Experiencia fantástica: Herakleidon Museum is well worth a visit, and as well as the excellent exhibitions, the passionate staff and volunteers really make it stand out. Tremendously interesting exhibitions and displays covering a wide array of fascinating technologies and innovations across the ages. Even seasoned history buffs are certain to learn something new here. We are grateful for the wonderful tour from Katerina who was wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate. We were also lucky to learn more about the role and importance of theatre in ancient Greece from staff member Antonis.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience. Our guide, Antonis, was so knowledgeable. Best €5 spent in Athens. Great place for kids (and adults) to learn all about the science and technology behind the ancient civilisations, from construction to the first computer and ‘the greedy cup’ - with demonstrations of how things work too. Much more engaging than the Acropolis museum.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience, museum was nearly empty in the middle of the day. There were some interns waiting as we came inside who offered to give a free tour, she was very passionate and knowledgeable, made the experience much better.

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend getting the "tour" by the employees standing in the museum. They asked us themselves if we wanted them to tell us about the things, and it gave a lot more information than we would have gotten from just looking and reading ourselves. :)

Experiencia fantástica: there was so much to see in the Herakleidon Museum! the entrance was entirely free on thursday after 6 and aside from the 3 floors with paintings and statues, there was also a restaurant on the 4th floor.

Experiencia fantástica: Located in a busy pedestrian street in thé Thissio area. I liked this museum and admire thé victories of thé Greek warships based on thé structure of their boats and tactical skills in attack. Thé second part of this museum presents a link between art and sciences. Very interesting idea for artists , scientists and mainly for youngsters as part of their education. Here they also organise temporary interesting expositions. Absolutely worth a visit.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the most beautiful cultural museums of Athens. Located at the historical area of the city (Thisio) at a pedestrian road. Nice cultural exhibitions, interesting and educational, with interaction activities. A small shop is also exists, variety of courses for the public are organized from time to time.
