🗣️ Tramway Histórico de Buenos Aires: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, retro trams run for a few hours on the 2 km line. A member of the Association of Tram Friends stands at the beginning of the line and explains the history of trams in Buenos Aires. Riding the Historic tram is one of the unique things to do in Buenos Aires. Although the ride is free, each passenger receives a ticket, which makes a nice souvenir. There is only one tram with one car and the line to get on is quite long. The trip around Caballito takes about half an hour. Nice attraction for kids.
Experiencia fantástica: Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this is a cute, free activity. The folks manning the tram are all volunteers, and they do a great job. I recommend coming here in the morning, as the lines can get pretty long in the afternoon.
Experiencia fantástica: I’m so glad I visited here. I loved the ride in the old tram car. Please support this volunteer organization to keep history alive.
Experiencia positiva: Go earlier to queue outside and get a ticket. They will give you the background history and then move to introduce the souvenir. As they are volunteering for the tour, support support.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting to learn about the history of trams in Buenos Aires from the tram staff. The ride takes about 20 minutes. The neighbhood is very nice. Riding the tram makes a nice trip away from downtown BA. It's FREE but sovenirs are available during the prep talk before the ride. Everything is in Spanish but Google translate works in real time. I highly recommend the tram ride.
