Experiencia fantástica: An amazing place with hands on experiments for kids. All in all we can spend 3 hours here. It has an actual rocket standing tall .

Experiencia fantástica: 1985年の貴重な資料がある。 ボランティアスタッフが多く、さりげなくサポートしてくれる。 幼稚園、小学生が夢中になって遊ぶ器具がたくさんある。

Experiencia positiva: It's a cool place, but it's more for families with kids and less for solo travellers. Some of their exhibits like the 'futuristic car' are outdated because there are more modern cars available in the market now. On a positive note, their Planetarium cinema is the most impressive one I've ever experienced. It's definitely worth watching something to understand how amazing it is; I wish every cinema in the world was the same so I could watch the latest movies in style! Even if you're not visiting inside the centre, the NASDA space-rocket outside the building is great for photos.

Experiencia positiva: It’s mainly for junior and senior grade students. Everything is in Japanese. The exhibition hall is quite small, it has two floors, ground floor is mainly with the basic science concepts and first floor is about the satellite and it’s launching. The planetarium show was quite disappointing, as the story didn’t focus much on planets, galaxies and stars. The story was narrated in Japanese, as there are no translators it was very difficult to follow for a non Japanese person. Planetarium show has an extra fee of 250¥ for students and 500¥ for adults. The park is so beautiful during autumn, water fountain adds on to the atmosphere. As an English speaking person this was my experience, maybe a Japanese speaking person could have a better experience of the place.

Experiencia fantástica: 4歳の息子とロケットを見に行きました。 エキスポセンターの駐車場は遠いので、 公園側の駐車場に停めるほうがよさそうです。 入口にはロケット模型や噴水があり、子供は喜んでいました。 １階には子供が喜ぶ仕組みがたくさんです。原理がわからなくてもハンドル操作やジャンプしたり動くことで実験ができるので、２歳児ぐらいからでも楽しめます。 特に息子はシャボン玉の中に入る実験や 色メガネによって見え方が異なる実験、 フリクションボールペンをドライヤーでける実験など楽しそうに実験していました。 お土産屋の前にはページめくり紙芝居など簡単な体験コーナーもあり、幼児にはこちらも楽しめるかと思います。 2Fではだまし絵と宇宙に関するフロアがありました。 どちらも子供には難しいで、幼児連れは1Fメインで良いかと思います。 また、1Fにはメインのプラネタリウムがあり、１時間半ぐらいあれば回れるかと思いますので、時間を調整して予約するのが良いかと思います。 今回は宇宙兄弟のオリジナル作品と通常のプラネタリウムでした。 子供にはアニメのように代わる代わるのほうが飽きないようで、子連れの際はこのようなタイプのほうがいいですね。 4歳の息子とロケットを見に行きました。 エキスポセンターの駐車場は遠いので、 …

Experiencia fantástica: Cool stuff

Experiencia positiva: Fun space and science museum expo center in tsukuba. Agree with some of the comments that it could have more things and some of the exibits feel a little dated. But my kids loved it and we spent a few hours here with many hands on exhibits. They also loved the 2 parks nearby, and lots of good food options within walking distance. There is a cafe onsite. The large rocket makes it very easy to find from a distance when driving. ???? Lots of paid parking onsite. We went to the 11.30 planetarium show both of my kids were bored about 5 minutes into the show. Cool they have parts of actual hiyabusa in the outside exhibits.

Experiencia positiva: This is the Japan expo for space research organisation, it is huge. No much fun but good place to spend time with family. It has well maintained pond and park around.

Experiencia fantástica: 35年前に想像していた未来の世界を見に行ってきました。2階の展示内容はアップデートされてて最近の技術や環境問題などが展示されていました。展示は見たり読んだりするものが主体でしたがなかなか楽しめました。子供だと遊べる方がいいのかな。1階の展示室は若干古めの機材でしたが子供たちに人気でわいわいと遊んでいました。科学万博当時の様子を伝えるコーナーでは懐かしいものたちが沢山あって見入ってしまいます。これ、現地に見に行けてた人たちが羨ましい！混んでるところは嫌いだけどここだけは行きたかった。また行って星丸に会いたい！

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were super friendly. Interactive exhibits were very fun. The planetarium show was very nice as well.

Experiencia fantástica: The science exhibit is perfect for nerds of all ages with an insatiable curiosity. From plasma fields to one-way mirrors, the interactive exhibits will keep you occupied for about 2 hours. The ticket inclusive of the planetarium is advisable but there are limited seats and schedule so plan ahead. The planetarium offers shows for kids but only available in Japanese. The show for adults at 1pm is also in Japanese but they offer a limited number of audio receivers that translate the show in English. The regular show is about man’s search for a new earth through space exploration. Though the comfortable seats made it very tempting to doze off, the show kept my interest until the end. Highly suggested!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place for enjoying and learning about science. There is a superb planetarium, in one of the largest such domes in the world, where they show original planetarium programs (similar to imax but with educational focus) as well as special programs such as evening music concerts, etc. The original programs are also available to listen in English, with free rental earphone. There are many hands on exhibits to try. The 2nd floor has exhibits and mini movies relating to space exploration, deep sea submarine missions, etc. There is a rest/snack area and a small shop with interesting gifts and books. There is also an adjacent cafe with good food, drink bar option, and very fresh baked cakes and sweets. Great place to spend a day. For those who would like to visit often, there is an annual pass for a very reasonable price. It tends to be crowded on school holidays (but much less hassle than Tokyo.) Highly recommended for children/families and also adults who enjoy science and technology.
