worth a visit. Beautiful. Stunning Venetian glass everywhere, amazing art. Restaurant was ok, but food is overpriced and ordinary.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are interested in seeing the natural beauty of japan, must visit Hakon
Experiencia fantástica: Superb place. Bus stop is just in front of the museum. How it’s made is explained very well. Too good collection. Store have good variety of stuff for sale. Cafes are good. You can do hands on projects . The glass tree like structure in the middle of the water body is just wow!!! Kids friendly place.
Experiencia fantástica: Many beautiful pieces in the main hall and in the garden. Music performances( Italian song singing and violin solo) are scheduled accordingly in the restaurant: Le Canzone and the main hall.
Experiencia fantástica: This museum had some stunning glass pieces and would highly recommend a visit, I didn't capture too many photos of the glass but there are plenty and a lot of nicely finished grounds to explore including a ravine. It is one of the more pricy places to visit but worth the price!
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful artworks. 200yen off per person at the gate if you got the hakone 3 day pass.
Experiencia fantástica: Awesome display of the glass work present here. Definitely worth the visit. I went there twice. Pleasure to the eyes.
Experiencia fantástica: We loved this place! A little cheesy but also beautiful! The crystal trees are just amazing. Don’t plan to eat here tho as it’s whole place is quite small and even if it’s moderately busy, the restaurant will book up quickly. The gift shop has a vaaaast array of things to buy but also just to look at. It’s about NZD17 each and well worth it.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful. Lots of beautiful art to see inside and out. Go on a nice sunny day to enjoy the outdoor portion to the fullest
Experiencia fantástica: It's alright, just many stuff made of glass lol. Restaurant inside is decent as well..
Experiencia fantástica: Stunning museum with a wide variety of glass examples. Like being in Venice. There was also a operating singing even when I was there. I very much recommend seeing it. Stunning scenery and good gift shop as well. A must for any Hakone trip. So happy I went. (Photos taken in November).
Experiencia fantástica: We felt as we were transported to Italy during rennaisance. The enjoyed the Venetian ambience and the story of glass making. We could attend a live perfomance of an Italian Violinist. Totally worth it!
