Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed this place, I could had spent days checking out each and every item they had on display. But my wife and her friend was getting bored, so I had to hurry up. One of the workers there started up a couple of the old cars/trucks for me to listen to, was really nice of them to do that. When ever I am back up there I will have to stop again to see if there is anything new...

Experiencia fantástica: Frozen in time. This place reminds us how complicated yet simple at the same time, life used to be for pioneers of this land. Many old artifacts that my parents in law can recognize its use, a lot of history that as kids we might pass as boring, we see now with different interest. History is knowledge and I'm glad we can visit this museum to remind us of it.

I grew up driving past this place all the time but never went because it looks so plain from the highway, but the exhibits are very well done and really tell a story and take you back. On par with big city museums, this place is a gem! Expect to spend at least an hour and a half to see everything, longer if you read the signs and appreciate feeling like you were there.

I hope that in the near future the kids activity building will be able to re-open so that we can come back to enjoy that part of the tour as well. Very pleasant staff greeting us gave it a wonderful start, thank you for having us.

Experiencia negativa: Exhibits are not well organized or clean, the covid set up is strange and they are currently running on a ghost crew meaning you can't do many of the usual things and they don't warn you before you pay the 10$ entry fee.

Experiencia positiva: I found this museum to be quite interesting, however it is significantly smaller then the Mennonite Heritage village in Steinbach. But don't let it's size fool you. They have an enormous selection of things to see, the sheer volume of items in their collection even made my head hurt just by thinking about it. But if ever in the region, the Pembina Threshermen museum is highly recommend to stop by and visit. Cheers.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice locking museum. It has big parking lot and washroom. There are a lot of different historical buildings. The museum also has many different car, tractors and tracks. Volunteers who dress in old fashioned clothes are happy to provide excursion.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the Thresherman's Museum this afternoon for a homeschool activity day hosted by some of the museum's volunteers inside the dining hall building, the homeschool children and parents dressed up as well as the volunteers, who were all in costume. We learned about: old time schools, how to card wool, use rope to tie various knots, grind cord with a morter and pastel, as well as making 'kring-el'. I would recommend checking this museum out in summertime, there are several old buildings to look through, varied activities, and demonstrations.

Experiencia positiva: PTM has a lot to offer you! Step back in time to learn about the "Good' ol Days" and walk through many old, antique buildings. There are also many volunteers in costume to help you get more out of the experience.
