Experiencia fantástica: It's an absolutely lovely place with lots of very interesting inventions and lots of demonstrations. The people in there were very nice and explained the different mechanisms or showed us how it worked. No entrance fee, but I definitely recommend leaving a few € there because it's so well made. PS: Absolutely try the square puzzl

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful museum where you can experience the inventions of Archimedes, Plato and others. Very interesting and very friendly stuff which will explain everything to you. If you like you can make a donation or by some souvenirs at the end. Really liked it!!

Experiencia fantástica: Tremendous experience! The staff was extremely helpful and demonstrated all of the historical wonders for us while explaining how the worked. Experience is fast so you can enjoy the whole town.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent museum explaining truly significant inventions in layman's terms. Probably everyone has heard about Archimedes' screw but how many knew about the other technology down to him and how he inspired later mathematicians and scientists. Great guidance from Dora completed a great couple of hours.

Experiencia fantástica: Fabulous museum located in main street in Olympia. Packed full of interesting exhibits and information. Big thank to the lovely young lady, Dora, who showed us around and demonstrated how the models worked. Totally amazing place, a must see. Incredible to see the technology in use in ancient times.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing museum. It's only small but has loads of information and is interactive so keeps the kids amused. Great to see some reconstructions, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and help full. It is also free so is worth a look.

Experiencia fantástica: A fantastic tiny museum. The models were superb, with the ability to touch and play with many of them. It’s only small but it kept my 11 and 9 year old boys occupied for a couple of hours. I learnt quite a few things too.

Experiencia fantástica: A great journey into the inventions of Archimedes and other ancient inventors like Hero of Alexandria. It is particularly good that they let you play and understand the exhibits first hand. And it's free entry. Be careful though because due to Covid-19 the working hours are limited so call ahead.

Experiencia fantástica: Only a small museum and easy to miss among the gift shops, but well worth a visit. Some fascinating insights into the innovation and brilliance of the ancient Greek civilisation. Great to see all of the recreated machines, weapons and entertainments.

Experiencia fantástica: What a fantastic museum! You might know about Archimedes and his bath but you probably don't know about all his other discoveries and inventions! Great demonstrations of the realisations of his creations and the lady showed us round many of the exhibits. Favourites in our family were the calculator, the door alarm and the wine cup that empties if you help yourself to too much ;) An absolute must if you are in the area.
