Experiencia fantástica: Umfassende Sammlung, sehenswerte Sonderausstellungen, attraktives, vielfältiges Programm an Veranstaltungen: Kurator*innen-Führungen, Symposien, Vorträge, Filme, Konzerte. Gute Lage zwischen Tiergarten, Potsdamer Platz und Kulturforum, von Brandenburger Tor mit kurzem Spaziergang zu erreichen — und Bus 200, direkt neben Philharmonie. Wie diese auch von Hans Scharoun erbaut.

Experiencia fantástica: Sehr großzügige und gut organisierte Museale Ausstellung. Von der Taschenflöte bis zu größten Instrumenten gibt es eine große Bandbreite an Ausstellungsstücken.

Experiencia fantástica: Einem Musikinstrumenten- Museum entsprechend wurde viel für eine gute Akustik getan. Sehr gedämpfte und private Atmosphäre, man nimmt sich automatisch viel Zeit für die Hörbeispiele- was sich sehr gelohnt hat! Anschließend ein Kaffee und Stück Kuchen im hauseigenen Cafe. Insgesamt sehr günstig!

Experiencia positiva: Good Vibrations ist bis zum 25. Juni im Musikinstrumenten-Museum, Tiergartenstraße 1, zu sehen. Geöffnet ist Di, Mi, Fr 9-17 Uhr, Do 9-20 Uhr, Sa-So 10-17 Uhr.

Experiencia negativa: Extremely rude staff. Enthusiastically arrived at 3:50pm and was impatiently told to go away as closing was at 5pm.

Experiencia positiva: It's awesome music instruments museum ever. They collect very complete collection from rennaissance until now. But mostly they collect so many rennaisance and baroque instruments. So many old instruments there to get to know the history and sounds you could just ask the audio guide. The price is 6€ include audio guide in german or english. It's really recomended place in Berlin for classical musician.

Experiencia negativa: Trotz sehr großer Auswahl an Instrumenten kein weiterer Besuch. Der Empfang war schon nicht sonderlich freundlich. Sind rein gegangen und dann erstmal Probleme wegen Handtasche da zu groß und keine Schließfächer ausgeschildert. Sehr unfreundlicher Hinweis darauf. Bin schon sehr enttäuscht.

Experiencia positiva: The collection is actually really good, and the museum has a lot of potential. Unfortunately the staff hasn't been very helpful, and the museum lacks of interactivity. It still worth a visit, but remember to get the audio guide, there's no other way to learn something.

Experiencia negativa: Ok, it is an amazing collection, but what an unhelpful and unfriendly welcome. I am a curator and already have an interest but it pains me to see such great potential undermined by woeful visitor services and interpretation. Go along - the place needs your support - but tell them they need to improve their offer or they will wither and die.

Experiencia positiva: I visited this museum in the end of July 2012 and was met by the sadest looking man I have ever seen in a museum (and with all the museums I have been to now, that says a lot....) This museum has a good collection of instruments and hearing the instruments being played on the audio guide is cool, but no information about the making of the instruments is given in the audio guide or anywhere else in the museum. The little written information that is scattered around the museum is in German only. Many of the instruments are amazingly beautiful but they are presented in a very "sterile" way. I wished the museum had organized the collection in a way that made it possible to sit down and study the instruments while listening to the music. It could also been interesting to see the newer instruments "in action" in music videos, live performances or demonstrations. But if you are interested in musical instruments it is worth a visit, just don`t try to order anything in the cafe after 16.00, then you will be told off by the lady there like I was....
