Experiencia fantástica: I’m not usually one for museums but so glad we decided to come here as part of our Hanoi tour with our guide. It has been put together with so much care and respect, reflecting the life not only of women but all of Vietnam. Allow enough time we were here nearly 2 hours. Amazing stories and artefacts, highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a fantastic museum and a must if you are interested in understanding the cultural aspects of Vietnam, which are strongly influenced by women. Understanding women’s significant role in the Vietnam war is astounding and their devotion to family values. The exhibit on the mother goddesss was very interesting as well This is definitely underrated. We spent 2 hours here. Worth the visit.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my fav museums in the entire world!! Very modern looking, the audio is easy to listen to and understand, learnt a lot more about Vietnamese women. The museum isnt that big which made me felt comfier, and less overwhelming. Def recommend for both tourists and Vietnamese people!!

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite musuem while in Vietnam. The cultural artifacts, the traditions and the audio guide was extremely enriching. The most memorable exhibition was the section related to women's lives during the war, it moved me to tears. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We felt welcomed and relaxed from the moment we walked in the spa. Receptionist girl was very kind, good English and ensured we got the best service. The foot massage was good and I am very satisfied with it. The price is also reasonable compared to other spas in Hanoi.

Experiencia fantástica: What a fantastic museum, covering everything from traditional marriage ceremonies and child rearing, all the way to women's fight for liberation and freedom. Absolutely loved the history and how it was presented. I feel like I learned so much, especially coming in knowing very, very little. Absolutely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: A great place to spend the afternoon. We learned lots about Vietnam, from the perspective of women, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with time in Hanoi. We did the audio tour which was a great handrail, and you can always spend more time on areas of specific interest too.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful exhibitions on women in Vietnam. From street worker to housewife. Gives a great overview and good impressions with video installations and exhibits. Especially the mother of god celebrations, partisan and life of market women was fascinating. Nice people at the front desk and shop.

Experiencia fantástica: I loved this museum. Every city should have a women's museum. The audio guide is worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice museum about the Vietnamese women’s. There are 3 floors with thematic expositions: women’s fashion, women’s in family and women’s contributions (in war).

Experiencia fantástica: so if you’re in Hanoi for a few days and into culture/history, I’d definitely suggest visiting this museum. The museum has 3-4 floors, each floor has different topics, first is about marriage. Second is women in history and home life, Women in the war effort and the history of fashion within Vietnamese culture. I’d also recommend the Audio guides, they are well narrated in English. Only issue was sometimes finding the right audio number against the item displayed didn’t naturally flow. Cons: There is no coffee shop, and limited seating

Experiencia fantástica: Super interesting and cheap we paid 120,000 (roughly £5) for two tickets to enter and an audio guide. The second floor which covered the women's role during the war with America was fascinating. If you only have a short amount of time, I recommend visiting and just doing that floor. The only improvement I would make is adding a café to have a coffee inbetween as exploring all the floors and listening to the audio guide is quite tiring.

Experiencia fantástica: A must go on all fronts, I’ll spare the details and just encourage everyone to go immediately. Take the time to soak it all in, there is so much to see and experience that it weighs heavy on the heart and mind. An absolutely beautiful display in every sense of the word!

Experiencia positiva: A place for someone who wants to know more about history especially Vietnamese woman in the past. However it’s quite hot and dark inside if visit in hot weather, facilities are a bit old. The floor of fashion needs to be updated more.

Experiencia fantástica: This museum is extremely well done. It shows the history of women in Vietnam, including marriage practices, their role in the war(s), fashion, and home life. There is also an art exhibit on the top floor that I believe rotates. There are features throughout the museum highlighting Vietnam women who have achieved greatness. If you have time, this is a spot to see.

Experiencia fantástica: Traveled all over the world and finally have come to a museum about the importance of women! This museum is designed well and curated properly. The story telling is really good. I suggest getting the audio guide for a couple dollars more. It’s worth it. There is a lot to see and it really shows you the strength of women in general and specifically in Vietnam.

Experiencia fantástica: We spent 1.5-2 hours walking around the several floors and exhibits and enjoyed every moment of it. It was fascinating and added to the massive respect we already had for Vietnamese women. You don't have to spend much time in Vietnam before witnessing first hand how hard working and important they are to their families.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a novel experience to go to a museum that celebrates women. I really enjoyed it. Of course, it could have been more detailed, but I liked that it gave a fairly unbiased and neutral account of women’s lives. It wasn’t politicised or preachy. We enjoyed the documentary about street vendors and took home a copy of the DVD as a souvenir.

Experiencia fantástica: Great museum, very informative. You don't need a guide, just go in and read the info next to each display. Learn about traditions around birth, marriage, agriculture, food preparation, harvesting, clothing, etc. All done by women. Learn about most important female figures in Vietnam.
