Experiencia fantástica: Πολύ ωραία διατηρημένο το σπίτι, είναι μία εξαιρετική εμπειρία! Η ξενάγηση μου φάνηκε ότι πήγαινε λίγο γρήγορα ενώ χρειαζόμουν περισσότερο χρόνο για να επεξεργαστώ τους χώρους.

Ο ξεναγός δείχνει να λατρεύει αυτό που κάνει, έχει απάντηση για οποιαδήποτε ερώτηση μπορεί να έχεις όσο αφορά την ιστορία όλου του Μετσόβου μέχρι και 300-400 χρόνια πριν. Ήταν υπέροχη ξενάγηση , δεν μας άφησε καμία απορία και πραγματικά μας χάρισε άπειρες γνώσεις. Δεν καταλάβαμε πως πέρασε η ώρα ,το συστήνω ακόμα και σε αυτούς που δεν τους αρέσει η ιστορία ! Θα σας κάνει να την αγαπήσετε ! Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πάρα πολύ τον ξεναγό μας !! Βγήκα μαγεμένη απτό μουσείο ! Ήταν ειλικρινά, ίσως απτις πιο ωραίες εμπειρίες που είχα ! Το Σπίτι είναι τεράστιο, έχει ανακαινιστεί ριζικά, είναι περιποιημένο, πάρα πολλά εκθέματα, πολύ ιστορία και ένα ξεναγό με υπέροχη φωνή που σου εξηγεί τα πάντα. Όπως μας εξήγησε τέτοιο σπίτι το είχαν τα παλιά χρόνια μόνο πάρα πολύ πλούσιοι άνθρωποι. Θα μάθεις πολλά για τον Αβέρωφ αλλά και τον Τοσίτσα. Επισκεφτείτε το και μάθετε τα υπόλοιπα. Experiencia fantástica: 5th of May 2022. The Folklore Museum of the Tositsa Foundation (Tositsa Mansion) has been operating since 1955. The museum includes traditional wood-carved furniture, textiles and embroidery and many gold-embroidered costumes. Furthermore, it has decorative and useful objects like weapons from 1821, coins, agricultural utensils and post-Byzantine icons of the period 1650-18. I amazed by few exhibits I want to let you know to show you how they used to organize and operate a Metsovo mansion. -The barger’s skin, which they used as a changing-table for babies. -The huge crab legs using as a tsipouro glass in order to dazzle their visitors, since up in the mountains only few people had already seen the ocean. -They key of the pantry. The oldest woman-yiayia of the house was holding the pantry key and it was locked. In that way, they wanted to ensure that winter supplies would not be stolen. - 300 and 400 year old horse gold-embroidery saddles inside the stables. - The source of water, which was located inside the lower floor of the house to avoid going outside during the polar winter temperatures. -Last but not least, I am amazed by the office of Evangelos Averoff with his glasses and hi political speech written in cigarettes’ box. A big thank you to kind Thodoris that he is like a moving encyclopedia regarding the Tositsa mansion and he gave me all this useful information during the tour at the museum. Experiencia fantástica: One of the best museums of this kind that I have visited! It gives you a very good idea of how a rich family of old times lived! The artifacts were nicely put! Also there was a tour for every visitor and the lady that was explaining to us was very kind and answered all our answers! Highly recommended if you are in Metsovo!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a unique experience, the museum is very interesting. You can understand how the life was years ago and especially how a rich was living. It is remarkable how this family has helped this place to develop and became part of the history. Inside the museum there are also a couple of religious pictures from 18th century. As our guide told us, it is a museum inside the museum. The tour guide was very kind, helpful and willing to explain to us every detail. The whole packet costs only 3 euros, if you are a student then it costs 2.

Experiencia positiva: This museum is the house of an old rich greek family which used to live there for several years. All the house's rooms include the objects which people were using during their abidance. We choosed a guided tour but it was difficult to listen the guide because of the crowd. The architecural design of the building and the interiors were amazing.

Ο τελευταίος όροφος, ο 3ος, ήταν το διαμέρισμα του Αβέρωφ κατά τις επισκέψεις του στο Μέτσοβο. Περιέχει επίσης προσωπικά του αντικείμενα. Κάτι για το οποίο θέλω να κάνω ιδιαίτερη επισήμανση, είναι η υπέροχη ξενάγηση που μας έκανε ο νεαρός εργαζόμενος του μουσείου. Αναλυτικός, επιμορφωτικός και πρόθυμος για κουβέντα.
