🗣️ Museo de Etnología de Vietnam: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Good informative museum, need at least 2 hours to enjoy it all
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting way to understand the incredible diversity and origins of Vietnamese people. Learned a lot.
Experiencia fantástica: I was lucky to have a guide with me who knew his stuff although lots of information placards and history boards are available. Beautiful buildings and a lovely setting, Defenitly put this on your list.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place with exposition about local Vietnamese cultures as well as world cultures in their second building. The architectural garden was also quite impressive, you can climb up the stilt houses and have a look inside. The cafe/restaurant bit pricey although ok.
Experiencia fantástica: Visited on Public holiday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …
Experiencia fantástica: Really fascinating! Love how the houses have been built in the gardens
Experiencia fantástica: I could see various and unique culture and people all around Vietnam here. The best thing was I could see and learn more about sapa people which I visited few days ago. The building itself was modern architecture. Also, they displayed kind of traditional buildings of Vietnamese people outside the museum. They are open to visitors and could directly feel their culture which was very good experience. The only drawback was that food here was so expensive and mostly not related to Vietnam stuff like pizza. I was fortunate to see water puppet here. I don’t know even a word of Vietnamese but it was just funny and interesting to see it.
Experiencia fantástica: Whenever I visit a new city one of the first place I go to is the museum. This one definitely did not disappoint! It has three exhibitions. The first one is the main building and houses old artefacts from all of Vietnam's 54 ethnic cultures. You can see examples of pots, weapons, ships etc used by these people traditionally. The second is the architecture garden where they have recreated life size traditional village huts and architecture. It really gives you a feel for how people actually live in the villages. This was my favourite part. The third is a massive modern building which showcases artefacts and history from all over the world including other parts of Asia, Africa and the Americas. A must visit for those culturally inclined. It is a great oasis of peace too within a bustling city
Experiencia fantástica: Nice museum with show different ethnical groups in Vietnam.
Experiencia fantástica: A must-visit destination. Easy to get to via taxi. There's lots of history to be learned here!
Experiencia fantástica: I love this museum specially the houses display. It show me clearly how the life was and still is in rural Vietnam. I love it. The houses are clean and well preserved, they speak by themselves.
Experiencia fantástica: A must-see for international visotors. Well organized, not overloaded, shows details of Vietnam variety of ethnic cultures. Explanations in English and French. Indoor exhibitions of ethnic origins, clothing, architecture, crafts etc. Outdoor exhibitions of houses, boats, sculptures and more. Besides there is a nice collection of South East Asian and world handcrafts.
Experiencia fantástica: Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam and it has collection of History documents, conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation's different ethnic groups. I went on weekdays and it’s not crowded. This museum is well managed and clean and recommended to add in must visit place in Hanoi.
Experiencia fantástica: Really nice place, the entrance fee is 40 000VND. Discount is only for Vietnamese students. The museum shows how they lived, and there is also open-air museum which is really nice. You have to take off your shoes to enter some of the houses in the open-air part. It's worth it
Experiencia fantástica: You will be blown away by the elaboration of these architectures, The museum is especially a great choice for those who cannot find time to visit all remote areas where live the majority of Vietnam ethnic minorities
Experiencia positiva: Some really interesting exhibits here. We particularly enjoyed exploring the tribal homes. A nice way to spend 2-3 hours. The souvenirs at the shop there be bought downtown at better prices.
Experiencia fantástica: What a gem of a museum. A look at the Indigenous peoples of Vietnam. Their homesteads painstakingly recreated. Some gorgeous textiles and basket weaving. Weekends are full of screaming kids. Definitely worth a visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice place to learn about history of tribes and how they lived. Remember to bring mosquito repellent for the outdoor exhibition! Visit the cafe inside , interior is beautiful
Experiencia fantástica: Great experience to find out more about vietnamese culture and their history. Exponates are well described with vietnamese, french and english translations. There are built traditional homes and other buildings to show life, customs and architecture of vietnamese people. You can walk in most of them if you take your shoes off. However, in some of them the floor was very thin and I was scary I would fall through. In the mornings, there is traditional water puppet show.
Experiencia fantástica: A Cool place for anyone wants to know more about the ethnic minoroty people in Vietnam! Omg this place is very big, they even bring many real houses to the museum (don't forget to go around the area to see more), those are amazing. That's a brilliant idea to preserve the national culture that maybe no more exist in the future.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a must visit place in Hanoi if you are interested in history and culture. The museum will open your eyes and widen your knowledge about multi-ethnicity of Vietnam. It has open area to demonstrate the traditional house and tomb in the old days. Spend above 2 hours here and end up with enlightement about Vietnam. It's quite far from Old Quarter. Best approach by taxi or grab.
Experiencia fantástica: If you plan to stay in Hanoi you shouldn't omit this place. Why? Because there is.possibility to get know about entire Asian ethnology. There are not only dry facts or artifacts, there are amazing old buildings reproductions 1:1. You can go around and feel like old culture member. Beside that, there are many interactive videos and curious temporary exibitions. Seriously, I recommend this place!
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum for learning about cultures of indigenous tribes from Vietnam and other Asian nations. Simple yet informative. Don’t miss tribal houses in the backyard that they collected from all over the nation. Also you can see much better water puppet show here in a real nice setting.
