Experiencia fantástica: Really well done, interesting exhibition - on the history of Rijeka, Europe and the world :-) - yes they are all intertwined. There is a lot, but even if you dont read all the signs - it's very interesting to follow. All rooms have a totally different atmosphere. Top floor is on the sugar and chocolate industry - and has amazing restored rooms.

They have done a ton of work to make this a fantastic museum— very interactive, lots of variety, and interesting. We had a guided tour but I think it could be excellent without one as well.

Experiencia fantástica: A fantastic museum with lots to see. Old postcards of Rijeka, a bit of early Klimt(maybe...), an exhibition about the growth of modern Rijeka from the 1860s, and much, much more. Also has a very good website. It's opposite the Railway station. Do give it a try, it's well worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: Spacious elevator, clean and big toilet, every room has accessibility entrance at doors for wheels, but some exhibits could be more adapted to visitors with disability. That chandeliers room on second floor is sending enchanted vertigo vibes you never want to get out of, for it seems like another world in there.

Experiencia fantástica: Very well made exhibition, we were positively surprised. We learned plenty of things about Rijeka history, the set up is well organised, there are many old and new photos, interactive stations and films. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: A really nice museum. It was so well maintained and quite interactive. The history of the city was very well displayed and connected to larger historical developments as well. The tickets are quite affordable. 60 kuna for adults and 30 kuna for students.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolute gem in museum offering. The entrance fee will be well worth for what you get even if you are only visiting the permanent exhibition about the history of Rijeka. Exhibition is well structured, bilingual (Croatian/English), interdisciplinary, interactive and highly informative. Highly recommended experience! The building itself is a historical monument.
