Experiencia fantástica: One of, if not the most underrated museum in all of Athens. It was completely empty during tourist month of August. The museum is fresh and up to date, while retaining great exhibitions of the older times. The staff was very friendly and helped us get student discounts for the tickets, ask them on the spot and remember you can buy on your phone to get a 10% discount. A must go in Athens, the origin of the Olympics

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing exhibition, nice memory of the Olympic History and spirit. Sadly it's really hard to get there, but it's rather the problem of Public Transport not the Museum.

Experiencia fantástica: A museum of excellence! The exhibits are in both Greek and English. Every turn reveals another gem. Torches, posters, costumes, and artifacts tell the story of the ancient and modern games. This is a 10-star experience. You have to go before November 2023 to experience a temporary exhibition on ancient Olympia which adds another dimension. You will love how the technology brings this exhibit to life today!

Υπέροχος χώρος ,όμορφα προβεβλημένα τα γεγονότα της εξέλιξης των Ολυμπιακών αγώνων από την αρχαία Ολυμπία μέχρι την αναβίωση και την διοργάνωση το 2004 από την Αθήνα .Διαδραστικοί πίνακες ,ακουστικές αφηγήσεις ,το πιο εντυπωσιακό για μένα ο χώρος με τα προσωπικά αθλητικά αντικείμενα των Ολυμπιονικών μας .!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is another hidden treasure of Athens!! This museum gives an amazing historical presentation of the Olympic Games. The modern married with the old and the way it was design is spectacular. It is interactive and definite educational. Kid friendly museum for sure. It has museum shop that leads into the mall if you want to go shopping. I used the metro and electric train and I was there from within 30 min from Stntagma. Very impressive museum and a must visit if you are in Athens

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the Athens Olympic Museum during my visit to Athens and loved it! It's a very clean and elegant museum that does a wonderful job describing the history of the Olympic Games. The first few rooms cover the ancient games and then the rest of the museum focuses on the modern games. I am a fan of the Olympics and I still learned a ton. My girlfriend who isn't too interested in the Olympics really enjoyed herself as well. Our favorite exhibit was the room that showcased each Olympic Games from the modern era. The museum is new and was not very crowded when we went. I hope more people take the time to check it out. I highly recommend visiting!!! (Note: can be easily accessed by taking the metro to the Irene station and then walking through the Olympics Athletics Center past the stadium.)

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museums I've ever visited! The history of the games up until the present day is detailed in the most spectacular way - through stories, photography, videos and artefacts from the various ceremonies. Extremely modern, innovative and well-presented; we were blown away by the production of it! The museum is very interactive and would be engaging for people of all ages, including children. Everything is presented in both Greek and English, making this an ideal destination for international visitors to Athens. I'd highly recommend visiting this museum before making the journey to Olympia to see where it all started. Really well done - it's so wonderful to have this museum in Athens!

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 2 full hours to go through the entire museum, totally worth it. A staff was also escorting me from the beginning which made the entrance very special. I had some luggage with me as I had to go to airport directly, felt lucky to store all my luggage in their storage units. One can easily fit their 10kg suitcase and other small bags.

Παρουσιάζει με πολύ ωραίο τρόπο την ιστορία των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων από την Αρχαιότητα έως σήμερα, με πολλά εκθέματα από Έλληνες Ολυμπιονίκης, δάδες λαμπαδηδρομιών, εκπληκτική και συγκινητική παρουσίαση της Αθήνα 2004, όλες τις πόλεις που έχουν διοργανώσει Ολυμπιάδες με πολλά αναμνηστικά. Πολύ καλή χρήση οπτικοακουστικού υλικού και ιδιαίτερα στην παρουσίαση της Αρχαίας Ολυμπίας μέσω εικονικής περιήγησης, σε συνεργασία με την Microsoft. Φανταστικό Μουσείο. Παρουσιάζει με πολύ ωραίο τρόπο την ιστορία των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων από την Αρχαιότητα έως σήμερα, με πολλά εκθέματα από Έλληνες Ολυμπιονίκης, δάδες λαμπαδηδρομιών, εκπληκτική και συγκινητική παρουσίαση της Αθήνα 2004, …

Experiencia fantástica: Δεν υπάρχουν λόγια για να περιγράψω το πόσο έχω εντυπωσιαστει από το συγκεκριμένο μουσείο. Είναι πραγματικά το κάτι άλλο. Να αρχίσω από τους ανθρώπους του μουσείου. Ευγένεια, γνώση, διάθεση να ενημερώσουν τον επισκέπτη για οποιαδήποτε απορία. Τα εκθέματα καταπληκτικά, βαλμενα φανταστικά στο χώρο. Πράγματα που δεν περιμένεις να δεις. Χώροι βιντεοπροβολων απο τους οποίους δεν θες να φύγεις. Το κερασάκι είναι ο χώρος της διαδραστικής έκθεσης που θα σας αφήσει με το στόμα ανοικτό. Χίλια μπράβο. Και όλα αυτά με το μηδαμινό εισητηριο των 7€.Μην χάσετε την ευκαιρία να επισκεφθείτε το Ολυμπιακό μουσείο. Δεν υπάρχουν λόγια για να περιγράψω το πόσο έχω εντυπωσιαστει από το συγκεκριμένο μουσείο. Experiencia fantástica: Initially a little surprised to go to a shopping center to visit a museum! But it is a very beautiful museum with a clear and very rich course. One of the best museums we visited in Greece, and you don't need to be a fan of sports or the Olympics to enjoy it. A quick note for the guide present during our visit: excellent support, present just when needed, and the explanations on the scenography we really liked and interested (as architects), congratulations!

Experiencia fantástica: Great effort. Located in the Golded Hall, very well run and interesting. There you will find out about the history of the Olympic games and see many Great memorabilia and old artifacts. Definitely worth a visit.
