Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place to visit in Artenara to learn about life of aboriginal people of Gran Canaria. I was impressed how well the museum was put together to reflect the past by using antique furniture and items. The people working there received us with a lot of positive energy.

Experiencia fantástica: An interesting and informative museum in an epically beautiful location. If you are interested in learning more about how people used to live on this island, this place is worth a visit. Desirée, the museum’s host, made the visit especially pleasant - She is extremely knowledgeable about Canarian history, speaks English, French and German, and is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: This museum is so charming! I enjoyed it better than all the other fancy ones on the island. Because it was so down to earth with everyday living. A very cheerful and friendly guide. Birds and cat. Artefacts from olden days. Don't miss this!

Experiencia fantástica: A fantastic museum with a variety of cultural items and information. The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the history of the region. His passion was evident and he had truly created a special place. We recommend stopping at the Centro de Interpretación de Risco Caído y las Montañas Sagradas to learn a bit about the history of the region first before coming here to see and experience it.

Experiencia fantástica: A very interesting and atmospherical museum with stunning views. We were the only people there so we had the caves to ourself to explore. The staff made sure we had a pleasant time and answered our questions. The cat that lives there followed us around the whole time. Fun fact: I went to this museum in 2017 and the cat was there already - so it was nice being back. Would definitely come back and recommend. Also there is no entrance fee but you can give a little tip to support the museum.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a very nice museum. Large numbers of visitors. It's a nice tourist attraction in Artenara. Cave dwellings as a ''flat'' should be not associated badly. It is a very good and economical idea of people who once lived there due to all caves has a permanent and nice interior temperature. Also, rain and wind are not a problem. It never snowed. The caves were furnished with original furniture and household appliances. It's worth seeing. I visited in January 2015. Very friendly staff. There is no problem with parking space. WC available. A small gift shop on site.

Experiencia fantástica: Small dreamlike time travel. I encourage to ask the very friendly and educated staff to inquire about the everyday use of environment - they will tell the delicacies which you will not decipher from the assemblage on exhibit, e. g. in each of the lovely little beds 4 persons slept... Life was not that easy though it looks like being a setting of a fairy tale. Time was spent on hard and light handwork, preparing anything for yourself with your hands - things now you only can pay for.

Experiencia fantástica: Free meseum of a typical cave house with six different rooms, representing the different social classes and also different use. There are explanation panel and it is very well maintained. So don't miss this place and don't forget to leave a tip in order to keep this place free and well maintained.

Experiencia fantástica: Florencia was just the perfect representative for the museum. She was just so engaging and provided so much more information. She is a credit, was so passionate about the museum, made us feel welcome. We arrived quite late in the day, just remember this 'must see' piece of history is only open to 4.30pm, so give yourself plenty of time.
