Experiencia fantástica: Delightful little museum, no cost to enter. Very clear explanations of Plato’s life and times (in Greek and English) with entertaining interactivity and some quick but thought-provoking quizzes, and exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyable visit on 4th May 2023.

Experiencia fantástica: Small free didactic and interactive museum to learn about philosophy. Perfect to do with children. Park of Plato right next door very pleasant. few remains of Plato's academy. You can end the trip with a marvelous omelet at Iviskos Cafe on the plato's square at the side of Plato bust.

Experiencia fantástica: This museum was just perfect, information about Plato's Academy is given through interaction, in a simple way that elementary school students find it enjoyable, interesting and easy. I found it very interesting! There is also a documentary of locals testifying about our neighborhood, living by the archeological park, quite a few of my beloved neighbors testified in this. It is just one more reason to be sad that this is closed now. Children loved it!

It describes with a lot of educational materials, the life of Plato and his Academy. Videos are in Greek with English subtiles. I highly recommend, if you want to know more about the father of the Western philosophy. Experiencia fantástica: Nice museum, not very famous unfortunately for what it actually is. The surrounding place was actually the worlds center of education a couple of thousand years ago. For you who wish to visit the place where Plato used to teach and realize the greatness of this, I truly recommend you to come.

Experiencia fantástica: A very small museum with digital material (videos and touch screens) as well as some games aimed at educating visitors about Plato's philosophy. It's free and worth a visit. It is located in the park of Plato Academy, an area with a lot of greenery, very close to the center of Athens.

Experiencia fantástica: Hidden gem. An exhibit focussed on the life and thinking of Plato (and Socrates). Very interactive, everything is translated in English, you can spend 30-45 minutes reading everything. The ruins nearby aren't especially impressive but standing on the rest of Plato' Academy should resonate inside any philosophy enthousiast.

Experiencia fantástica: Not the typical museum! Very interactive - embracing Plato‘s ideas of dialogue in transposing ideas and setting them well into context of the time.

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed Plato's Academy Musem, they summoned really nice information and made great artistic materials. However, whole place - I mean the ruins of Plato's Academy, his monument in the park is just a very faded shadow (described with Plato's words) of the one of the gratest soul ever lived in this world. Everyone who was enough fortunate to know and understand his work, probably will feel the same.

Experiencia fantástica: Fun, amusing, brains engaging! We were two adults and had so much fun! The idea is that objects/instalations are in a dialog with you... Unfortunately, we only had an hour and that is not enough, even thought the museum is so small. We loved the fact that museum is in Plato's hood There is a toilet outside the main building. The museum is for free.

Μπορείς να παρακολουθήσεις ψηφιακές προβολές, να παίξεις παιχνίδια και να εξερευνήσεις τα ψηφιακά εκθέματα του μουσείου. Πραγματικά αξίζει να το επισκεφθεί κάνεις. Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη. Μακάρι να κρατηθεί σε καλή κατάσταση και να μην εγκαταλειφθεί και αυτό απο τον ανύπαρκτο δήμο Αθηναίων όπως το πάρκο και η Πλατεία που βρίσκονται δίπλα. Experiencia fantástica: This is a hidden gem in Athens. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. It’s a small museum but it’s filled with interactive exhibits and covers Plato’s theories (along with other philosophers) very well. This was one of the best museums I’ve ever visited. Experiencia fantástica: If you made your way out to this corner of town to see the Academy and were as disappointed as was I (even though I knew it was just a few rocks), the Museum is a lovely surprise. The topic is philosophy. There are no relics or artifacts here, but if you didn't know anything about Plato before you came, you'll know a lot more about him and his ideas before you leave. Also restrooms are very clean.

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely well done presentation of Plato, his history, philosophy and legacy. Worth the effort of getting there. Spent a very pleasant hour there. The building is small but there is much to take in, especially the animated presentations of several of Plato’s major works.

The museum is nicely designed and suitable for alla ages. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Enterance is free. Platod academy on the park by the museum is not much to see anymore but nether the less thats the authentic place were Plato's academy used to be. The park is nice for a summer walk. A nice place to visit (especially if you are on your way for the bus station KTEL). You can visit the area with the 051 bus line ftom st.konstadinou from Omonia square
