It is a two-story facility built as a Renaissance-style Western-style wooden building. It must have been built with a considerable budget at the time, and has a dignified and magnificent appearance, with old-fashioned designs everywhere. It was a museum to show. The contents of the exhibition are divided into several exhibition rooms in the large hall, and the relationship with forestry in Aomori and the history of its origin are explained in an easy-to-understand manner by explanations on panels and introductions of exhibits. To be honest, it wasn't very interesting to see, but just exploring the spacious interior of this classical Western-style building built in the Meiji period was enough to make up for it, and it was a fun time.

Experiencia positiva: It's for adults. This facility is recommended for those who are interested in Aomori's history, forest railways, and trees. The outdoor display of abandoned railroad tracks and locomotives that use them is very attractive. I would like to see more exhibits in the museum. You need to wear clothes suitable for the temperature, as if you were visiting an old Western-style building without air conditioning.

Experiencia fantástica: 林業に関する展示が濃いです。特に青森とヒバのところの林の形成についての展示は論文発表を読ませていただいているかのような濃い内容がわかりやすく展示されています。 八甲田山に絡めたスキーの展示も大変興味深いものでした。 観覧料が安いので心配になるほど。
