🗣️ Museo Arqueológico de Pella: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice museum, directly linked with the excavations of the ancient city of Pella. The museum is full of wonderful finds, and it's really nice to visit it
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting. Some mosaics can only be found here. Plus the guy in the cafeteria sells some home-made grappa and ouzo ;)
Experiencia fantástica: The museum is awesome. Such an amazing place, full of history. Adult ticket costs 8 euros and you can go to the archaeological site too. Also, the museum is just the right size, not extremely big, not too small.
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum! The building is beautiful and the artifacts are displayed nicely with a lot of information available.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best archaelogical museums I visited in Greece. Very modern, beautiful building and beautiful artefacts in a very good concept
Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed this museum a lot, it had enough but not too much interesting information. The ticket was 8€ and included the entrance into archaeological site as well! A very kind staff is around too. Mosaic frescas were my most favourite thing as well as the 7min video in the beginning of the tour.
Experiencia fantástica: Just Amazing, the mosaics are extraordinary. The museum is one of the best in Greec
Experiencia fantástica: Really nice archaeological museum. The guide is excellent! Great context of Macedonian kingdom and Alexander's deeds.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the nicest museums we have been to in Greece. Well laid out with excellent displays but also with a very good cafe and good shop.
Experiencia fantástica: The museum itself is small and hasn't got anything outstanding, the real draw is the ancient ruins of Pella. Nothing much of the city remains, particularly the temple to the mother of the gods across from the Agora (don't bother with that). But it still fascinating to walk the same streets of Phillip II and Alexander III. Highlights being the baths and mosaics. I believe they're working still on the palace complex at time of this post.
Experiencia fantástica: Well done with respect to working from Neolithic to late Byzantine history from the area. Good explanations posted next to or below an object. Some focus on Philip II and Alexander II but also looked at everyday people's lives. Ramps get one through the exhibits and there is also an elevator so it is doable for physically handicapped individuals. Once again Google Maps did not direct us well to this location. Fortunately once one is close there is good sinage.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the most interesting and most beautiful museums I ever visited
Experiencia fantástica: This place is awesome especially if you're a history buff. I Love everything Alexander his story is fascinating especially considering we are still talking about an individual from so long ago. His actions truly echoed through history. If your in this beautiful country stop here because it's amazing!
Experiencia fantástica: Fundamental learning experience and beyond for all. The entire family enjoyed every exhibit at this museum. We will revisit this incredible space soon.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice museum. Lots of artefacts
Experiencia fantástica: If I was proud of my heritage, after my visit to Pella's Archaeological Museum I am even more. For everyone who wants to know how the kingdom of Alexander the Great began and where everything was started, just make a visit. I am pretty sure you enjoy it.
Experiencia fantástica: Extraordinary museum with artifacts from the history of Macedonians as tribe and as state. From 6500 BC until the descendanys of Alexander the Great.
Experiencia fantástica: There’s amazing mosaics and contents of Ancient Greek burials, both of which are testaments to the craftsmanship of the time. That’s cool and all, but the icing of the cake is this arm of a bronze statue that looks like it’s giving you the thumbs up over 2000 years on.
Experiencia fantástica: Visit September 2020. After the archeological site. Big building. Bright, clean, roomy. Staff friendly and helpful. Big hallways. Big rooms. Lots on display. Signs in English n Greek.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting. Everyone should visit it.
Experiencia fantástica: We’ve visited a few different museums while we’ve been in Greece, but this is our favorite. Really interesting history/artifacts, beautiful building, and lots of information about Pella and Alexander the Great. It’s difficult to decide on a favorite, but the floor mosaics were really well preserved and displayed. The ticket was €7-€8, I think, and it includes entry to the archeological site as well. We arrived a little after mid-day and there was plenty of parking, which was nice because it was really hot and a long walk might’ve done me in.
Experiencia fantástica: An amazing museum with one of the finest collections of ancient artifacts in Greece.
Experiencia fantástica: Was very interesting, it's a good size museum considering the location, there is parking, a cafe and a museum shop.
Experiencia fantástica: The museum itself is great, but as a souvenir lover i am pretty disappointed with the souvenir shops.
Experiencia fantástica: Unbelievable! What an experience. Words fail for description. It's a must for any lover of archaeology! You also need to go to the archaeological site in Pela, home of Alexander the Great.
Experiencia fantástica: Incredibly interesting museum that is surprisingly full of treasures from ancient Greec
Experiencia fantástica: It's a great museum that's worth visiting, with many impressive and different findings such as mosaics, wall decorations that are copied again centuries later in Pompeii, doors, figurines and plenty of soldiers helmets and weapons!
Experiencia fantástica: Increadible place. It has a surprising collection if beautiful pieces from excsvations. The building in itself is worth the visit
