Experiencia fantástica: The villa was designed and built by the Finnish painter Eero Nelimarkka as a summer house and studio in 1933. The villa upstairs was designed specifically as a studio space with large bright windows. Now it is a historical house museum used as a residency for artists, exhibition space and location for events. It is located 500 metres from the Regional Art Museum of Southern Osthrobothnia Nelimarkka Museum and 4 km from Alajarvi town centre.
