Experiencia fantástica: I thought this was a great museum. The artwork was very interesting and very impressive. Quite unique compared to museums I have seen in other cities. I really enjoyed it and it has given me a greater appreciation for outsider or naive art.

Experiencia fantástica: So far, my most favorite visit in Zagreb. The art is a breath of fresh air. Not to say there aren't some heavy pieces hanging inside, but the style is easy and comforting. It's not very big, only about four rooms. There are bathrooms and you can buy prints and postcards of most of the art, since there isn't very much. As of October 2021, only 10 people could be in at a time. There were four when I was there. Please, no pictures or videos in the gallery!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful museum with colourful paintings. We were quite surprised. Especially the paintings on glass were spectacular. By far the best contemporary art museum in Zagreb. Staff was very friendly and told us some very interesting backgrounds. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: An exquisite collection of croatian naïve art. A small museum that holds great art pieces. Located in the upper part of the city (Gornji Grad), it definitely deserves a visit. Has also a small store at the entrance to buy magnets, cards, posters and stuff alike.

Experiencia fantástica: Since 1994, this 19th-century building with its beautiful Neo-Baroque façade has housed works from an exhibition of Naive painters which opened in Zagreb in 1952. The paintings are characterized by the use of vivid colour and a strong feeling for narrative. There are paintings by the founders of the Naive trend, Ivan Generalić and Mirko Virius, as well as by the Hlebine school, where works by Ivan Večenaj and Mijo Kovačić stand out, and primitive artists from other regions (Ivan Lacković, Ivan Rabuzin, Slavko Stolnik and Matija Skurjeni). Among the sculptures are several by Lavoslav Troti.

Experiencia fantástica: Quite a lovely, smaller gallery museum. I liked the way the art was arranged to help give a good overview of this type of art and was nice to visit before some of the other larger local galleries!
