🗣️ Museo de Historia Roja: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum! Must visit when u are interested! They don’t sell Books on the topic, which is a pitty! Everything is explained very well!
Experiencia fantástica: is a very nice little museum , is a lesson of comunism
Experiencia fantástica: Great musuem with very cool interactive experiences to communist history of Yugoslavia!
Experiencia fantástica: A very well laid out museum that balances Yugoslavia’s serious communist history with an accessible and even very fun exhibit! Much better that eg the GDR museum in Berlin that feels like more of a tourist trap. This place takes pride in the past without commodifying it too much (to quote our apparently mutual acquaintance Karl). Oh and they can store your luggage during your visit!
Experiencia fantástica: Not sure if the display was meant to show how hard was in communist Yugoslavia and im sure many suffered at times. But I could have been quite happy in the reconstructed 70s 80s home. Recommend it for the nostalgia
Experiencia fantástica: Extremely well-curated and educational museum - the museum is privately owned and it is clear how much intention the owners have invested into ensuring a good experience for visitors. The interactive exhibits and items from Yugoslavia were well-preserved and comprehensive - I particularly enjoyed the VR experience at the end of the exhibit! It’s worth taking a trip here even if its not the nearest to the Old City.
Experiencia fantástica: The best museum in Dubrovnik. In it we can see the lifestyle in Yugoslavia time. It is a super interactive museum, really interesting, in which to see everything in a very pleasant. Plus it has a lot of interesting objects to do with it. The staff are very nice and passionate and help you in whatever you need.
Experiencia fantástica: An eye opener into life in socialist Yugoslavia! The museum challenged many of our assumptions about life in Yugoslavia between 1950 and 1990, while confirming others. Great use of immersive exhibits and an unbalanced view of the good and bad of the regime. Well worth your time while in Dubrovnik.
Experiencia fantástica: Tickets were fairly priced compared to some of the museums in the old town! I loved how interactive everything was - especially listening to all the music from the era... It was also not crowded at all so you felt like you could explore the place yourself!
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting museum for those who lived in ex-Yugoslavia as well as for kids born many years after. It can be explored interactively. I recommend a visit.
Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed this little museum, only 3 rooms if you read every listed information, open every cupboard (interactive museum), watch the 2 documentaries (10 minute each), listen to a couple of music tracks, it takes 1,5-2 hours. And you definitely get the insight of a person living in Yugoslavia. Don’t forget to ask where the cafe inside is, and drink a local beverage
Experiencia fantástica: Loved it! The interactive aspect of the museum makes for a really engaging and rewarding experience. There’s a lot to discover if you spend some time looking through the displays. Listening to the music, trying on the clothes and rummaging through the kitchen cupboards gives you a good sense of life in former Yugoslavia and there was a well balanced perspective on its complicated history. The final section, of photos contributed by former citizens along with their insightful anecdotes was my favourite part of the museum.
