Experiencia fantástica: A great museum and entrance fee is included in the Dubrovnik Pass. There are a few nude photographs children to view at parents discretion. As a family we really enjoyed the museum.

Experiencia fantástica: Easily one of the top museums in Dubrovnik! An excellent collection of modern pieces, and the current first exhibition was amazing. The statues on the roof terrace are top quality. Only a short walk from the Old Town gate.

They have so interesting set expositions, I recommend you to take your time to read the history of the artist and his point of view. In the terrace you will find so interesting sculptures and a wonderful view of the beach and the Old Town :)

Although there is not so many pieces of sculptures you can see I must say that for me museum is a hidden place behind sculptures you must see if you want to know what Dubrovnik was and is now City, Republic or something more and unique !

Experiencia fantástica: The Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik was founded in 1945, when it was housed in the Cerva-Pozza Palace in the Pile area. But the building in which this museum institution of modern and contemporary art has been located since 1948 was originally conceived and constructed as the prestigious family mansion of Dubrovnik ship owner Božo Banac. In the terms of a 2005 contract with its founder and owner, the City of Dubrovnik, the Museum of Modern Art was allowed the use of additional and associated premises, the Dulčić, Masle and Pulitika Gallery and, in 2008, it acquired the use of the Pulitika Studio (Atelier) An a cultural institution founded with the intention that it should collect, study and exhibit artistic material of modern and contemporary art, the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik has to date managed to assemble, through gifts and purchases, a valuable collection .

Experiencia fantástica: Good "Game of Thrones" views across the bay to the old harbour and Eastern wall. Close to the beach, a short walk from the coach drop off point by the north east gate. The ticket covers this gallery and various museums and galleries in the city. The collection contains a mix of enjoyable creations, by Croatian Artists, with a strong feel for early 20th century Paris. Other galleries extend this collection. The top two floors had a temporary show of contemporary Chinese art using traditional Chinese brush techniques, often on a huge scale - with quirky compositional impact. The best stuff was knock out - all in the enterance fee. Wheel chair access through the main enterence with a lift to all three upper floors. There is retail in the lobby with many art books and back catalogues. Limited refreshments via vending machine. This is a modern building made of attractive off-white stone, using beautifully simple, clean lined forms.

Experiencia fantástica: Should be much better advertised. This is the best museum in Dubrovnik, but there were no tourists there. Probably because there is a wrong location of this place on google maps. It's located near the Banje beach.

Experiencia fantástica: Easily missed gem - slightly off the beaten track, which in itself is a blessing in tourist overrun Dubrovnik. An oasis of calm, it has a lovely setting, with the upstairs colonnade and open terrace overlooking the Adriatic. This same terrace features some very powerful works of sculpture and the paintings in the standard exhibitions are good also, eg Croatian impressionists. The special exhibition was in the process of being changed over so we didn't get to see it. This is part of the Dubrovnik Card deal (one-day version), which we found very enjoyable and good value, especially with the 10% discount for booking online and the one-day travel pass which can be used on a different day. I don't think I would have paid 120 kuna if that is the standard price as that seems a lot for any gallery and it is relatively small.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best places in Dubrovnik without any doubt! Not only the museum has a really interesting permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, but also the staff is specially professional and kind. I totally recommend to visit it. It is a must in Croatia!

Experiencia fantástica: Every art lover must visit this museum, but before you go it's better to check what exhibition they have in that time because when I was there there were a few paintings, and they said 2. floor is not available in that moment. But still it was good. So, please keep these things in your mind, and enjoy!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Building it self is a nice example of modern architecture. Build in 1930 shows a nice example of croatian moderna. Exhibitions are very often more than good and as such could be placed anywhere in the world.
