Experiencia positiva: Interesting historical place and the museum does a good job at introducing the Neanderthal people and how they lived. The exhibit on how the remains were found and how it was revolutionary for the period is really well done. There is also a good exhibition putting them in chronological context since the Big Bang and Earth formation until today. I would have liked to see more about the Neanderthals and the specifics of this site.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nicely made museum, very informative and detailed. Gives an overview of the evolution of the scientific methods and afterwards of the evolution of the earth and man. Beautiful.

Experiencia fantástica: Good place to find out more about the creation of our world, as well as Krapina area. I recommend visiting during weekdays, as it was crowded during weekend. It would be good if they limit the number of visitors that can enter at the same time, and give them 30min time slots to enable everyone to see everything in peace. The souvenir shop is quite small and was impossible to see anything in that crowd.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolute must see if you are nearby. Very good museum with realistic and educational display. The video at the entrance is something you don't want to miss because it beautifully portrays their lives in a very realistic and in a way explicit way. I dint mind some mild violence and nudity, its part of our nature after all. The display is indeed impressive which i enjoyed very much with beautiful time line and evolution to modern man. You can see the big effort invested in the museum. Nothing is always perfect so i have to say that the offices building near the parking lot looks quite bad when you arrive.

Experiencia fantástica: A small, but great museum well worth visiting. Not to learn just about neanderthals, but also on the life and prehistoric times. In addition to that, the museum building itself is for sure among the best architectures in the region. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: The site of the finding of one of the most known neanderthal remains on European soil. There's one of the finest museum and thematic multimedia exhibition which guides you from the begining of time (the Big bang) through the star and planet formation, through the evolution till today. Really a must see.

Experiencia fantástica: The museum is great and they really took effort to make every step of the tour to be fun, educational and interesting. At the end of the tour there is a beautiful walkway in nature with a beautiful view and nature. Loved it! The museum itself does not have a restaurant but just 7 minutes walk distance there are a few restaurants and pizza places.

Experiencia fantástica: Very cool museum dedicated to neanderthal archeological site on the hill in near vicinity. I heard that the museum is great but didn't expect it was that great. It is very well designed inside. It's forbidden to take a pictures but trust me, you won't regret if you visit it. Great for ine day family trip.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to spend approx. 1,5 hours with family. Prepare yourself for barrage of questions on the way home:-) Use audio devices for guided tour. Next step in product development could be audio devices with stories for kids, not that much science-based, perhaps.

Experiencia fantástica: Breathtaking installation of the Neanderthal men. In fact this is the best preserved locality for the Neanderthals on the globe (most numerous remains of bones and artifacts). The expo dolls look so real, it is mindblowing and almost scary. The rest of the expo is very interesting - definite must see.

Experiencia fantástica: The museum is just simple amazing the explained from the Big Bang, formation of earth until the first humans. The display is very interesting in many languages they even have a cinema . Price per entrance is 60 kunas The toilets are very clean you even have a place to leave your luggage or big items. I was very impress, if you take a walk around the grounds please wear some confortable shoes some place outdoors could be a bit stiff The car park is not big but very useful is free.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing architecture, concreete building, very interesting showing of all periods since the Big Bang. They have small souvenire shop. Very nice decorated toilette and clean. As you enter you sit and watch video projection on the grandious projection screen. They have several interactive spots. Outside findings of neandertals, must walk through woods. Before you enter and pay the ticket (40kuna 3y+) you can see statuas made of wood and metal. Very interesting since they are in natural height. Great for a family day well spent.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum in a nice and quiet town. The quality of the museum is outstanding and the collection is magnificent. Reachable from Zagreb by train, which is also a great experience. Would highly recommend a visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic place. Modern and interactive museum. Very clear and understandable view on the history of world which we know up to now. In front of it is a fantastic park with wooden sculptures. All recommendations to visit this place, and dedicate few hours to study it in details. For sure, access of school kids has to be free, to attract and inkarage them to study, or simply love history and biology.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice museum. Little bit hard to find but near to highway. Lots of interactive stuff. Neanderthals looks like "real" people. Short movie at the museum entrance describes way of life of this people and give you short intro what can you expect walking through exhibit. Walk through geologic time table is most interesting. Family ticket is more than fair.
