Museo Nacional de Eslovenia – Metelkova

Experiencia positiva: Un hermoso museo que ofrece la posibilidad de ver diferentes aspectos de la cultura y la historia eslovena. Quizás sufra de la falta de interactividad en las exposiciones o de otros elementos que puedan atraer a los más jóvenes y a las familias; de hecho, cuando lo visité, estuve solo durante toda mi visita (alrededor de 2 horas) en todo el museo todo el tiempo.

Experiencia negativa: I visited with ljubljana card but definitely not worth your time. This is one of the laziest musuems in terms of narrating a story and positioning of exhibits. Feels like those societ style musuems where they just display and pile everything together in a room with one list saying what the exhibits are. Weapons are interesting though

Experiencia positiva: Muzej na dva sprata, sadrži razne izložbe nameštaja, slika, nakita, porcelana, oružja, igračaka, relikvija... Pored slovenačkog, postoje objašnjenja i na engleskom jeziku. Neki delovi su jedva osvetljeni.

Experiencia fantástica: Odlične zbirke. Zagotovo vredno ogleda.

Experiencia negativa: Piccolo e brutto. Mai capitato di essere l'unico visitatore in un museo. Sembra più un magazzino di "cose vecchie" con pochissime informazioni relative alle varie sale. 8€ buttati.

Experiencia positiva: The exhibits are good, but... The weapons and armor are without explanation and all amassed in a corner. I can't understand why, there are loads of BEAUTIFUL and interesting exemplars, like the air compressed guns and the cold war era material. Seems like a "yeah, we have to have a military corner, but let's not highlight it too much, Look! Shiny pottery!".

Experiencia positiva: Nice museum with interesting exhibits. Not too big, we saw all the rooms in about 40 minutes. It's clean and well maintained. The entrance is free in the first Sunday of every month.

Experiencia negativa: Some unusual items to see.

Experiencia positiva: Well, the staff was really nice, but for a national museum, this place is below the average. The permanent exhibition is poorly-lit, dull, with little text in English, and some objects are not marked at all. It also was super cold in exhibition rooms, which made my visit quite uncomfortable. The collection is nothing special, I mean, really nothing, so you definitely won't lose anything if you don't visit this place.

Experiencia positiva: Save your money! The museum definetely does not worth 8 EUR. You have two floors with six rooms, where located different stuff: furniture, paintings, ceramics, toys and so on. If you already were in such a museum, you won't see something. But there was one room with a collection of weapons, which was not bad.

Experiencia negativa: This was a disappointment for us. Instead of learning interesting insights about Slovenian history we were offered two floors of “deposits” of various historical objects which seemed to us being without any concept. Compared to he Etnograohical museum close to it, this was a very oldschool museum. No story which would meaningfully interconnect the individual rooms, not even the objects in one room. It looked to us as a physical list of kind of random items from various historical periods. Labels were many times illogically presented far from objects, also without numbers to be easily linked. On top of it, we realized first after going through the whole building that the exhibition which was promoted on a flag in front of the building (and was the main trigger for our visit) was already more than a month over. Also, watch out as they have two buildings of this museum on different locations which we didn’t very well understand from their website so we missed other interesting exhibitions promoted on the web as this was not very well communicated there. The only positive experience we had with a lady at the box office who felt sorry for us and found a catalog of pictures from the exhibition we wanted to see but was over. Thank you for that☺️

Experiencia fantástica: V dnevu kulture sem šla v muzej brezplačno. Ni velik ampak ponuja zanimive razstave

Experiencia fantástica: Музей, в новом здании на Метелкова, посетили в первое воскресенье месяца бесплатно. Экспозиция небольшая, но интересная. Экспонаты расположены на двух этажах и разделены по тематике в отдельных залах: комоды, религиозные реликвии, посуда, стулья, игрушки, изобразительное искусство, церковные ткани, оружие. В каждом зале можно увидеть эволюцию того или иного направления от XIV века до наших дней. Коллекция кремниевого оружия - одна из самых больших, что я когда-либо видела. Есть даже военное обмундирование самурая. Маленькое, но ностальгическое собрание игрушек. Было любопытно посмотреть на картинах, как раньше выглядели достопримечательности и города Словении.

Experiencia positiva: Znameniti predmeti, ki so bili odkriti na našem ozemlju (pozlačen bronast kip-Emonski meščan, 9 m dolg deblak iz enega kosa debla, najstarejše glasbilo na svetu-piščal iz medvedove kosti, Situla iz Vač, kamniti mejniki, grobnice, germanski nakit, razkošno zlato okrasje stiške kneginje in še in še...Res priporočam vsem. Mladim in starejšim. Pravi sprehod skozi zgodovino. Nekateri so edinstveni v svetovnem merilu. Pregledna razstava od najstarejše dobe do 20. stoletja. Neverjetno lepa lesena poslikana krsta in edina staroegipčanska mumija v Sloveniji (darilo).

Experiencia fantástica: Although this museum is not big I recommend visiting. There are small but excellent collection of medieval arms and armor, good collection of furniture and artifacts mostly of XVII - XIX centuries. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light and tripod.

Experiencia positiva: Majhni muzej, majhne države. Small museum of a small country. But nice. I like it. It talles you a lot about the history of this nation.

Experiencia negativa: Really there is nothing here. Some ceramics, furniture, and there are also some relics with no label for objects. I really don’t know why anyone on a tight schedule would come here. It’s a history museum but not talking about history.
