🗣️ Museo de Historia Militar de Vietnam: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Nice show of advanced equipments. Loved it
Experiencia fantástica: Museum is beautiful. Near the city center. Cheap entrance pric
Experiencia fantástica: Good place to learn plenty about Vietnam War and far more informative than History Museum. There’s a huge cafe on the museum premises to relax after, which is a plus.
Experiencia fantástica: Full of knowledge and information..if you are aware of Vietnam history then this is ur place..they have 2 different museums inside..one is with French war and second is with US.. both are so gud and knowledgeable...you will get to knw so many things
Experiencia fantástica: A great place to experience and learn about Vietnamese History and it's greatness.
Experiencia fantástica: Enjoyed our visit - cheap entry fee. The camera fee is only for actual cameras - I asked and they said phone cameras are free. Lots of interesting history displays as well as war wreckage and equipment.
Experiencia fantástica: A really confronting experience about what Vietnam has endured throughout history. Allow about 2 hours to stroll around the complex, which includes multiple buildings, spread over 2 levels.
Experiencia positiva: It shows the history of us Vietnam war .. all it's artifacts ..history brilliantly displayed.. If you have a interest for history you can definitely visit it . It has the planes.. helicopters that vietnamese liberation army captured from us military. It is also near to the flag tower which is basically like a fort . The entry ticket is 40000 vnd per person.
Experiencia positiva: It's quite small as museums go, but there is enough if you know what I mean. ????. Outside consists of displays of mainly ???????? helicopters and planes. Inside there's various rooms with static displays of photos and descriptions of various conflicts. The staff (soldiers) looked bored most of the time, sitting round on their phones. The bloke in the gate was sharp, saluting people as they entered and exited. It's dirt cheap, at 40,000 VND which is around £1.60. Give it a go.
Experiencia positiva: Im not a fan of war museums, so i did not enjoy the museum. I like the outdoor display and the old lookout tower at the museum grounds. The ancient war part of the museum is ok also... although it was just a small part of the museum. For a VND 30,000 entrance, its not too bad if you like those war exhibits
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing place to be visited.....all those war planes..tanks....well preserved...and uniquely displayed......
Experiencia fantástica: The museum is large with 4/5 floors of exhibits covering tradition, heroic women figures, motherhood, women centered religion, fashion and more. It had a good balance of written information and physical exhibits as well as art by students displayed in the reception. You need 2 hours to really get the most out of what is on display but if you just want to learn about a certain thing / aren’t too into museums - an hour is fine.
Experiencia fantástica: we love it here! the best location of all, so close to everything, the center of Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, right across the street from Lenin square garden... And the best part is, this place features all the army stuff from the past...the 15th centuries weapons...the Russian fighting jets...and you get to climb through the tunnel stairs all the way to the top... standing there, looking up to the flag tower, you'll see the true peaceful Hanoi. our kid loved it there and we'll be back in winter to really enjoy the fresh air.
Experiencia fantástica: The place is very well preserved maintained and updated.Best place to understand Vietnamese’s history and fighting spirit.Museum has its large outdoor display of aircraft, tanks, helicopters and artillery. Inside, the museum displayed many photographs, documents and weapons of past modern wars in Vietnam. I felt it was a worthwhile visit. Entry Ticket available inside the main gate 40,000 VND for foreign
Experiencia fantástica: There are many museums in Hanoi covering different branches of the military (infantry, air-force, B-52 defense, etc). This one is the most centrally located, just to the west of the Old Quarter near Hanoi Train Street and Lenin Park. The museum has is split over several buildings with displays on the ground and upper floors as well as several areas outside for larger exhibits such as tanks and aircraft. Most of the museum covers the colonization by, and war with, France. Only a fraction covers the war with the US or China, although the outside exhibits are mostly from the war with the US. There is a general lack of narrative to the museum. It is mostly just a display of stuff in roughly chronological order. Here's a thing, here's its name, that's it. The only exception is the audiovisual display about Dien Bien Phu which does a decent job of illustrating the order of battle. The best part is the outdoor exhibit. There are a decent number of airplanes, helicopters, tanks and artillery pieces. Make sure to go right to the back of the museum because there is more tucked around the corner that you might miss.
Experiencia fantástica: We went here to look a the flag tower and didn’t realise there was a whole museum attached but we were pleasantly surprised. There are so many exhibits to look at including a few fighter jets and a chinook which were really interesting. They have created a brilliant display made up of wreckages of American and french planes that had been downed during conflicts. There is so much information and the museum is really well laid out. It’s really worth a visit and you could spend hours here. There is also then the flag tower which you can climb the base of which gives an awesome view of the exhibits and the citadel.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are interested in Vietnam war history, so this is your place. One of the best place to learn about Vietnamese war history! It is very worth to visit that you couldn’t miss
Experiencia fantástica: I didn’t enter, only wandered on the outside, that is totally worth it! So many USA planes! And learning that the US dropped more that 5kk tons of bombs on Vietnam is scary!
Experiencia fantástica: If you are in Hanoi and have small boys you absolutely should visit. I recommend the walking tour by starting at the John McCain Memorial, then heading to the B-52 lake and finally over here to the Museum. Lots to see and explore. The pre Vietnam War exhibits opened up a history I was not aware of and found fascinating. I recommend you pay for admission but skip the "camera" pass. Nobody checks and everyone is snapping photos anyway.
Experiencia fantástica: Good museum to get into the details of the wars fought the this beautiful country. A lot of objects are shown of all wars. Outside there is a whole area with the warmachines planes and tanks. Inside there are more detailed information forms about each battle. Also a video area has been set up with a interactive map on the ground. Fair entrance fee of 40k. It mentioned something about camera but that was not clear.
Experiencia fantástica: Tickets sell at working hours. When you are going there in the afternoon after 12:00 am, have to wait, tickets sell at 13:00. Beautiful places with the Tower. There’s Highland Coffee shop, also. There’s a tank in the back named “King of the battle” interesting!!!
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museums. You can see so much things about the war on Vietnam. We came here at 16h although it closes at 16h30. They didn’t want let in but I negotiated to let us in, because I thought that 30 minutes would be enough for visiting the museum. We saw everything in a rush. You can spend at least 1 hour here with seeing everything inside and outside. Really, I recommend this museum. It costs 40k dong.
Experiencia fantástica: A fascinating place for people who want to know more about the military history of Vietnam. War history buffs such as myself will definitely enjoy looking at the plethora of military artifacts, exhibits, and vehicles on display at the museum. Each exhibit is usually accompanied by a plaque or caption (for photos) that goes into detail about the said exhibit. The flag tower of Hanoi is also located within the compound. The price of an entrance ticket is 40,000 VND/person (accurate at the time of this review)
Experiencia fantástica: Really impressive! Especially all the planes and war machines, you can have a look at on the outside! Don’t miss out the big tanks and some other machines, you can enter at the very end of the museum if you just walk straight till the end. There is also a first floor with more things to visit! Also exhibition about postwar actions and military nowadays. You can spend a lot of time there, to learn about the WHOLE war history of Korea!:) Entrance ticket for 40k. There’s a lot to see and normally it would take 2 hours to get through:) Toilets are available and lockers for the bags as well.
Experiencia fantástica: Hosts an extensive collection of military items from pre-history through the end of the American war. The collection of military hardware is especially impressive including both Vietnamese and captured American planes, helicopters, and artillery pieces. The highlight is access to the old flag tower. Great views of the surrounding aircraft as well as Thăng Long Imperial Citadel. If you come in the morning, make sure to come early as they close for lunch at 11:30 sharp.
Experiencia fantástica: Wow!! The first time I went here on the last weekend. It is very interesting, everything are big such as car, plane, tank and a lot of gun
Experiencia fantástica: The museum is a great collection of military hardware and historical information during the French and American occupations. But also at the beginning of the museum is a small room dedicated to historic battles and leaders dating back to over a 1000 years ago. The material outside is extremely impressive with a statue and memorial to all the planes that were shot down around Hanoi. The statue is made from all pieces of planes shot down. Lots of American pieces...lol. An extremely informative museum. Another great visit in Hanoi.
Experiencia fantástica: Did not expect to be so big. The museum consist from two buildings with a lot of exponents. There is also exterior exhibition with many flights and tanks ... You can have a nice view from the monument also ... We spent there over two hours packed with information and watching exhibitions. Ticket is 40K VND but it is definitely worth it. Recommend to visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Must see if you like military and Vietnam War era. Many iconic military vehicles and aircraft (like UH-1 Huey, M48 Patton Tank) are laying outside and exhibition inside. Also som gift shop with good stuff is here and there is also Highland coffe near so great opportunity spend afternoon here.
Experiencia fantástica: Decent little museum located in Hanoi. Built to showcase the wars Vietnam has endured over its history. If your a military buff this is a great little gem to check out. It has many different types of airplanes, weapons and vehicles from the wars. I enjoyed it. Some will not but that is life.
Experiencia fantástica: A sobering look at Vietnamese Military history over several centuries. Fascinating artifacts and exhibits. It also happens to be located next to the flag tower of Hanoi and opposite Lenin park so you can see three attractions in one visit to the area.
Experiencia fantástica: Best museum I visited in Hanoi. Entrance fee is 40000 VND and in return you get access to multiple indoor exhibition areas and 2 outdoor areas.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting place to spend a few hours, where you can learn a lot about the history of Vietnam and all the different conflicts and invasions that have happened over hundreds of years. Most of the displays have an English translation to it which was helpful.
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum! There are a lot of military vehicles outside including tanks, airplanes and helicopters from Vietnamese war. Entrance fee is 40 000 VND (a bit under 2$).
