Experiencia positiva: The museum was free to enter. Don't know if you need to have the split card or not. We were the only people in the museum and as soon as I entered, I could see why! There are 3 floors all filled with random things. The best floor was the top floor with a shell collection. The other two floors had a bug collection and information about fossils discovered in Croatia. All of the information was in Croatian so I couldn't understand a word of it, so maybe it's more interesting for a native speaker. Would only come here if you're passing and just go straight to the top floor - don't bother with the rest.

Experiencia fantástica: They currently have a special exposition which lasts until the end of october and is amazing! It presents a private collection of spiders and scorpions. We talked to the owner today and he was such an impressive and smart guy. I did not know much about those animals but I love seeing them being treated well. It is quite an informative experience that certainly is unique. Thank you for sharing what you love and are interested in with everyone else :) The rest of the museum, as it seems to be open to public normally, can be an adventure as well, I was very fascinated by the large amount of different seashells and corals. It would be nice, if there were English transcriptions for the explanations upstairs :) All the best!

Experiencia positiva: The place is overrated. The biggest advantage is shell exposition. However, there is a sparce of ENG labels. I enjoyed the collection of shells from India Ocean and Pacific as well as numerous artifacts from reefs. The beetles' exposition has poor lightning and also lack of english labels. The ticket price is 20 kun per person. Overall, people interested in sea biology might find that museum interesting.

Experiencia fantástica: Really good exhibition of spiders and especially tarantulas! The lady on reception is the friendliest and most helpful museum guard that you will ever meet. Strange that its so empty?

Experiencia positiva: No card payment accepted. The spider expo was very impressive and informative about them, there is english subtitle too. The rest.. there are many many interesting things, but because they don't written the information in english, my feeling is they just dropped lot of things to one small area and that's all. That's not as informative at all as the expo.

Experiencia fantástica: Iako za ljude koji nisu iz Splita može biti problem naći ulaz vrijedi se potruditi. U stalni postav muzeja uvršteno je mnogo zanimljivih eksponata a za vrijeme mog posjeta gostovala je zagrebačka izložba o žoharima. Na najvišem katu izložena je jako velika kolekcija školjaka i morskih bića. Preporuka, obavezno posjetiti.

È composto di tre piani, al piano terra una mostra tematica, al momento sugli scarafaggi. Al piano superiore una grandissima collezione di conchiglie, di mille colori e forme e il piano inferiore suggestivo... Vi lascio scoprire di più. Perfetto per i bambini! Experiencia fantástica: Sehr schön hier, viele Informationen über den Ersteller, Forscher und andre wichtige Personen. Ich möchte zuerst auf die negativen Bewertungen eingehen. Leute 10 Kuna, umgerechnet 1,50€ pro Person, was erwartet ihr denn hier? Der Preis ist völlig in Ordnung! Außerdem gibt es sogar Ermäßigungen. Klar wenn einer nur eine Städtereise macht und das beste raus holen will, würde ich es nicht unbedingt empfehlen, aber für jeden Touristen ist es sehenswert! UND JA ES GIBT ENGLISCHE TAFELN, MANN MUSS HALT FRAGEN! Die meisten Informationen sind auf Kroatisch, ja es wäre cool wenn auch die Namen der Tiere auf Englisch oder Deutsch von Haus aus da wären. Und ja die Aquarien mit den lebendigen Fischen könnten sauberer sein und mit mehr Fischen, aber da denke ich mir 1,50€ wovon soll das dann bezahlt werden? Ich finde es eher für Split selbst nicht so gut wenn es das einzige Naturkundemuseum wäre das es gibt, dann wäre es wirklich naja schwierig. Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden und wer sich wirklich hierfür interessiert kann hier schon mindestens 1 Stunden verbringen. Wir sind hier in Kroatien und nicht in Deutschland, betrachte mal die Geschichte dann weißt du warum es hier so ist.
