Museo Técnico Nikola Tesla

Experiencia fantástica: An interesting musem, perfect fot fellow nerds and people who like big machines. Most parts are also translated into english. The top floor isn’t. Spent about 2h there. (N.B. Although not related to technics, i LOVED the museum’s bees on the 2nd floor, so fascinating.)

Experiencia fantástica: Good value for the money (entry 4€ /adult). Including entry to the mine, every hour, English (sort of ) speaking guide, but very nice guy. Interesting for children too. Expectation time 1-2 hrs. Recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to spend time on a rainy afternoon. Huge collection that you could spend several hours in but we only had one before closing. They have tons of machines (vehicles, engines, fire extinguishers...) from before modern times to current. They also had Tesla wing, wish we had gotten a chance to see the presentation that happens once a day. The machines on stage looked like it might be interactive.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time, I couldn't belive that time passed so quicklty. Almost 4 hours and we could stay more. My kids were thrilled.

Experiencia fantástica: That an awesome museum for the adult and kid. The ticket is not expensive and you can buy it through online as well. So many ancient motorcars are there. I have never seen the radios and televisions that have been shown there. I and my friend took a lot of photos with the cars, airplanes, and the other interesting things there. The thing I like most was that they offer a book for the visitors and you can write down whatever you like and your name, date and time. For me, I went there on my birthday and I wrote about it. I was so happy doing that.

Experiencia positiva: This would be a good place to take kids as wandering around the place looking at the old fire trucks, cars, planes, even an old submarine and helicopter are quite fun and interesting. Unfortunately for me a lot of the exhibits didn't have an English translation so I couldn't pick up everything that was happening. The actual Nikola Tesla exhibit was overrun by a class room the morning I was there so I just peeked at the outer part which talked about his early life. I can find everything I need to know on line on google but I was hoping to see more of that exhibit which is tucked into a section. It's probably for only the most die hard enthusiasts for this museum or kids or people who speak Croatian maybe. Good for a 45 min cruise through.

Experiencia fantástica: The guided tour is a must see. You will see the underground coal mine and lots of Tesla high voltage arc flashings. Great place with lower price of only €4.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good museum and very big with a tone of information about Nikola Tesla and many other things

Experiencia fantástica: This place is a must-see in Zagreb if you are looking for a whole afternoon filled. The museum is very big, and you will have plenty of things to see, starting from plows all the way up to nuclear energy, a complete overview of our advancement in technology. If you are on time you might even see the live show where they demonstrate some of Nikola Tesla's greatest inventions (we saw the live show at 15h30), like the Telsa coils. The grand finale is such a great performance and so surreal to see electricity transmitted wirelessly of such a distance, truly stunning!

Experiencia fantástica: Very rich and satisfying exbibition of texhnology, inovation, human striving for better life, impressive collection of old vehicales of all aorts, as well as hravu machinery, industrial technology of the past and of course dedicated s citon of Tesla's life and his inventions. This museum is a Must in Zagreb. Thank you!

Experiencia positiva: It is a nice place to understand more about the evolution of the machines and also to learn about physics. We could see nuclear power plants principles, rockets, airplanes, cars, oil production information and also Tesla's inventions. The man that received us at the door saw that we had heavy backpacks and helped us with that. Really kind. Unfortunately there are some places of the Museum only opened during certain hours of the day, and since we could not stay there until the afternoon we could not visit the coal mines. I asked the girls to open an exception and open the place just for a photo, but they did not attend to that (they said they were not allowed), not even tried to ask someone that could authorize it. So if you want to go to the museum, the best experience is to look at their time tables for guided tours.

Experiencia fantástica: Such an informative and curious museum full of interesting exhibits. For a low admission fee, you can easily enjoy a few hours learning about generators, firefighting techniques, the development of transportation, Nikola Tesla's past, and so much more. A great museum for people of all ages.

Experiencia fantástica: A lot of fun and great for kids. The mine tour was introduced in English, but the experiments were only explained in Croatian. That wasn't a big problem and they were still exciting to follow along with and watch.

Experiencia fantástica: I am not a technology fan, but I loved this place. It gives an overview of the history of technology. I saw some household appliances I remember from my childhood, there is a sewing machine exhibited my Mum still owns. I liked the mine and the submarine, even greatest respect for the miners and sailors now... But my favourite were the old cars, I am posting a picture of the most beautiful one. The staff is very professional and kind, and they know everything

Experiencia fantástica: Fascinating museum with a wide range of technological devices, from ancient axes and plows to sewing machines and computers to airplanes and spaceships to nuclear power. There was even a little beekeeping display. Our boys especially loved the display of firefighting history in Zagreb. There was a nice presentation on some of Tesla's devices (probably not unlike what you can see at the SPARK Museum in Bellingham, USA, if you ever get a chance to visit that), but we didn't stay for the whole thing. Really well done museum!
