İngilizce bilgilendirici bir çıktı veriyorlar elinize. Bazı eserlerin İngilizcesi yok. İki katlı bahçeli bir çok bölümü var. Arkeoloji müzesinin yanında olmasına rağmen aradan geçiş yok. Dışarı çıkıp iki kere sola dönüp 100 metre ileride kapısını göreceksiniz. Epigrafiye ilgisi olan herkes için inanılmaz değere sahip bir müze. Konuya biraz hakim olmanız lazım. Nadir buluntular var. Experiencia fantástica: All about collecting/analyzing ancient writings. The exhibits feature a lot of codified laws and declarations. It is not frequently visited but I enjoyed it. You would need 1-2 hours to see it all. When I visited the gate was locked. Someone came out and let me in. They get a lot of people trying to go to the archeological museum showing up so they lock their doors to prevent confusion (not the best strategy in my book). But the staff were very nice and made sure I had some fliers. They had really nice exhibits and samples showing carving techniques. They also had a pieces from Mycenaean and Minoan civs. One piece was the oldest writing found in Athens. I thought it was neat but I would go to other sites if my time was extremely limited. But it is just right down the road from the archeological museum.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite museums in the world. It's never crowded and you can take time absorbing everything. You can see the effort they put into maintaining it, and they have such extraordinary artifacts. So worth the while and the detour from the Archeology museum. Also, the staff is very kind.

Experiencia fantástica: Εγκαίνια έκθεσης για τον εμπειρικό αρχαιολόγο κο Πιττάκη που κατέγραψε χιλιάδες επιγραφές της αρχαίας Αθήνας, πριν και μετά την απελευθέρωση από τους Τούρκους. Μέλος την Φιλικής Εταιρείας. Μοναδική παρουσίαση για τον άνθρωπο αυτό και το τιτάνιο έργο του. Θα είναι κρίμα να την χάσετε!

Experiencia fantástica: A unique museum that houses a huge collection of 14.078 ancient inscriptions. It is located next to the National Archaeological Museum and is not very big. Tickets are inexpensive and you can admire impressive artifacts such as the goblet of Pericles. A hidden gem of Athens that definitely worth a visit. It is very close to Omonoia and Victoria metro station.
