Experiencia positiva: The history of the Šibenik development from archaeological artifacts of ancient human settlements before Christ and up to the 19th century. There is everything: from bone and stone tools, then the appearance of ceramics, iron, bronze, the first books, firearms. The museum is cozy and easy to view, fascinating for those interested in history. The 17th century muskets and rifles made a big impression on me.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum. Everyone was so nice and helpfull. It is just behind the cathedral and it's easy to find. Great place to spend some time in. Souvenirs in the gift shop are so lovely and unique. Definitely worth the visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Museo Civico di Sebenico (Muzej grada Šibenika) Il Museo Civico di Sebenico è un museo importante che si estende su più piani ed include varie sezioni: la sezione archeologica, culturale, storica ed etnografica. Nelle sue collezioni vi sono numerosi oggetti validi e importanti per lo studio del passato di Sebenico. Il Museo civico di Sebenico è molto bello e interessante da visitare per tutte le sue opere esposte, fu fondato nel 1925 e si trova nel Palazzo Ducale in cui viveva il Rettore Capitano che era il rappresentante della Repubblica Veneta in città. Nel lato meridionale che si affaccia sul mare c’è lo stemma di Sebenico e la porta gotica con l’immagine di San Michele patrono della città. Nel 1975 fu portata a termine la ristrutturazione del Palazzo Ducale con la quale è stata resa possibile l’instaurazione del museo civico di Sebenico. Sebenico è una bellissima città che ha opere veramente importanti come le sue quattro fortezze, la magnifica cattedrale e tante altre molto interessanti, la città vecchia piena di viuzze caratteristiche e le scalinate che portano ad un piccolo cimitero che contiene delle lapidi risalenti alla Repubblica veneta. Sebenico è una città molto bella che sicuramente è da visitare per assaporare tutto il suo valore storico. Experiencia positiva: The entrance is a bit hidden, but the museum is nice. Modern looking, not overcrowded and made with sense for the history. Also the staff is friendly and welcoming. So it's worth a visit.
