There is a traditional / ancient glass exhibition, a contemporary glass art exhibition, and a glass blowing workshop on the top floor (don’t miss). It’s obvious there is a lot of thought put into this small museum. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Great museum! Very interesting to see all the glass artifacts and read about the different techniques. Most of it was completely new to me. We spent about an hour there.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is a gem! You learn a bit history of this region while in the museum. The best part is the modern sculptures (we were lucky to get to see one from an amazing artist from Thailand, but you get to see diffrent ones at diffrent times of year). Also there is a demonstration of how the glas was made! Amazing!

Great souvenirs to take home, great packing so you can even put it in your suitcase! All pictures are glass pieces you can buy there! They are a remake of the original ancient glass design

Experiencia fantástica: The glass museum was unexpectedly interesting. A lot of curious products made of glass, from ancient times. The exhibition is on several floors. On the top floor there is a working workshop of a glassblower who makes nice local souvenirs from glass right in front of your eyes. You can also buy these glass souvenirs in the museum gift store.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a really nice time in this museum, it was very interesting and entertaining, sadly we were too late for the glass blowers. I highly recommend to play the game "Jadera Secrets" which is a great way to discover the old city of Zadar. Thanks to Lucija (who works at the museum) we really enjoyed our stay in Zadar.

Experiencia fantástica: An incredibly rich and varied display of roman glassware, ranging from make up tools to funerary urns. I've never seen so much intact ancient glass in one place before. Fascinating. Some good informative signage.

Experiencia fantástica: A very peaceful and beautiful exhibition of ancient glass that really makes you empathize deeply with ancient cultures

Experiencia fantástica: What a great surprise. Beautiful glass exhibition of various objects found near and in Zadar area. Also there are two workshops in the museum to see that are showing the process of making and blowing various glass works - larger (bottles, jars, etc) and miniature (balsam and perfume amphorae, jewelry etc.). Really a wonderful sight to see and experience. If you find yourself going to Zadar be sure to visit this museum :D

Experiencia fantástica: The museum is housed in a recently renovated building. Nice premises and an interesting exhibition. A right place for those who like travelling in the time! The permanent exhibition is accompanied with interesting videos about the archeological works, history of glass and the venue. Also 2 temporary exhibitions were nice (sculpted objects made of glass). The museum was almost empty, only few visitors were there - so you can have a rest from crowded Zadar streets.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum with modern ambience. The exhibition is very interesting and if you are lucky enough to be there at the time of the glassblowing workshops, it will blow your mind! At least for me it was like watching magic happen before my eyes. I loved the fact that you can buy jewellery and wonderful glass items as a souvenir!

You can also observe the glass-making process live.
