Experiencia fantástica: The museum is very beautiful. Now the security when you go inside are MEN?!? Oh yeah, big deal. The ground floor contains a lot of exhibits, especially the center area of the museum, where recently there opened an exhibit area that stores Vietnam’s National Treasures! And there’s even a BASEMENT floor which btw is only open for conferences. OVERALL, the exhibits were enough to make me EXHI-llirated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AREA TO VISIT!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Like other reviews mentioned, top floors not open at the moment. So check beforehand if you want a proper/long visit. Building and garden are nice, lot of young Hanoians wandering around taking of each other. No entrance fee, only 5K for parking.

Experiencia positiva: It appears that the higher floors are being revamped. The first floor is a nice exhibit of cultural artefacts, and near the museum there is a traditional crafts exhibit that is just as interesting. It might seem a bit lacking right now, but I will make another visit later and give an update.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here while there is an exhibition of digitized masterpieces "Magister Raffaello". Thanks to current state-of-the-art technologies, the works are displayed in a chronological order marking the life and career milestones of the painter. The exhibition goes beyond the concept of a “multimedia production”, blending together scientific rigor, technological innovation and artistic talent, designed to have a unique emotional impact on visitors. Along the exhibition itinerary, the visitor will encounter a variety of media, including images, narrations and music, which provide a comprehensive experience of the artist’s genius and explain the essential place he holds within the History of Art. Last but not least, the plus point is the exhibition was freely open for audience to come :)

Experiencia fantástica: Convenient location. The space inside is spacious, with parking spaces for both motorbikes and cars. However, there is almost no exhibiting space at all, but mainly used as the venue for events, seminars and overnight parking.

Experiencia fantástica: Vey large museum full of treasures, full of history and even modern artists. I strongly recommend a visit.

Experiencia positiva: I think they might still be working on setting up this museum. Either that or it's currently undergoing work, as a lot of it seemed less than organized. A lot of the displays don't have English explanations, and some don't even have Vietnamese explanations. There's also a lot of empty areas, as well as an entire floor not accessible between floors, with visible work going on. So, if/when the work is done and the flow better arranged, I think it will be a better visit. That said, there were a lot of very interesting pictures from the war, and some interesting reading for what was available in English. There are also a lot of old and beautiful artifacts and pottery. As I noted above, might be worth waiting this one out a bit, although entrance was free so nothing was lost.

Experiencia positiva: Very interesting visit. Mostly all about the Vietnam war and invasion from the French and the negative impact and poor treatment to the people. It is very sad to see the hardships these people have been through from past invaders but also glad to see how Vietnam is showing positive signs of growth and prosperity. I would highly recommend a visit to Hanoi because it’s totally at the crossroads between modern and old style Vietnam.

Experiencia fantástica: Huge museum but you wont be able to interact with all of it. The architecture if definitely the strongest front but nevertheless i enjoyed my quick visit.
